Seeing the new Hobbit DoS mini-poster at the Toy Fair, there are seven figures: Oin, Gloin, Fili, Kili, Thorin, Dwalin, Balin (all off of memory, lol)... Maybe I'm overanalyzing this (like I usually do with posters), but I think these are the only Dwarves we'll get in the sets later this year: Gloin/Oin in a Barrel Escape re-release, Fili/Kili in a Mirkwood Spider re-release, and then Balin/Dwalin/Thorin in the rest of the sets. So, we have the two re-releases in the whole wave. I'm guessing there will be four sets, like LOTR this year: Balin/Dwalin in one set, and Thorin and Bilbo in another set.

And, at this point, if there is a wave three, they might be able to cram it into Summer 2013, but most likely it will be Winter 2014. Also, at that point, there would HAVE to be at least one battlepack and something to do with Ents.

I could see where you're coming from. I have to agree, this wave does have less memorable scenes (except maybe The Tower of Orthanc set), but it seems to have a lot more recognizable new characters: like, Arwen, Saruman, Elrond, Gandalf the White, and even the Undead Pirates are recognizable (I tested this yesterday, but that's another story). Oh, and is the Eye Sauron coming in the Black Gate set?

The New York Toyfair is tomorrow. We'll see the sets there. Heck, the final versions of the sets were there last year, so it will be official.

Of the LOTR Summer sets? No doubt about it. On another note, I woke up this morning, and I noticed how much I appreciate the LOTR theme (not the Hobbit theme, though I appreciate that theme too, just not as much as LOTR). The LOTR theme was a love letter from LEGO to all the AFOLs. They knew it may not be a seller to kids, but the made two waves because it is so popular with adults. The movies came out years ago, but they still made the sets. This thought makes me want a third wave so badly, but I hope it isn't going to go in the vein of Harry Potter (one wave in 2010 with around six sets, and a second wave the following year with around three sets and a D2C). The Hobbit theme, on the other hand, seems to be a little more for kids (and I always see kids buying them at Target), and they are newer movies. Just a little thought.

Excellent work, 'Masked Builder'! This is a billion times better than the mini Star Wars sets LEGO has been putting out. I love the removable cockpit!- 27 replies

This listing showed up on eBay in the US, and it is for the 30254 Razcal's Double Crosser polybag. It is the US edition of the polybag, so I wonder which store they got it from. I'm going to check my local Walmart, as I suspect it is from there, and my local Target, as it is common to see two polybags from the same theme there.

Woah, the Stage Coach set looks a lot better than it did in the catalog! Not only is there five figures... the detail is amazing!

This set just makes me wish the Toy Story one had a track...

I got mine in the mail today! I'm surprised, as I have only spent a little less than $700 at the LEGO Store last year. It's an amazing figure, though! I love chrome!

Yea. Speaking of which, the MMV was released in the third year of Castle, while the Joust was released in the third year of Kingdoms. So, let's expect a D2C Castle 2013 set in 2015.

Another project has reached 10,000 supporters on Cuusoo today! It's the second Legend of Zelda project! What are the chances of this passing review? If it does, will you buy it? Personally, I would buy it in a heart beat, but I'm not sure if this one will pass. The detail in Link is very high. -

I just noticed this, but is Gandalf Arrives a discontinued set? It was removed last week from S@H, and I haven't seen it anywhere lately.
