  1. At last, something relatively original! The control rooms and gunner stations are rather large rooms, so it doesn't seem any more likely from my point of view, but it is an interesting proposal. Perhaps if they were to somehow shoehorn an enormous flick-fire missile into it. Yes, that Wild Karrde playset everyone's been wanting. Equally unlikely, but having seen something similar, I think the ship would translate well into LEGO, and it would make a nice subject for an MOC.
  2. The instructions for the Malevolence are on the site Instructions Index. According to this thread, you need the following sets: Now if only someone had a parts list...
  3. Anyone else feel like they're falling out of the loop? I have zero interest in The Old Republic MMO, nor do I have any idea what's going on in THE Clone Wars (or care to know), and now this. Heck, over half the articles on Wookieepedia are full of stuff from the last four years or so that I've never heard of. Maybe I'm just getting paranoid about there being too many kids in the Star Wars subforum again. Eh...
  4. What is this? It sounds like the plot for some second-rate screwball comedy.
  5. As I've said, the uploader doesn't allow hotlinking. You'll have to save those screencaps and reupload them.
  6. Welcome back. It's a generic pilot, as his helmet sports blue crests. The name is Garven Dreis, by the way. One should always respect Red Leader; his X-wing survived the Battle of Yavin - even though he didn't. April of 2010.
  7. Eh, it's nothing new. I wonder if that plate at the far right is supposed to move.
  8. The vehicles are stylized enough as it is, being built in LEGO. Even creations like Jerrec's A-wing have things like studs and places where parts don't perfectly line up that, when comparing the creation with something like an SMT kit, give the former a LEGO-like feel. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's always there.
  9. Printing out the PDF file would probably be cheaper than buying a set off someone else. Instructions for old sets can be surprisingly pricey.
  10. R3 units are unique in that they sport transparent domes, so that can't be it. Then again, astromechs from THE Clone Wars have been given R7 and R8 designations, so it could happen. Wookieepedia suggests that the green droid is currently unnamed.
  11. Correct. We should put this in the first post to save people from having to explain it so many times:
  12. You are aware that the instructions are on The LEGO Group's website? And here?
  13. Beat at my own game, I see. Then again, I don't read into the Prequels nearly as much as I do the Original Trilogy (R3-T6 was where?). That really is an interesting find - though I'm more curious about that red tanklike vehicle in the background of Mos Espa. You may want to edit those pictures out of your post, though - the uploader specifically requests on the page that the pictures not be hotlinked, and it would be a shame if these screencaps were to be removed.
  14. Well, we still don't know what this thing is... In any case, Artizan, I congratulate you on this nice find. However, the page that image is taken from claims that the vaporator featured in Star Wars Insider 36 - it may never have featured in the movie. Perhaps the unidentified tan thing in the above link is lurking in a fan magazine as well... but I digress.
  15. Still waiting for someone to mention this one.
  16. Might these help? (Go to '3501-3600'.)
  17. Whoops. Lando will fix that promptly:
  18. So what is this country that LEGO is so hard to find in?

  19. That thread shouldn't have been too hard to find, seeing as it's the fourth link from the top in the Forum Index. Then again, people post information on availability in the Rumors thread all the time, so it may just be that people don't use the Index.
  20. You want the 'Mosted' Wanted Planet Sets thread. Though I personally don't approve of these kinds of threads. They become awfully redundant after the first dozen pages or so.
  21. I remember having read somewhere that lightsaber dueling was originally choreographed as a cross between broadsword fighting and fencing. Presumably this concept was abandoned for the Prequels (springs are just so much more fun, I guess ).
  22. A happy 36th birthday to our Star Wars Moderator! Happy Birthday, KimT!
  23. The answer to your question is a little farther down the first page of this subforum (though it should have been addressed during the registration process).
  24. Let's not forget "You are in my very soul, tormenting me," or "The oppression of the Sith will never return". Of course, the fanon explanation is that this is how Prequel-era Jedi tend to speak.
