LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Seasider replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
But which one ? and to what scale ? -
Just bought the instructions. Looks amazing and I’m a big Jap car fan. I’m on my 3rd (a Eunos) having owned an MR2 and a Celica years ago. it looks like you need a second set of wheelarches to avoid the Porsche vent graphics. Which I bought a while ago. would be great to make it in Purple and black but I think purple isn’t available in all the parts. Have you tried any other wheels/tyres on it to get a better fit to the arches?

I hope you're still actually entering it. So what if the functions don't work perfectly. It looks REALLY great. -
Technic 2H2019 Video Reviews
Seasider replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks for the review @Sariel I think I’m trending towards waiting for the new control app to mature and the new hubs to appear on BrickLink. I don’t like the fact we have another new colour and agree with Erik that it’s too sticker heavy -

That looks great. Fingers crossed you get it finished. -
Thats a pretty good rendition of it, the bonnet line and lights are great and love the interior. Do you have any pictures of the mouth ? a very difficult area to capture I think your rear lights are a little off, the definition of them against the red is lost and they look a little small height wise I've got a modified version of @BrickMonkeyMOCs mx-5 as I've got a yellow car But otherwise a great MOC

42110 - Land Rover Defender
Seasider replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Where I live pretty much every farmer has a Landy ... I’m hoping JLR realises above all else that this is what the vehicle is for and driving the Kings Road is a long way down the list of requirements. as to the model I guess we’re a way off official details as yet? -
Technic 2020 Set Discussion
Seasider replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Outside of the US no one cares that much about pickups especially to the extent we may get a licensed model of one. one of the guys at work had a ram and it looked silly next to my MX5! -

Technic 2020 Set Discussion

When I read Blue Bird I think of the Campbells speed record vehicles. There were cars as well as the boat/hydroplane. I’m also hoping the “UCS” car range continues -

Thanks, I was aiming for the colour scheme from the 2019 City Space sets and the Vette Wheelarch seemed perfect for making the top of the console Yes MARS was part of my inspiration. The Martian and Netflix's Lost In Space are 2 others with similar vehicles. Unfortunately Netflix only has Series 1 and I know there's been 3 of them.
