So are we going to at least see them? You can't just go telling us they exist and not share.

I have to agree that I am seriously liking the gritty Althior, most people in Heroica are becoming too nice. I tried to have Skrall take a grumpy streak but that didn't last too long before Guts called him out on it.

Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
Waterbrick Down replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note: All right everyone's good to go. Game on. The heroes now fully assembled, continue to stand before the Inn of the Waltzing Dragon. The man in red returns Nerwen's nod and traders, merchants, and everyday common folk pass back and forth along the quiet street. -
He's technically still paying child support, but just as in the real world relationships are complicated and affairs, scandals, and extramarital relationships are just as likely to happen in Heroica as in the real world.

Skrall looks the elf up and down, "Ms. Alexis. Don't ya find that get-up a little drafty? To answer yer question though, no I haven't ever been in the fields. Can't be all that bad though from what I hear." "'t would be an interestin' adventure that would. As long as yer focused on slaying quarry instead of pumpin' ether into yer sword, I think we could manage." Skrall replied with a slight grin.

Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
Waterbrick Down replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note: So we're just waiting on Cronk and then we'll get going. Hopefully the photos are all fixed now and everyone can see everything. -
Skrall had been deep in thought and had totally missed the leaving of the Metasimian, he'd glanced up just as the knight left with another group of heroes to help with the Town Watch. "Hmm... well, I guess they're off. Perhaps some vermin extermination might be in order." Skrall made his way to the bottom of the stair and fixed his name to the Fields of Glory: Unlimited Quest.

We shall see. So posades, how hard of a quest do you want? I've heard of enemies favoring certain classes, but I don't think anyone's ever given it a try.
-
Photo's should hopefully be fixed, I switched some settings on Flickr that might have caused the brief hiccup.
-
40 Shots with about an average of 20 seconds between shots so ~ 15 minutes for 7 seconds of footage and that's just a rough cut. Smoother animation would probably take twice as many photos and a longer setup time between shots.
-
The lighting and build itself look superb, maybe a different camera angle though.

Alrighty, Quest 65 is off and rolling. As this is a puzzle quest, if anyone outside the quest wants to solve the puzzles, PLEASE PM me as opposed to just posting the solution in this thread. Also, I didn't have the time or the best equipment for it this time round, but I promise one day this will happen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ifdcKhg99s

A greasy looking cyclops enters the hall. Glancing at the participants for Quest 65 his eyebrows raising at some of the names, he crosses out heroes until only 4 remain and then exits the hall. I think you're forgetting someone. I don't think Skrall will go either class though, it's hard to give up doing damage that tends to average in the triple digits. Regulator is cool, but not consistent enough for me to strategize with.
-
Quest 65 is 15 sets, with quite a few extra shots for puzzle mechanisms.
-
Imagine it in the hands of a Warden though that rolled a shield in the 1 or 2nd round of battle.
-
"Not unless we'll have to catch Steerpike by testin' the refreshments ourselves." Skrall left the the sage and made his way down the stairs and signed his name up for Quest 66. "Probably could use a good heavy like myself, 'sides I'm sure Patricia'd be glad to see my ugly mug again."
-
Aside from maybe a dire bear I can't see Skrall really transforming into anything if he went Beast Warrior, so no motivation there.
-
"What do ya say Nur? Up fer another romp with the ol' wolf gang?"
-
"Considerin' helpin' out with the upcomin' festivities. Someone's goin' to have to watch over the bunch of healers. If not that one, might consider a bout in the fields. Plain busy work, that's what I need. A little less peril and more stability is what I'm thinkin'."
-
"It's an acquired taste, I suppose. So are either of ya fine gentlemen lookin' at signin' up fer one of the new quest postin's?"
-
Skrall took a sip of the wine, "I guess you could say that. Now all I need is my flooring certification and I'll be good to go into business."
-
"With no more favor than it ever has, my lord. Got into a scrape with an ol' coot who thought she was goin' to be ascendin' to godhood or somethin' like that. Set her straight though, an' hopefully the world's a little less further from the edge of peril. And you?" Skrall poured the wine and handed each a goblet. "Say, is that my good friend Nur, hidin' under that shaggy exterior?"
-
I'll see what I can do about it. It's funny how the characters I never intended to be memorable end up getting remembered and vice versa.
