  4. As others have said the intention behind the science-fantasy setting was to allow for more build variety amongst mission masters. Thus I'm sure you'll find some tend one way more than another. Personally my aim is somewhat steampunky/nexo-knights.

Polaris accesses another cube, differing in color, but finds much of the same type of information. Felix does confirm that a cube is indeed missing from it's location. Checking a nearby holocube, the Chimeran feels his senses overwhelmed with endless chemical formulae and synthesis reactions for biological components.

  8. Yes, MM are free to award character points as they see fit, whether for combat, role-play, puzzle solving, etc.
  9. Polaris interacts with one of the cubes and has her senses flooded with a cascade of information on genome sequencing and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The cubes seem part of the information storage system.

  19. The intention for all spells is to allow players to describe them however they wish, so yes mystic binding could be described as ice freezing an opponent. Versatility of the spells is up to the Mission Master, but the general principal is to allow for creativity with the spells and the proficiencies as long as the mechanics are not already covered by an already existing item/spell. For example you probably can’t use elemental evocation to create enough fire to reveal things by, that’s what the Photonics manipulation spell is for.
  20. MM Note: Keep in mind, moving to C3 will potentially give Abam an Opportunistic Attack if you move and cast on the same turn.

  23. "Peacefully relocate, might be a better term for it Hugo. Even you must know the mischief must move on if it is ever to grow. These chutes will only contain it for so long and eventually as Enson here said, the Hall may send people of a more aggressive disposition."
  24. It really becomes a game of adaptive strategies. If the enemies use the Rally/Defend options the heroes have to use them in turn to either overcome buffed defenses or absorb a buffed attack. If the enemies just rely on normal attacks the heroes can as well. It's also interesting to see how using the same point build total for fewer enemies can affect balance.
