  1. It's hilarious that LEGO still has an Overwatch 2 section on its shop Themes page, with a picture of the minifigures from the new set to boot, but then no products on the click through. How have they not removed that by now??
  2. Sorry you didn't make it, even with the extension! (And to be honest the entry topic was open for another day after that so I might have let it slide in). I'm keen to see what you made anyway!
  3. 18+ is a branding device, not a content rating. It's a tactic for LEGO to say "hey adults, you might like this, spend your $$$". They haven't thrown their content policies totally out of the window, but they do seem to bend things here and there. I'm just not sure Futurama is currently (or ever has been) popular enough for LEGO to make something off of it.
  4. I have merged the topics and added the Promobricks info to the first post. Carry on.
  5. We put LotR in Historic and Pirates of the Caribbean in Pirates because those two areas rarely get any sets from LEGO any more, and while Licensed, those themes align with their forum sections. That's where they're going to stay. The Licensed Theme forum is bloated with discussion topics because LEGO does so many Licensed themes (including little one-offs) every year. It doesn't have as many topic overall as other forums because people post fewer MOCs in here, but it does have far more active theme discussion topics. This topic will be locked now. Carry on discussing LotR in Historic Themes - and you might check out some awesome historic MOCs while you're there!

  12. Voting will be up by about Tuesday mid-morning US time, and all will be revealed then, but it won't be too different from past EB contests with voting.
  13. Ok, Sunday September 25th, 11:59pm PST (California time). The voting window is going to be pretty short for logistical reasons with the prizes, but it should be ok.
  14. The contest is to create your own theme. That sentence you mentioned is simply listing LEGO's themes in a flowery, introductory way, and it concludes with the phrase "your own fresh idea". Unless it's too blatantly obvious what existing themes you have used given your builds, I'd suggest you alter whatever descriptions you had planned, and present them as an original theme. Otherwise, perhaps just redo the figures a little if that is what would give it away? Feel free to PM me to discuss further.
  15. He'll go from an arrogant arse who does it all for himself to an arrogant arse who puts his very nature to work in service of a Higher Cause. That's intriguing, nuanced development in my opinion, and all of the situations in the first three episodes have played out in ways that seem logical given how the characters are presented. It also seems to be one of the show's points so far about what will be necessary to build a successful Rebel Alliance, that it takes all types of people including some who are inherently not classic good (although not people as radical as Saw I guess). And if you want a show about the early formation of the Rebellion, have you watched Rebels' later seasons? Just don't get frustrated that there's no LEGO for most of it... sigh.
  16. Now they just need to sell the UCS flying triangle with spots for at least three of the Ambush set to slot in. That'll encourage repeat purchases! But I agree. It's a good looking, accurate set, but it needed to come with a few more figures for it.
  17. Inconspicuous! Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time! I miss your reviews from way back in the day. I love this. The theme idea feels very cohesive, and the builds give me super 90s vibes. The use of those old doors as platforms and roofs is wonderful.
  18. One thing that is missing that was there before is all the colours of mid-legs, such as those from the 4+ Spidey sets. I bought all of the colours back before the changeover, but they're not there now, at least not when I search the sets in which they appear.
  19. Yeah the thresholds to avoid the handling fees are quite low. 12€ in Europe, $19 here in Australia. That's a very easy threshold to make.
  20. Public vote chooses the winner. Each section's moderator tends to look out for what to feature from their section. Now other entries have been featured too!
  21. Final Week! Create a Theme Contest This is the final week to enter our Create a Theme Contest - entries close on September 24th. Ask any questions in the Contest Rules & Discussion topic. Check out some of the fantastic entries so far below:
  22. Looking good! That house is stunning for the piece count. Please link your entry in the entry topic (unless you are still finalising something about it):
  23. Sure. You don't have to meet the maximum of course, but whatever you like! Also @Cyborg_Samurai, thanks for trying to answer people's questions but please leave the answering to staff, as it can cause confusion otherwise.
  24. If it's just like a single part accessory, that's fine if it's in addition to the 80. If it's a big Chima-like brickbuilt weapon though, then that would be stretching it and that would count as part of the 80.
  25. Don't know how much this will help but our LEGO Certified Stores here in Australia sell pre-made figures online. Some of them are as close "official" configurations as it gets, but not all (plus they have put the skirt pieces on backwards): https://lego.bricksmegastore.com/collections/lego-build-a-minifigure-3-pack
