  1. The koala also only natively appears on one continent, same as the kangaroo, and I doubt they made that with reuses in mind up front. They could of course include it in a zoo set or if they randomly made another Australia set/theme. The kangaroo is a recognisable and well loved animal, but I think an adult one would actually be too big for a CMF. It'd have to be a Joey, or a wallaby instead.
  2. You know you can swap your own yellow head onto it. It's LEGO after all..
  3. Sigh. More comments to hide. Stick to the actual topic now or face further consequences.
  4. It's always fun when one of these leaks in full out of the blue.... but once the dust has settled, none of these makes me super sad to miss out them (because of the boxes), which I guess is both a good and bad thing? The entirety of the goatherd is nice, but the goat is due to also come in a new Mediaeval Market Village set, so will likely be on PaB. There are others that I'd definitely buy if they were still feelable, like the red herring detective, barbarian, dog groomer and maybe Basil, but none are so important to me that I have to have them.
  5. I don't think the BTS hair has enough volume at the back personally. I feel mixed on this set. I love that it exists, I love the play features that they've done so well, and I love that they have included such a variety of Minifigures and done them to a high standard. However, I just don't love the look of the actual model. Maybe that's down to the source material, but the model itself doesn't make me go wow, and I especially dislike that they wouldn't figure out a way to get more Minifigures in there.
  6. Where are you seeing pics with these alt faces?
  7. Welcome! We have another recent topic on this same subject. Let's not double up. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/196268-favorite-themes/
  8. New Elementary has a whole article about them: https://www.newelementary.com/2023/10/elements-exclusive-to-lego-pick-brick.html?m=1
  9. The Aurora hair is back on. It's pages and pages back, with amongst the other pieces with which it originally appeared.
  10. Starting from the oldest of this batch of newly added parts, a bunch are Ninjago things that I'm sure have been added previously, but possibly some that were missing as well. Weird.
  11. Rebrickable has images of pretty much everything. That seemed to me to ultimately be the best resource when I was placing my order of new parts.
  12. That would definitely be why, but in the US anyway, the VIP pack adds itself to carts with nothing but a Standard parts order.
  13. Thanks. Yes it is going to be difficult. My cart was around $80, then suddenly it was around $75, and on the next page when I placed the order it was $60. All the animals besides the big turtle have gone, but if some small parts have also gone it's going to be hard to tell. I did copy paste the list to save it though, so I could cross check.
  14. Can confirm on a US order the VIP pack added to the cart automatically with just a Pick a Brick order. And for those wondering, it let me proceed to my cart, but got rid of the out of stock items (which it wouldn't let me manually delete). That was a marathon looking up all those codes for parts without images.
  15. As in did they disappear from your cart once you checked out? Or it wouldn't let you continue at all?
  16. I got those a bit yesterday night (Australia time) too. They must be working on things. It was in stock initially and I could've ordered it, hence the system allowing me to add it to my cart.
  17. Weirdly both the Orca body and polar bear cub are still showing in my cart even after refreshing, despite being sold out. Anyway, these things always come back. I haven't yet had an experience where a part went out of stock forever due to resellers (or other factors).
  18. When multiple cloth elements come in one set they're always a multipack. As I recall, the Rivendell capes were also originally listed with individual names, before being updated to the multipack name.
  19. I've got the answer to my own question. For anyone else who'd like to be able to look up pictures (if LEGO makes stuff in stock before adding images, that is), you can search the New Elementary article for new June parts: https://www.newelementary.com/2023/06/what-are-new-lego-parts-for-june-2023.html?m=1
  20. A lot of parts without pictures have codes that aren't turning up anything in Brickset. I hope they add the photos when they make everything in stock, as otherwise I've got no way to figure out what the parts are!
  21. I think Harry Potter is a standout example of how they are different actually! At least Series 1, with its use of mid legs for years that would've had short legs in sets, and the weird art style for the trio that didn't match sets and hair choices that weren't used in the sets either. Differences haven't been as noticeable for the Marvel CMF largely because they're characters not also found in sets, or different costumes / variants anyway.
  22. The sets team is all one team, but the Minifigures team for CMF is different. They must talk to each other a bit though.
  23. Do you mean the email with the subject line LEGO Shop receipt ____ (long string of numbers)? Yes in recent experience that means your order has been shipped and will arrive within a week.
  24. October, or so I heard.
  25. BAM is just obsessed with jeans. Jean shorts, jean skirt, now jean mermaid tail. Next it'll be a blue dog with jeans printing on the side and buttons for eyes.
