Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Clone OPatra replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes, I think they add all parts on a rolling delayed basis, so we won't be seeing Feb parts for another while. They haven't even added all January parts that I'd expect them to sell. -

They don't really do a press release and big reveal for every new wave of sets, do they? For ongoing lines they just eventually put the stuff up on the website and start selling it. There are press releases for new themes or waves of themes that they really want to talk about for specific reasons. I really wouldn't read anything into the lack of one. -
LEGO Ninjago 2023 Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As a passive Ninjago observer and only very occasional buyer (besides cool figure parts on PaB more regularly), I've got to say the new Dragons Rising wave is really not doing it for me. It looks like an extention of core rather than a cool summer wave with a strong identity like we've gotten for quite a number of years now. It's just a bland mish mash of stock Ninjago things, and though I know the dragons will be quite complex builds as usual, something about their style and the Bounty's make them look way too smooth and simple. I find both the villain characters and heros aesthetically unpleasing to the extreme. Ugly can be cool sometimes if done right, but these designs just look yuck to me. The return to full solid colours for the ninja looks weird, and I'm not a fan of their new headgear either. The one set that stands out is the wolf thing. That one is cool and different. The transformation of the mech into a car also is impressive, though the mech version is again quite ugly to me. I think I liked the January core stuff more than this honestly. -

Yep the ones I found that way were the two new Friends boys' hairpieces, the long swoopy over face hair in dark red (only black showed up in the list), the locker piece in orange and its door in white and orange, and the Monkie Kid weapon pack (2665) - though it was out of stock. -

It looks like nothing has been added from that 80111 Lunar New Year Parade set yet. Just placed my order for new stuff. There were a few things that I only found by searching part numbers, rather than my usual method of sorting newest (and out of stock just in case), and scrolling backwards. Well that's weird. I had one picked in my cart, but by the time I placed the order 10-15 minutes later, it disappeared. And now it's gone from the site entirely. I think I did manage to nab the two printed slopes from the Bionicle GWP though. -

It's happening!!!!! Blacktron torsos for all the space fans! Some dual moulded legs are 1.62 AUD and some from Monkie Kid are $8+ The multi weapon pack from Monkie Kid Jan wave isn't there yet, but the bone weapons from Ninjago are. I've only seen one colour of both the new locker/refrigerator piece and its door, and together they'll be over $3 AUD -

Why would they rectify something that they're unwilling to say is wrong (even when it doesn't match the product images)? -

Yep. I have deleted those. We used to have a hard and fast rule that we'd not allow any spoilers even in spoiler tags for about two weeks after a movie comes out. Sometimes we even locked the topic. I'll leave it open for now, but please no spoilers whatsoever even in spoiler tags for the next couple of weeks. -

Nope. The first one only opened in the last few years (and they've quickly expanded). -

Five? Polar bear cub, Orca, adult seal, baby seal, adult turtle. -
Oh good spot, totally missed that! Funny to see them finally using that piece as an actual duck, since I think it's only ever officially been used as a toy one. I just might have to get that gorgeous set.

Instagram. I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but is it looking to anyone else like the wand with attachment is actually a whole new dual-moulded piece, and not an attachment you can stick on any wand? I say that because even the top of the box image from BoH show Harry and Voldemort with the clear bits on their wands, and in the Expecto Patronum images it looks like Lupin has Harry's black wand when he's shown casting the spell and a different colour when he has a wand without casting a spell. -

There's a LEGO Certified Store in Sydney, Australia that has huge window decals up of the 2012 TIE and X-Wing, and 2012 Luke Skywalker minifigure from the X-Wing. How does this even happen. What a way to celebrate May 4th 2023. -

Amusing that Voldemort is using his white wand and not the colour uses for Dumbledore's wand (i.e. the Elder Wand), dark tan. Watch the team start to say "our LEGO wand is iconic, we don't want to make specific ones)" just like Star Wars does about the lightsaber hilt. There are so many things that would've made BoH more exciting. -

They finally went and committed all in to making Friends-type material in LEGO City style. Hooray! These sets look awesome. They've got some real personality to them. I love to see LEGO's commitment to making new animals continuing as well after we languished with such a scant selection for so many years. -

Just watched @Brick Clicker's LEGO Dreamzz video and what does one of the characters have in the biggest set? A kama! But of course we can't get that in Star Wars anymore, for "reasons". -

He should've had the dark orange Friends hairpiece from January recoloured, like someone here suggested. The Sirius hair doesn't look right at all. -

They've dropped the ball with their own (ugly) system plain and simple. The Polyjuice Potion set should've been the proof of concept, and they never did it again. People said with the first 2018 system "oh the footprint just gets too big, they couldn't keep going", yet LEGO is basically doing the exact same thing again with sets that have things like specific exteriors and doors that you can't put on top of each other. A true big dollhouse Hogwarts you could add slices to could've been cool, but this isn't it. -

It's really weird that even the random student looks to be Gryffindor too after they have gone to such welcome trouble to include the other houses lately. -

Sadly just extremely whelmed by these sets. Last year really blew it out of the water with the newness. This year the sets are just fine. There isn't enough newness to grab me as a long-time fan and make me want to buy into the bigger sets. The second task set already released actually has the most cool stuff per capita. And once again I'm baffled why they go to lengths to make new prints for random characters (in the banners for instance) and not give Bellatrix a new head or printed dress piece. I think the second task might be the only HP set I buy in full this year, and I'll put big set money towards the new Republic Gunship if that turns out cool. Again, not bad sets, just not interesting enough to me. -
The pics are out there! Adult turtle! Baby bears! Little whale! Not seeing seals yet though.

I have really liked the look of the Spidermen figures, especially Miles, but Wolverine and Cap just look baaaad. Batman looks pretty cool though, so I think it is a matter of what characters they try and do in this style. Is Wolverine the first one to have his arms attached at the actual shoulder point and not below though?
