  1. I've never snacked during my Lego building sessions, but recently I became fond of eating vegetable crackers with tomato sauce and my hands weren't greasy at all. I might try that soon.
  2. Don't think you're a lone Asian, Eurobricks is a global site! Surely you have realized Whitefang lives in Singapore, and there's still more members residing in Asia. And just to add on to the list, I'm from Indonesia too.
  3. Another reason for me to celebrate Halloween . Actually I wouldn't mind switching heads with a minifigure
  4. Kind of strange for a company like Airfix to make such a product line. But they probably have a good reason though. I can see that a considerable amount of "kids" have an interest in scale model plane kits, but those things are probably deemed too complex for kids as you need glue (a special kind of glue) and paint. Not to mention the assembling of the kits. I just got into the model planes kit hobby and I have bought 4 planes, 3 failed and 1 perfect one. I can tell you this is hard enough for me let alone the younger kids. These building blocks style way of building can be a good alternative. But as always I'll stay with good old Lego . Out of curiosity though where would you find these kits/sets? Regular toy stores or specialized hobby stores? Personally I prefer Hasegawa's 1/200 scale passenger aircraft kits over Airfix's as they are easier to find where I live and the kits are always of good quality
  5. I think it's about time for Lego to bring back the trains, airport, and construction subthemes. The last time we saw the airport and trains sets was back in 2010 while the construction sets last came out in 2009. On a side note it seems that Lego had released police sets for 4 years in a row: 2011, 2012, 2013, and now 2014. It's really starting to get boring now . I hope that Lego releases some interesting sets in the summer .
  6. Great update on the truck LT! Although I have to comment on the color though. Red and yellow is usually a great combination but they just doesn't fit right to this truck . I'd stay with the original all-yellow paint scheme originally used, just my 2 cents though
  7. This review really made me think twice about buying this set! Unfortunately I'm saving money to buy the Town Hall and to help "fund" my second favorite hobby next to LEGO, model planes . Hopefully I'll be able to buy this next year
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks and hope you have a good time!
  9. My my that is an amazing one! As LT pointed out earlier, the lighting made it a thousand times better . Keep up the good work 'BadLeo'!
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks, hope you have a good time!
  11. Oh, didn't knew about that. I'm not used to converting Euros to USD. Regarding the LEGO movie poster I couldn't find something resembling this set, perhaps should wait for more info like how many floors, what's the main color of the building, etc.
  12. 149 Euros (no Euros key on my keyboard). Is this a prediction or a leaked info. 'vean', whre did you get this? If it is true I wonder how many pieces is included to make the price that high
  13. Just watched Despicable Me 2. Amazingly funny movie and the last part (before credits) was the funniest movie scene I've ever seen.
  14. I thought it was hard enough to choose between the town hall and the cinema, but now this?! Wonder how this will look like, sounds interesting. I think the pics would not be coming soon but maybe around Q3 of 2013. I hope Lego makes a incredibly detailed kitchen and wine cellar .
  15. That's amazing, love to have that in my room! Great work 'MCNwakeboard'
  16. I was already mindblown when I saw the first attempt at YouTube, I couldn't imagine how this one will be made. Good luck!
  17. I did this when watching Iron Man 3, I was deeply dissapointed at Lego. . Although in my opinion the Toy Story sets are better.
  18. I didn't know much about Lego apps. I only know about the Collectable Minifigures app and Lego's official brickfilm app which allows you to make stop-motion brickfilms on your phone.
  19. 3178 seaplane, actually it's not the set that brought me out of my dark age but at that time I was interested in planes and when I saw the 2010 airport lineup I was into Lego again. I first bought the seaplane and slowly buying all the sets in the 2010 airport lineup. Since then I started buying sets from themes like City, Creator, and Friends, building them, and displaying them.
  20. Nice MOC you got there. I love how you managed to incorporate a play feature despite the size. Keep up the good work 'BEAVeR'!
  21. Nice review on a nice mini set! I'd love to get some of these monthly builds but there's no official Lego store in my region
  22. Nice work 'legosamigos'! Is that real or digitally made (LDD or something)?
  23. Well that's one way to make use of all those fruit pieces. Great MOC "ACPin"!
  24. Cuteness overload , anyways nice MOC "ACPin"!
  25. Just saw this topic today. I saw the pics at the beginning of this topic and I just love the welder . Now just waiting for more pictures and see how the rest of the minifigures looks like.
