  1. Why is Luna Lovegood in a set that is depicting a scene from the second book and movie? Especially a scene she wasn't even in (we didn't even know she was a character until the 5th book). Talk about inaccuracy there. -Omi
  2. Correction: BrickFest is in Portland, Oregon BrickFair is in Washington DC BrickCon is in Seattle, Washington -Omi
  3. Yanno not everything made in China is bad. -Omi
  4. Interesting use of the tiles. Overall I like it. -Omi
  5. Notice how these things are posted in entries. -Omi
  6. That's a clone brick actually. -Omi
  7. I guess you never collected Gashapon figures. Or Pokemon cards. Or Mcdonalds promos. -Omi
  8. Do you not understand the concept of collectible? -Omi
  9. Someone look for a large influx of sets on Bricklink. ;) -Omi
  10. There was an image at the same time the playset images came out. Though Keetongu was more finalized on the box. -Omi
  11. Oh no there was also a Keetongu set as well. Otherwise people wouldn't have been excited over a huge Keetongu and a smaller Keetongu when the images came out years ago. -Omi
  12. According to Greg Farshtey, Lego tends to stay away from video game licenses, due to the extreme marketing and competition that comes with it. This is why you don't see Lego Halo. And this is why we won't see Lego Mario or Zelda. And no Lego cannot make KH Lego as the non-Disney characters are not owned by Disney and are strictly copyright of Square Enix. They can make Mickey, but not Sora. Anyways I'd like to see a Castle-esque theme that involves the Disney Princesses/Princes with the Villains. Like the castle in Sleeping Beauty covered in thorns with Maleficent and a sleeping Aurora. -Omi
  13. The reason it was misconstrued as a Lego gun is because the principal saw the kid play with a gun with a Lego fig, and therefore went with the assumption that it was a Lego gun. It isn't the author's fault for using the term "Lego gun" when the parents and teachers are saying "Lego gun". -Omi
  14. That huge Visorak thing is actually a Kahgarak, which come in a variety of sizes Yes I do with every chance I get. It is how I get the ladies. -Omi
  15. No worries. Just wanted a clarification since it caught my attention. Sorry for bring this whole situation up. :P -Omi
  16. If you are referring to the events of 9/11, that has nothing to do with Iraq. -Omi
  17. My concern is the members being automatically labeled as likely immature and suddenly watched right from the get go. -Omi
  18. Talking about members that you know beforehand that are young and then join EB. Or later learn they are young when they still don't admit. -Omi
  19. All the young members lied. :P Which to go back to what Siegfried said: Even though he said this when you admit your age, but if everyone knows you are underage without admitting. For example, SirNadroj is a young member. He is a member of this site. Whether or not he admitted to his real age is out the question but in terms of joining he lied. Does this now place him in the "likely immature" category? I just don't see how a member who admits their age suddenly gets watched while those you know who are young (and don't admit) aren't watched and automatically labeled likely immature. -Omi
  20. But it all goes back to what Siegfried said about "lying". -Omi
  21. I know. It is no different than it was 15 years ago (Live in America btw) when I was in school. And its not much 9/11 aspect, its more of the Columbine shootings that people are touchy when you have the word "gun" and "school" in the same sentence. -Omi
  22. He was assembling a full scale handgun made out of Lego. That is something to take serious with when you see that from a distance. -Omi
  23. It was like that when I was in elementary school, and that was over 15 years ago. -Omi
  24. Question in regards to this. Wouldn't it still be lying even if they didn't mention they are underage? Suppose you knew me before I joined EB and knew I was under 18 (Lets say I am 16 for sake of argument). Now knowing that I am 16 you see me join EB but I don't tell anyone that I am 16 even though it is made clear beforehand on sites like Flickr or some other Lego forum. However I happen to be a great MOCer and a good member so you keep me here anyways. I don't see how revealing your real age is where you start laying down the warnings and bannings when you already lied by joining. -Omi
  25. He wasn't suspended. Wasn't a clone brick toy either. Looks more of a GI Joe type gun. -Omi
