Man... Now thats SET materials... I would gladly pay 100€ (130$) for a set like this even with only 1 minifigure Wish youd count how many pieces are inside that AND the whole instructions for the build :P really amazing applause for you Brick Vader!

@scottjs What we can expect for Hobbit weave 2 HIGHLY depends if LEGO changed plans or not... If LEGO did not change plans (and still is producing liek it was 2 movies) then we can almost 100% expect Smaug and Laketown and Battle of the 5 armies (with another lame eagle) and ofc Beorn.... If they changed I expect no Smaug but only Beorn and some other sets.... Possibly the biggest might be Battle for Dol-Guldur...

Ofcourse buy it for 44€ thats amazing... Darth Malgus figure alone goes for 12-16€ As a matter of fact I am looking for someone to sell me Darth Malgus for around 13€ (with lightsaber) including shipping :P

Hard to say... It all depends if LEGO managed to reverse their plans on 2 movies or not... if not we might see some 3rd movie locations (like we did in line 1) but if we assume they reversed and changed plans I expect to see atleast 1. Beorn 2. king Thraundil hard to say what sets since we got barrel escape and spiders... not much more of action running around until the battle of the five armies unless we will get attack on Dol Guldur....

Its retired online but local shops might still have it but they will not order anymore (nor they can) the supply is outside and none are in LEGO warehouses.

I agree with that play sets are fine, but it will be impossible to connect them maybe if they make Grond+gates and then simialr to uruk hai army white wall+ soldiers/orcs/catapults

Do you know a good way to put those banners on Uruks on a lance? Cos i cannot think of a good way to do such banner on lance to be carried by a figure.

Now that MOC posted by Yooha is 10 times better (thought still too much black :P but thats easily fixable for LEGO) and I would love such SET. and Yooha yes the City is actually made out of the mountain... As for the polybags... I hope we get Orc if not anything Gondor related....

Constructive criticism? I am sorry but if you NEED constructive criticism whats wrong with that project this is ridiculous... if you have enough common sense as to check the project version and how it looks you have all the constructive criticism on the picture made in your head. saying its great is a lie, you can claim that Minas Tirith is better than nothing but thats about it... I still wish it never is made, and if it is made I hope its made in the size of the architecture sets you know those small sets representing buildings across the world ... Make it in that version and ill be happy. LEGO LOTR is what brought me back to LEGO after all those years of Wild West theme. It was finally a line I would love to buy and put on display. I love Gondor most of all things in LOTR so I want it to be done right not half-assed ... Sorry if my standards are way above yours or Nujos project ones but so it is and it will not change. Good then lets start asking them to make Minas Tirith architecture set, that would be great actually not this .......

No bias my friend... now compare Movie Minas Tirith and Movie Helm's Deep and see how much bigger Minas Tirith has to be to be LEGO comparable... 3-4 times bigger and taller... Its taller than Orthanc, only Barad-dur can match its size and maybe Minas Morgul(Ithil) Lets just face it Project on that website is doing Minas Tirith INJUSTICE end of discussion, it would be a shame if such a lame Minas Tirith is released where THE CATAPULT is like as tall as 1/3 of Minas Tirith (or fourth) You're trying to defend Minas Tirith on the project like its yours, Its a lame design just as lame as Mines of Moria and Goblin king battle was/is Minas Tirith is probably the most recognized structure in ROTK and you would have it built like that guy in there? Congratulation Helm's Deep is done small scale aswell, but it still has the fort feeling and while no rock backing it was done ok, except for the main hall missing..... or built in the back where it should not be built. But when i look on my LEGO Helm's deep I still see Helm's Deep and all important aspects (tower with horn, deeping wall, 2nd wall, where Theoden stood, the wooden stuff above the gates, the ''bridge'' the hidden gates... Minas Tirith is A CITY CITY CITY, and you want a city built with no house apperently if you support that project .... it has SEVEN lvls (or 5 in movie) probably hundreds of thousand homes, houses of healing, tombs for kings, Hall of Kings, library, WHITE TOWER with rooms inside for palantir .... it has multiple trebuchets it has gates TRIPLE the size of Helm's Deep ones, it has a statue when you come in and a HUGE place, it has inns, market, stables, Its ap retty much full functioning CITY with tons of defense and walls, and you support such a magnificent City/citadel to be REDUCED to 3000 or 4000 pieces? No thanks I do not wish that EVER Hence I am strongly hoping we never get FULL Minas Tirith, simple as that,

The problem is old 1990s sets (Castle) look better than thise new 2013 ones Thats the thing. I mean lets just look on in my opinion top 3-5 LEGO Castles of ALL TIME. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091227123760/lego/images/b/b1/6086_Black_Knight's_Castle.jpg This set, even today, compared to all castles easily takes a spot in my heart, and in my opinion is only parried by Helm's Deep details and maybe Kingdoms Castle... everything else looked sub-par in terms of details, unique pieces and so on and on. I got it when i had high fever and I was like 5 or 6 years old... loved it and love it still and thats not because of nostalgic feeling but because even for todays standards the Castle (not to even start talking about figure count) is simply OUTSTANDING. even with using relatively big pieces/parts to make walls it just looks amazing.

Problem is They need to scale Minas Tirith to helm's Deep/Orthanc/Black Gates which means Minas Tirith has to be about 1,5-2x size of Orthanc Tower which is like 70cm??? So In order for Minas Tirith to even REMOTELY look like it should even compared to minifig size it should be about 100-115cm tall minimum(top of the white tower that is) It would be absolutely HORRID if Minas Tirith is not TALLER than Orthanc.... Black Gates so far are the worst when we talk about those problems , oh an ofcourse the Weathertop, but ok we can imagine weathertop being only the upper part of the once mighty tower and it passes ok. Houses of healing, inns, each wall lvl had its own garrison with stationed troops, and all these people need to sleep somewhere ... I am sure they had library (possible multiples) and tons of other stuff... Minas Tirith is not passable exactly because of its size... Everyone is entitled to his own opinion and me as a LEGO and LOTR fan say I rather get NO Minas Tirith as a whole) than to get a dumbed down version that does the beautiful White City injustice.... Anything smaller than Orthanc would make it injustice btw.

Look if you cannot see why that Minas Tirith is waste of a set I really dont feel like explaining it to you... but seriously maybe check this image http://images4.wikia...inas_Tirith.jpg then compare it to Minas Tirith in that project and then check how much better LEGO Helm's Deep resembles ACTUAL helm's Deep in movie and how LAME does the project resembles Minas Tirith... the size of the wall lvls are completely disproprotionate to the size of the set and it looks like a giant mountain stronghold rather than the Citadel seen in the movie (or picture) and i am yet to start explaining how Trebuchets actually look like they are SO LARGE compared to city size and there is tons more... Remember this is NOT a FORTRESS, this is a CITY! White City, without 1 building for its people? Clearly does not do ANY justice to the set. its tons more to say but I do not wish to explain it all to everyone, but anyone reading books and seeing Movies and checking City will see that this is just ugly recreation (yet still probably best from LEGO) of Minas Tirith that actually mocks the City... now here is how the City should look... http://images.wikia...._der_Könige.jpg Now put it in LEGO vision and divide it in 3 x 250$ set and VOILA you do the city justice The City has to be atleast 1,5x Orthanc SIZE... more like 2x if i remember correctly.

I rather have no Minas Tirith than a lame Minas Tirith... Love the city too much to watch its potential be wasted.... give us only 1st lvl of wall and Grond with siege tower etc.... and ill be happy rather have that, than have a failed minas tirith like on that project. Kids dont need 200$ or more sets afterall... any set with 150$ or higher is aimed for adult LEGO fans more than ever... you think parents will run to shop to Buy their kids Orthanc? no way... See I dont have much cash i could barely afford sets, but when I buy LEGO I want to buy them because they are amazing... If you make a 250$ or 300$ LEGO set its not for kids... you think every kid who gets 30$ LEGO set will also get minas Tirith for 250$ ??? I dont know any parent who bought their kid DEATH STAR

This would be a waste... the project looks crap compared to Minas Tirith. I rather they give us by the technic pins sets 3+ sets to build 1 Minas Tirith.
