  1. What the what? That's amazing. I'll post more detailed comments later as I'm at work right now, but I love you. In the meantime, I will just give you a Fabuland Builders Tag and add you as a member in the index. Awesome job! Thanks for contributing and welcome to the Guild.
  2. LEGO toys, not just for un-conjoined twins anymore!
  3. I see a lot of people stopping by to check, so I'll let you all off of the hook. Role confirmations will go out by PM in about 8 hours. I'm at work, but if I can remember exactly who is playing, I'll post a list in the first post of this thread. I think out of everyone who signed up, only three are on the reserve list. The rest of you are playing. It's a lot of people to play one game, but I'm hoping I have a good setup for that number. I know the smaller games have been running smoother and larger games can be frustrating, but we're going to give a big game a shot! And hope it works out.
  4. Thanks I Scream Clone and Eskallon for your interest in the game. Sorry it didn't work out this turn, Josh. Next one for sure! I can guarantee there will be one person who will be very happy you agreed to wait this one out. Eskallon, thanks for getting back to me. Glad you're able to play this time. It'll be fun!
  5. Signup is now closed. I have expanded the format to accept 28 players. That means everyone who signed up that is eligible will participate as a player or an alternate. Roles are being assigned but I can't complete anything until I hear responses from I Scream Clone and Eskallon. I want to make this fair to everyone, so if I don't hear from either of them by the morning (8 hours from now) I will move forward without them.
  6. Also, I blogged it on Classic-Town.net
  7. By the way, I blogged it on Classic-Town.net
  8. I can't say enough positive things about this creation cimddwc. So, instead of gushing on and on here, I just blogged it on Classic-Town.net
  9. Nice job, dude. You have a knack for creating realistic vehicles and packing in lots of detail. After seeing Lasse D's first it's cool to see how much of the detail still comes through in your minifig-scale version. You're really good at what you do. Every part seems in the right place here. Great work, Ricey! Thanks for sharing it with us.
  10. Lasse D, I'm always impressed with your work. This is, of course, no exception. I could stare at either one of the cars for hours. They're so smooth and sleek. You have a unique style and you do it so well. The video blows my mind. Where do all of these trucks keep coming from? I have to admit when it switches over to "hand power" I got a little chuckle. I assume you are using power functions. Or is that the RC motor and chassis? I enjoy watching the video mostly because you can see your joy in "playing" with what you've built. It's nice to see people take their hobby seriously but have a good time too. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us. Excellent job!
  11. Wow! Another excellent job, Rick! Go Fabuland vehicles! Go Fabuland Builders Guild. Are we back on fire again? I would prefer to see a Fabuland classic car roof on this one. But the rest of it is near perfect. The mudguards seem a little too angular to me as well, but that's just nit-picking now. The front grill and car doors are so clever and I really love how functional the hook is. Really great work. So glad to have momentum in the guild. Hey...there's no room for your FBG tag...
  12. It's a full week that you're gone though. I can only let you play if you can guarantee me you'd have internet access. There will be another opportunity. It doesn't have to end at 3. There could certainly be a Baritones 4.
  13. You have 7 hours to decide.
  14. Sandy, you have an awesome eye for design.
  15. I'll close this thread in about 12 hours and then start assigning roles. I would expect the confirmation thread by Tuesday at the latest, and then Day One will be up on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm excited.
  16. This is brilliant! I'm really glad you could be sweet-talked. I really like the roof and the interior. The roof is especially clever and very suited to the setting. What's even more impressive is that you did your research. Your creation has the obligatory frog and the Fabuland edge. Excellent work. I like the SNOTted landscape as well. Very nice river bank. I'm impressed at how quickly you created something so beautiful. Great work and thanks for sharing it with us.
  17. I am so impressed with this that I blogged it.
  18. Ooops. Sorry. Yup!
  19. So, at ComicCon this year, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the premier of LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not only did I enjoy the movie, we were all given a free pop, popcorn and candy. For a "premiere" it was very laid back, but still exciting to be part of something like that. Granted, not a lot of people had heard about the movie and it was only 24 hours away from being played on Cartoon Network, but it was still cool. They gave us all a free Exclusive Ian fig, which the way it is packaged in a blister pack, makes it clear that it will be packaged with the DVD when it is released in September. Then when you see pics of the DVD packaging, it becomes even more obvious. Anyway, here's Ian: They gave us a free poster too. I forgot to photograph that and it's past my bedtime, but I'll get to it. There's a cool rendered LEGO Rancor in it. It features in the movie as well. I would love to see that mold be released in ABS! I doubt a cartoon about the LEGO versions of the characters needs to be taken so seriously. You put it better than I did. It goes on sale in September. Don't be a troll.
  20. Do you mean in addition to the ones linked to and posted in post #24 of this thread?
  21. Yeah, they're interchangeable, right? I actually think that might be average. Maybe I'm over-shooting it a bit...
  22. I would imagine that is a lampholder. As for the banjo, it probably is a sticker. However, they are decorating more elements than just minifigs. A lot of the recent Cars stuff uses all printed elements. Even some of the packages and letters in this set are decorated tiles...
  23. Yes, this is the first time and I am very excited about that piece.
  24. It depends on you reading the first post before posting anything. You clearly haven't done so. Either way, it would be a no. Sorry. We need dedicated players who pay attention. Look for the next Mafia School signup, hopefully happening soon. Incorrect grammar and punctuation will cause the unlikely death of your character.
  25. See? There's a good guy. I saw it with an audience of adults and everybody gasped when that happened. It was brilliantly written and the surprise is so ... for lack of a better word ... cute! So, I will ban the next person who gives it away. But, seriously. Giving away the ending sucks.
