  1. "Nay, ya may look like a big brute, but yer not but a jelly legged land lubber. Leave me be."
  2. QM Note: I don't have anything railroaded, if that is what you're waiting for. This part is pretty free form as to how you're going to break Grishnod out. "Yer no Fire Nord, ya think I'm gonna trust a circus performer to do my job?" Purpearl excuses herself and makes it to rest of the group unhindered.
  3. Inspired and Reinforced operate on a different mechanism than poisoned. I think something like Blessed # would work well and keep such effects from becoming irrelevant. I'm for the poison change, though considering the potential for the massive stacking passive damage of deadly venoms potential, I might recommend a price hike.
  4. "Oh, we'll all go raidin' except fer a few of us. We just got back in fact, 'tis why this storeroom be so full of our well earned bounty."
  5. "Someone's got to keep on lookout, 'sides I'm not bein' paid to loaf around lollygagging over a bunch of performing bumpkins."
  6. "What's it to you? And what sort of rescue party, surely you aren't from Irlaz, you'd had to have made it over the river." The orc paused, "You'd best be careful, guard checks in here every hour or so, he should be back soon."
  7. "Tis the best place to launch our raids into the surrounding countryside, hurp, of course and no, no, I've, hurp, got to stay here and look after the stuff."
  8. Dreyrugr successfully nudges the door open and rolls inside. "Aren't you a little pale for a viking?"
  9. "Hurr, hurr, hurr, Fitz Leadfoot be my name. I'm from the North with the rest of, hurp, my group. We landed and setup shop about, hurp, a few months back." Purpearl discerns that the Nord is very intoxicated.
  10. Dreyrugr makes it to the auxiliary building, will he try the door? "Why not, could use the company of a pretty lass. Here have a Mead on me, hurp." The Nord hands Purpearl a Mead and drapes an arm over her shoulder, his breath heavy with alcohol. "Tell me about, herp, yerself, miss."
  11. Purpearl notices a few casks of Mead in the corner. There are a few swords, as well as a spear, and some shields. Mushrooms and fish line one of the tables and a barrel of apples lies open on the floor. The Nord takes a swig from his bottle before staggering forward a little. "Well I've got to, hurp, watch over this stuff, but if you've got some gold on ya, hurp, ya can take some fish or mead."
  12. Purpearl wanders into the storehouse with no problem, though a few Nords see her enter. "Hurp, wachya, hurp, doin' here?"
  13. Dreyrugr successfully hides behind the well unseen by anyone.
  14. Dreyrugr does not see anyone watching him.
  15. The Nord points to a well near the barracks.
  16. "Quite impressive. As I told your pale friend, can't say I'm really thirsty right now and most of the rest of us just wander into the storehouse when it fits our fancy."
  17. "25 Gold a tankard of course."
  18. "I'd be happy to accept 25 Gold a piece."
  19. "Perhaps a barter could be in order, all the Mead you want pale-man, for that blackened armor of yours."
  20. "Cold one? Isn't it cold enough outside already?" "I think my companion meant something to drink." "Oh, well I don't know how many of them would appreciate a mead at the moment, but most of the time we just grab some out of the storehouse when we're thirsty. What was your talent again?"
  21. Baradock noted three guards on the wall who were still patrolling the exterior. All in all, eight Nords were watching the display. "Nay little one, were we to trim a single hair of our head, 'twould be considered a dishonoring of our patron deity Thoric."
  22. Glup looks at Nagure's bident rather nervously, but nods her head vigorously. "Well, then this will be quite a show. Come in." The Fire Nord leads them into the fort and the circus troup starts to unload the necessary gear before starting up some of their tricks. Soon several Nords have gathered and are watching the display with cries of enjoyment and laughter. What will the party do?
  23. "Hah! I've no clue what devilry that thing is, but if the rest of your entertainment is as good as that, I doubt we'll be in need of any further compensation for our "hospitality". Now what about those weapons?" Mauryl whisks up into the air and sees that there are four guards on the walls, five in the courtyard tending to their weapons and fishing nets. A boat sits anchored in a small inlet on the northern end of the fort. The northern walls face the sea and are built on steep rocky outcroppings. The rest of the fort is lain out just as Boris's map depicted.
  24. "Huhuhuhuh, depends how good your performance is, may need to keep a few as... compensation."
  25. "Nelvin and Glup could probably conceal theirs, but I think the rest of us would be pretty hard pressed unless some of you want a sink or swim lesson in sword swallowing."
