  1. One thing I do find confusing is the information that should be included in the first post. Should all the sets pictures be there? I've had a problem where putting all the set pictures in the first post slow down the first page, and it barely loads the pictures. But then again, having the pictures there helps reduce people reposting old pictures (which doesn't happen too often). I think we should rather put a link to the Brickset year page for the theme and make it clearly that the pictures are there. Does that sound good?
  2. You're right, I didn't think about that. Heck, we may even get the Ultra Builds then in the states.
  3. If the pics leak, we can get it in October, but we'll most likely see 'em in November.
  4. They're definitely cancelled, unfortunately.
  5. I can see them revealing the set there, but I don't think that's the "new theme". Then again, the quote wasn't directly from LEGO. And, keep in mind at NYCC 2012, they revealed four different sets- the Shellraiser (with an announcement for the TMNT theme), the Daily Bugle, TDKR set, and the Goblin King set (though this was leaked on a post beforehand). Then again, they just showed one set at NYCC 2011- the Batcave, I believe (I could be wrong, I was still in my dark ages at the time).
  6. I'm thinking they'll announce a Jurassic Park D2C set, which will be released earlier than the Jurassic World sets. That, or the announcement of the return of Bionicle.
  7. November, but that should not be taken into consideration, as the DoS wave had a December release date, and this wave has an October release date.
  8. You're totally right.
  9. Yep, and there was no new sets in the latest catalog (as none showed up on the Swiss site).
  10. She corrected herself a day later.
  11. Yeah, the only info she provided was the name, set number, and minifigures.
  12. A lot of people are saying the church outfits are the best, and I don't know why. Sure, it would work with Marge/Lisa/Maggie, but Homer could easily have his Mr. Plow outfit (but I'd imagine they'd just use that in a D2C). I really think they'll do Astronaut Homer, with a new helmet mould. And, Bart can just have a Bartman variation. The church outfits aren't the most exciting when it comes to the target market of the LEGO Minifigure series- kids.
  13. Ah man, it's here.... Lovely review WhiteFang, as usual. I especially love the Wizard's capes.
  14. Which, that rumor must be real, as the set was listed on the Swiss toy shop this week.
  15. One of my friends claims he used this one successfully on a girl: It's as cheesy as how most of these are creepy.
  16. Hey babe, if you still want to check and find that minifigure you're missing from Series 12, it may just be in my pants... maybe you should feel it up first. dear God nobody should ever use these this thread is for humor purposes only.
  17. That is so awesome! Thank you for the nomination! I've actually been working on a stop motion for this challenge, but the production is hard... we'll have to see if I'm ever able to put it out! No worries, I donated a week or two ago.
  18. I don't want to veer too much into speculation like this, but the Episode VII sets are going to quite possibly be the biggest release LEGO has ever put out. Think about it. LEGO is more popular now than they ever were. LEGO Star Wars is their best selling theme. I'm not sure if Star Wars VII is getting more anticipation than the Phantom Menace, but I feel it is. LEGO is going to have to put out at least ten sets. And, Disney and LEGO will go out of their way to make sure NOTHING leaks.
  19. Nice find! The elf set is cute, I like the little soldier build there. Also, there's a new one of those topper sets, with Lord Vampyre and his coffin. I believe the October 6th reveal could be the Slave I or the next modular- the last modular was revealed on October 4th of 2013, actually.
  20. So, that first info was right! I trust you!
  21. Eh, Elves doesn't seem to be a theme LEGO would show off to collectors.
  22. It's most definitely Bionicle, though that isn't new... LEGO NINTENDO SUMMER 2015 Heck, maybe a D2C Jurassic Park set in January to kick off the theme (a la Simpsons). LEGO NINTENDO SUMMER 2015 LEGO NINTENDO SUMMER 2015
  23. I actually like all of them (and those sexy boxes), besides the Ender Dragon set. They look very fun, and it's a breath of fresh air to get a licensed theme with no vehicle-centric sets.
  24. They were from Carlos' photobucket and came out earlier this week. Guess a lot of people didn't see 'em.
  25. Some interesting descriptions from some anon on /toy/, who claims to have seen the catalog:
