Five heroes quickly jump out and join the rest of the group before the rioting crowd. I must say that the way Nords have dealt with vampires have been some of my favorite scenes in all of heroica.

QM Note: Nagure (Costy) has been absent for over a week giving no notice. At this point in time, I'm going to drop him from the party, should he return with a reason for his absence he might join back in. The party prepares to head out and discover that Nagure had gone missing in the interim fight with Mint. "We must move on, hopefully the big fellow is alright and can catch up with us later." As the group moves on they notice a stark contrast between Baltarok and the High Kingdoms. A desolation seems to hang over the land, rocky outcroppings and scraggly trees dot the landscape and no sign of civilization can be seen in any direction. The road, little more than a set of ruts in the ground, is hard with the late winter cold and patches of snow litter ground. After a good bit of traveling the party sees the outline of a city on the horizon. "Vim Lhzar, oldest city in all of Baltarok they say. Razed to the ground during the Orcish Wars, it's the capitol of one of the four remaining Orc clans, Clan Irlaz." The circus cart soon makes it to the gates. A barricade stretches across the main entrance. "So.....you still.....refuse us en....trance, even..... after all.....that? There....is still....no....reason.....for this....fool.....ish....ness." "Arrrr." "Of course it is, less you're willing to contribute. Ah look what's just rolled up!" The Orc turned to the party, "Even more foreigners. I should add encouraged to that list as well. Basically, I'm wondering whether Atramor's Free Hit (or any counter for that matter) from his Expert Class take into account his gem and WP increase as well as Dual Hit.

OoC: Unfortunately, Guardian Angel, only takes effect during the next round, so Skrall should be down 25 HP. Also, Duel Strike hits the next available target in the battle order, so I believe instead of hitting the Thug twice, Atramor would have hit the Thug and the Lowlife each once. Additionally, the Tiger Claws WP is doubled against humanoids so he should have done 242 Damage with each strike. Skrall staggeres back from the spear lodged in his shoulder. "Soddin' coward, get yer mug down here and fight." The ogre yanks the spear out and pops open a vial of smelling salts. Feeling the invigorating rush, Skralls aims at the outlaw again from the back row. -
