Right, so you reply to his reply to my Staff Answer to his question? *Ponders for a moment* I will repeat: Any MOC based on a TV show, book, video game, film, comic, website, manga, anime, cartoon, flash game, console, music act, theatre show, musical, play, poem or rock group that has not been previously licensed by The Lego Group and is not planned to be so in the future as far as we know, it goes into Special or the subtheme it most obviously belongs. For example, say I have created a Blade Runner MOC, as a Sci Fi film, it goes into Sci Fi but if I created say, a MOC based off Twister, I would post it in Special. A Pokemon MOC? Special, a MOC of something from Avatar The Last Airbender? Licensed. Phineas and Ferb, not being licensed by TLG to make sets, the MOCs based on it would belong in Special themes. Remember, use your better judgement on a MOC and ask here if you are not sure.

Well Dino 2010 had the story of dinosaurs mutated FOR SCIENCE! escaping and runnon amok while the team tried to capture them. Attack was similar, just swap capture to Bring 'em down! Adventurers Dino Island was something along the lines of they had discovered some sort of island with lots of dinosaurs on and FOR SCIENCE! they tried to catch/observe and prevent the baddies capturing them for use in evil schemes. I expect some sort of similar lines coming here, just more developed story wise as is the current trend.

The Mabinogion. (read free online!) I realised, I have read many a myth, legend and fantasy yarn but was yet to dip into the epic stories of my native land. If you enjoy Aurthurian legend and tales of knights, 40 pages in and I still haven't been disappointed! Take a look, after all it is free online thanks to Project Gutenberg.

We should really run now as anything we do will not save this field and we risk doom to contiue. Wait for the trades or go look for a complete list of essentials that are out there on the 'net somewhere. Truth be told I haven't bought anything to do with that for ages due to the reboot this month. Heh, from this week there will be brand new issue 1 for each and every so it's a great time to start but a terrible time if you liked the old way. As of the new DCU I will be getting Black Hawks and soon the brand new Earth 2 JSA.

Was it too noticeable that I was posting from my Android these past few days? I went to London for a long weekend away and I was too busy to really get online. I did come in and ensure I posted if there was a new development. On the subject of development, does anyone else have long term character goals beyond 'bash stuff, get exp and items.' I have a few on the scribblepad...

Tesni gripped Cryf tightly. "I will attack from the front row." She tensed for the coming fight.

Tesni smiled and hefted Cryf. "I have no prefered location. Our party leader can decide."

The bloodrush screamed through her body, threatening to overwhelm sense and reason. Placing Cryf Point down at the ground and standing straight, Tesni let out a huge breath, calming herself like the priestess had taugh. Cryf seemed to nearly glow with boosted power. "That battle was quick... The apple was good. I am glad to win this fight friends. Thank you for the potion Docken"

The best way to get better at building and MOCing is to test the limits of every Lego part. Find unusual ways to combine parts, don't be afraid of the MOC exploding just learn the lesson when it does! Whatever parts you own, there is quite likely more ways to build with them than you think. Experiment with techniques and see what happens. If it doesn't go as planned, take it apart and try again. The more ways you know how to build, the more likely you can create the ideas in your head.
