I subbed! Even though I don't really care for Technic... It's all about how you present your videos. Thumbnails, tags, and the description does matter. So does how you interact with your fans. I can't reveal my, uh, secrets, but trust me. I can see you're very passionate about your content, so that is definitely a step in the right direction.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
just2good replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
It will be, in July. -
I got that Jungle Accessory set! This set has some nice pieces, but geez, the $15 price tag in the US is pretty bad.
-
That seems the most likely. They haven't show up on any sites yet, and City Trains sets are always TRU exclusives. It's just that the 2010 Trains were also exclusives and we got two more promotional sets that summer for TRU- the TRU Truck and the Public Transport set. And, we still had the two other exclusives that we'd expect for Walmart and Target- the Helicopter and Limo, and Family Home respectively.
-
Not yet. I'm just sad we're probably not going to get a Toys"R"Us exclusive this year unrelated to current City subthemes, like last year's Town Square, or 2012's Garage, or 2011's Cargo Train or 2010's Public Transport...

Aw, I was hoping Joe Cornish would take over. Attack The Block was so good, and he's already working on the movie. Anywho, I'm not totally against the new director. Unlike many, I liked Yes Man and the Weird Al Show is a really... interesting... show, so I'm okay. I am very excited it will be a heist film, though.

We're definitely not getting sets this year for it, as we know just about every set coming out this year.

Got around to building the Milano... here is the review and some pics! Great set! I love the design of the Milano, and the minifigures are amazing. Not only are four out of the five exclusive, but Drax is one of the most detailed minifigures I've ever seen. The major downside is the US price, which is $75 for 665 pieces. The villain's ship is pretty weak, but it's not the main part of the set, so I don't mind it.

Bow down before your newest overlord: Bob De Quatre
just2good replied to Si-MOCs's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Congrats Bob! You'll make a great mod, I'm sure of it! -
It's not being marketed as a Marvel film, though.

LEGO Minecraft (Minfigure Scale) 2014 Rumors and Discussion
just2good replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Where did you find this one? It looks pretty mediocre. After I really enjoyed the last two we saw, I was expecting this one to kick some butt. Oh well. -
I disagree. As an owner of the old one, it's extremely flimsy. I also like how the inside roof serves as a platform in this version.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
just2good replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Someone on Brickset Forums says that he heard the next modular will be a detective building, and the info came from a LEGO employee. But, as he says, this rumor should be taken as a grain of salt. I'm always optimistic with rumors, and this would make such a cool modular! -
Yeah, that's what I mean, but I should have stated that. Though, keep in mind that Lex's mould was used in Series 7 first. It goes that if a set using that mould is coming that year, promos and D2Cs can use a new mould that isn't unique. The only time this didn't happen was with the BR LEGO promobag. That was weird.

Nah, as he has a new mould. Promos like SDCC and polybags never really use new moulds.

I mean, there hasn't been any new Hobbit sets for eight months and the last wave didn't seem to sell very well, and there hasn't been any new LOTR for a year, so...

Gosh darn it, wouldn't that be an awesome exclusive. Trans-clear on minifigures is extremely uncommon, so I'm sure people while be even more ticked. I wonder if they'll give her a trans-clear hairpiece, too. Probably would run for $1000 each.

I got around to reviewing and building The Knowhere Escape Mission GotG set! - Sorry about the lighting in this one, the width and height made it hard to take this picture. Overall, this set is a very good set for the minifigures and pieces alone. You get the awesome Rocket Raccoon, and the very detailed Nebula; the miniature figure of Groot is pretty fun and poseable, albeit a bit thin on the arms. The price is excellent as well, and is below the PPP ratio. The playset build, however, is pretty week and not very exciting.

Another nice review is up by SilentMode- the Jungle Tree Sanctuary!

Thanks, Sarah! I'm still on the fence about the Bike Shop. I love the Creator houses, but I'm not sure if this will fit with the others I have.

You mean Ned and Homer? Anywho, I was amazed to see that the LEGO The Simpsons CMFs are not the top seller on S@H anymore- it is now Ghostbusters. But, upon closer realization, it's because it is OUT OF STOCK and will stock again in 30 days! It's so awesome that these keep selling out as that means they're really popular!
-
It's selling like hot cakes (along with the Construct-O-Mech, but oddly enough the Police Dropship isn't selling as well as the other two from what I've seen), so I'm sure it will be around for a while.

Would The LEGO Movie Batwing UCS transform into that awesome Batmobile found before they got into Cloud Cuckoo? If it does, I'm sold! But, I had a thought... What if it's a Tumbler, a Batwing, and the Batmobile found on the Batman poster? Keep in mind, this UCS set is priced at $200. The Batmobile on the poster looks cheap, and the Batwing in the LEGO Movie would make like a $70 set. It could be multiple UCS models! Wouldn't that be cool? It'd be like the TIE Collection from 2004...

It seems like it's just the Architecture Studio reissued $10 more expensive.
