  1. Sure thing. I'm in the same boat with my character. The weapon is essentially a last resort/role-play item for her. Yeah I'm super glad you decided to cast the shield spell. Otherwise I was like "Witness the power of Rally!"
  2. You can take it and sell it. Keep in mind though, you don't need a weapon proficiency to wield one. You just don't roll any dice when you attack with it, so the result is just the weapon bonus. That being said, it's always handy to have one in case you run out of spirit.

  6. That is an awesome build! You even went to the trouble of prepping it for usage right off the bat. What sort of lighting setup do you use? The Mission Master should factor it into the rolls. That way you don't have to keep adjusting your stats depending on which tool you have equipped at a given time. That being said, if it's easier for certain Mission Masters to just change the stats when they list them on a mission so that they don't forget, they're certainly allowed to do that.

  14. The bonus to Vitality is for every 2 points of Strength. So you have to invest 8 total points into Strength to = 2 extra points of Vitality. Or you can just invest directly in Vitality for 4 points. Admittedly when creating a character for the first time your best investment is to put 2 points into Strength. However after that first investment if you're just interested in raising Vitality its more economical to just spend points directly on it.

  17. MM Note: Varen will make a Death Check (Strength/Skill/Smarts/or Spirit DC 3) on his turn this round and every subsequent round. If he succeeds he is considered *Stable* and can be revived with a medicine check or potion. If he fails he is still considered unstable. A potion or medicine check can also be done before the Death Check to automatically stabilize him. At the end of combat he makes one more check. If that check fails he is considered dead and cannot be revived with a medicine check or potion.
