  1. The build looks to be fairly straightforward, and there isn't much SNOT used outside of the wings, so I wouldn't be surprised if a LEGO set turned out to look very similar to this one. And I'm sure Brickdoctor knows how I feel about SNOT wings.
  2. I think the issue is common to all Naboo sets. It was pointed out when we first received hi-res pictures of the planets.
  3. It looks to be fairly simple to do. Increase the wingspan a bit and rebuild the wings such that the 75 slope bricks continue from the engine to the laser cannon.
  4. That's what I've been saying for months, but no one is listening to me because we don't have either a price or a piece count for 10227. Hopefully when one of those numbers are announced (or, better yet, a picture comes along) people will cease such talk.
  5. It's coming along nicely. Have you considered SNOTing the sloping edges on either side of the dorsal fin? I think tiles would look cleaner than stacked 33 slopes.
  6. It probably has something to do with 9494. It could be that he took inspiration from the LEGO video game.
  7. Hello, Primus! I'm glad that you've decided to introduce yourself after so long! Your work is very well known among us SWAFOLs, so allow me to say it is exciting that such a talented individual is a member of these boards. Your models are nothing short of astounding! I remember absolutely falling in love with this when I first saw it on FBTB.
  8. To my knowledge, most of them do not. The only alternate models I know of for which instructions do exist are the 6211 alternate models, the instructions of which can be found in the Eurobricks Q's & A's.
  9. The ARC-170 pilot's helmet doesn't look anything like a B-wing pilot's (assuming we're even getting minifigures with 10227). If it isn't going to be a new mold, the piece they've been using would be the best choice.
  10. An indoor exhibit? They'll build better than this then.
  11. Here it is: Though can't be beat when it comes to Star Wars food puns.
  12. Because I show up everywhere, often with good intentions, and am actually quite useful, but usually end up just being annoying.
  13. There's Brickset, though determining which is most accurate will take some work on your part.
  14. I misunderstood Oky's post, then.
  15. I'll have no doublethink on these boards! Regardless of who Tills was named after, she originally appeared in Sith (which, as far as I know, Filoni played no part in producing) as a male and was portrayed in subsequent canon sources as such. The quote given on Wookieepedia concerning the matter suggests that Filoni retconned this on a whim.
  16. "But, doctor...I am Pagliacci."
  17. Ah, but there has been at least one... and in THE Clone Wars at that.
  18. The poster seems desperate for some feedback on his video, so allow me to say that it could do with a fair bit of reworking. Animation is jerky, the whole thing looks fuzzy, the backgrounds are rather plain, and the maker certainly doesn't sound anywhere near 22.
  19. To answer your first question, I believe they mostly come from special LEGO events (e.g. conventions). Your second question really depends on the MOCer. There are several factors to take into consideration, plagiarism being among the most critical. I've heard many an MOCer express his/her disappointment upon finding their work passed off as someone else's or used without their permission.
  20. Excuse me, Rorschach. I'm informing Laurie ninety seconds ago. I-I'm sorry. It's these tachyons. Anakin's lightsaber appears to be purple in that shot. Strange.
  21. I have to agree. I had a similar idea a while back until I realized that it simply wasn't feasible. 'Comprehensive MOC index'? How comprehensive? Builders of all ages, genres, sizes, audiences? I think you underestimate the scope and extent of the tradition. Not to mention the fact that regulation standards on YouTube and MOCpages are absolutely terrible.
  22. First Fett, now Dengar? Come now, some of us actually liked this book! i Do they intend to turn all cool human background characters into clones? Because that would be ever so boring (as if there aren't enough rogue clones/fallen Jedi in the Expanded Universe already ). @Legoman273: See here.
  23. But for those who are genuinely curious (and why shouldn't they be?) Curtis Saxton discusses the matter at length here.
  24. It's well-established that Star Wars defies most laws of physics.
  25. So it's an issue with the browser, then. Thanks.
