  1. Eh, a good prank, but not when the Toa Maxilos incident is fresh in our minds. Plus, I almost immediately knew it was you... the picture held similar qualities to the Toa Maxilos gag. My opinion? Don't do it again, or I'll be forced to make one of those threats like last time! ^^
  2. Damn. Damn. DAMN. I wanted that to be real so badly. Plus, this is very reminiscent to the Toa Maxilos fake... I think that the joke has been sorely overused. I can see a few clear differences between the two images, but the similarities are too great. Meh...
  3. But still very similar in build and stature.
  4. Exactly what I was feeling. See, the thing with promo Toa sets is that they don't divulge from the norm much. Norik and Iruini were Toa Metru, basically, and Takanuva, while not being a promo, was a boxed set, and was similar to the Toa Nuva. However, with the Mahri looking very unique in build, perhaps we'll see an new, awesome Toa. ((Yeah right...))
  5. That Venom fig will fit in nicely with minifigs, considering I've always seen him as a larger-than-normal guy. I'm really thinking of buying this.
  6. The main thing that's driving me to get these is the awesome undead armies you cloud make!
  7. Exactly. But, you can only have so many licenses that use bricks before branching out. Bionicle was originally not a brick-built theme. And, by putting themes like Exo-Force and Spongebob in, they allow themselves to appeal to different markets and ages, but they also feel the urge to create things that further immerse themselves into those different markets.
  8. Lego can only go so far with bricks. This is why they made Bore-onicle, Exo-Farce, and the Spongebob stuff. Bionicle was for Action figures, Exo-Force was for stereotypical Anime, and Spongebob was for the young kids. Now, they need to keep up with Nerf, and make more merchandise for their themes as well. But the brick quality? S'all good.
  9. *Reads DBZ comment* HEY! ...Super Saiyan Whale Babies. Actually has a plot, too.
  10. Not gonna lie to you guys... those SM3 sets from Megabloks look pretty cool... especially that final battle set.
  11. Lesovikk. Why not one "k"? Because we want to sound cool! I'll check out the set before final judgment.
  12. Yes. I'm acting like it to make you all feel stupid. No, I didn't see it as defensive at all.
  13. I was defensive? Yeah, okay... way to totally not get the point.
  14. I doubt they would put it there for NO REASON, buddy.
  15. Egotistical much?
  16. Well said. That's the Darth Vader I like to hear. While DV does post very negative comments on the sets, he does so with purpose. I agree with him on the most part, because I know where he's coming from. I was around back in 2001 and 2002, where fantastic sets like the Bahrag were brought into being, and the concept that they brought with them was slowly eaten away by fans wanting more articulation and simpler functions. But I'll wait to see the outcome of this set, because I .. it has potential. I have been wrong.
  17. And you don't have to throw insults to make your point, either. I love it when you at least back your arguments with reasons, because you make good points. But that post was just a flat-out, somewhat noobish statement. Besides, what's wrong with poking fun at you a little? :) Just commenting on your overall dislike towards all 2007 sets. Why didn't you give a reason this time?
  18. The very same thing I want to say about this topic now that you've posted in it. Hey, at least he doesn't have hole in his construction, right? Because I know you hate that. Don't take my insults so seriously, man!
  19. DAMN! I thought it was true... In which case I would have rejoiced, knowing that the SW fans wouldn't be able to female canine anymore.
  20. KARZAHNI'D! Now bring on that damn Seventh Toa!
  21. Maxilos, This, and perhaps the Seventh Toa are all on my list.
  22. I'm thinking it's a trap that utilizes the 2004 function for Titans. The bend axles can be seen, and I think it snaps in. Who knows? All I can say is, Three sets for the price of one is great in my book. A must buy, for quality, number of pieces, and sets alone.
  23. Totally! I still have that set! Yeah, the RC looks pretty good to me. It's unfortunate that they had to use those large cylinder pieces, but I like it even so. I agree. See, the set in unimpressive, but the minifig count it good. This year is an Army Builder year. Still... NO WAMPAS?!
  24. Nicely put together, overall. I'm pretty pleased. The bearded pirate Skeleton is a nice touch, too. Now, of only one of them had a peg leg, or perhaps a hook...
