  1. Tesni dumped the contents of a Pheonix Essence into Cronk's mouth. Then smiling sweetly she turned to face the chaos beast. "Sasha, lets try a repeat of our earlier success eh?" (Do I get to attack as well as heal him? I forget...)
  2. Tesni grinned, "Ok Sasha, lets wittle this beast down with a few more blows eh?" Tesni and her new barbarian comrade both attacked the beast from the front row.
  3. "As glad as I am to see the desert helped harden your backbone oh mighty leader, less gabbin' and more stabbin'!" Tesni grinned wryly and thrust her blade towards the beast. "It's a good job that all this caterwauling on the battlefield doesn't put us at a disadvantage eh, my faceless friend?"
  4. Yes, this has been discussed in plenty of sections of the forum NinjaGo 2012 has the bulk of it, some of the contents in 2013. I'll just lock this now ok?
  5. "By the GODS! Shout your flappy faces and fight!" Tesni shouted angrily as her sword whirled in battle.
  6. "Well, looks like someone is making it hard to be defeated. Dryw, come and help me tame this beast of Chaos eh?" Tesni drew her diamond pommeled blade, it gleamed in the sparse light. "Well Chaos Beast, fall at my feet!" She charged from the front row.
  7. Lionel had decided it was time to get a new car. His old orange muscle car was a bit cubbish for him these days. When this classic Guma Tri-power was advertised in the local paper he just knew it was the motor for him! So, this was a pain to build, if you notice the front and back ends are four studs wide between the running plates and fenders but three studs wide for the engine, cab and back box. It took every technique and trick I could think of to build in not only my desired detail but to also fit the figure in, all the while keeping it in a smaller wheelbase size. This is the resulting build, while slightly more studed than I like best, I think it helps it maintain a more vintage LEGO aesthetic to match the theme age. The colour scheme is one I always think smart, so do not be surprised if Jake Raines or Johnny Thunder turn up in a similar car some time in the future!
  8. Awesome Thanks for the pic, I am waiting for the Christmas book sales to get my own copy. The 2013 wave will be one to look forward too if that minifig is anything to go by!
  9. A few little tweaks here and there to Tesni's story. The sort of natural progression from unsure to sure about yourself sort of things.
  10. Tesni listened to the tale. "Aye, she said as much to me. I fought in Haddon you see."
  11. You have my sword. Huzzah! Onwards warriors!
  12. It all depends on the battle I guess. We have a long while to wait. Endgame, who said I wasn't going to get that quicker? The fields are a nice place to try for it!
  13. Tesni the paragon anyone?
  14. Why complain? this guy looks like a good bin to dump our rubbish on!
  15. "Humph, you misunderstand me creature, I wanted you to tell me where that fragment lay, I am assuming when we free it you will be sent to ther otherland. But you did answer my question..." Tesni glowered. On hearing the deal, Tesni rummaged in her pack. "For the soul of a barbarian? My Wooden Club, A Mead, two bones and an old boot. How about a chain? Ghouls like chains to rattle after all..." She counted out the items, that is 6, added to Sir Cronk's offering that gives us a dozen. Eight more to go folks."
  16. "Haldor, shouldn't we ask more of our defeated enemy? Maybe he can tell us more."
  17. Er... I'll have to look into the receipts... which are possibly at home? Someone else might be better placed for that...
  18. The PaB changes often and works by weight. I was there in May, so prices and selection might have changed... As for BaM (Build a Mini) there was a great selection of older series CMF parts to choose from and some other figure parts too. It's a huge shop and full of great sets and merch. Have fun when you are down there and certainly get a ride on the Polar Coaster
  19. "Sweet. Good shots guys..." Tesni grinned. "So priest, isn't clinging to life a poor regard for the light of Ennoc? Sir Cronk here seems to be a pretty good example of what it means to embrace Ennoc. So, are you going to cling on to this plane or can we go ahead and release the power of Ennoc and return it to him?"
  20. Tesni hollered with frusration and prepared to attack whichever of their foes were injured by the bomb.
  21. I may just need to buy a box... Also, might I mention all the GIRL POWAH going on here? Alien Queens? Sporting Skier and a cowgirl Rodeo Queen? Awesome!
  22. They are certainly a little larger, their heads and hight and also their feet. width wise they cover two studs like a minifig but everywhere else is longer.
  23. "Yeah, smelling salts... Really should have bought some of those." Tesni groaned, she had been in a hurry to get from the fields to her next quest. Shrugging it off, she aimed at a priest. "What I wouldn't give for a light bomb... Priest H, lets see if you are solid enough for a hit!"
  24. Ahem Nerd On - Tha Flail, or Morning Star, is a vastly different weapon to the Mace, not only in method in wielding but also in useage. The mace was a weapon used to damage armour (The first weapon of a Knight was his ability to move around, damage an articulation point or impeded his movement in any way = dead man) and cause internal damage from a heavy hit. Because they did not actually cause external bleeding Priests would use them in battle. In fact priests developed the mace so they could fight. It could be blocked by a shield and had a job getting around to cause damage, it was for much closer combat. The Flail on the other hand is a chain weapon, a heavy iron ball or balls on the end of about a foot or so of chain attatched to a handle. They were developed from a threshing implement. While it can be used in a simlar manner to a mace, the flexible length of chain would allow range over closer cambat. It could get behind a shield and even to more unarmoured areas of the body such over the back of an enemy. It would also catch and tangle on enemy weapons and shields, then you could disarm your opponent and take away the shield. On the other hand, you could get caught up in the enemy's weapon and be at disadvantage yourself. It took skill to weild as you could wallop yourself by accident (As many an aspiring Bruce Lee finds with a more oriental weapon). The Morningstar was a varietion, this time the iron balls had spikes up to an inch long to cause even more damage. Maces and clubs are different: Clubs spread more area in the power of a hit, *(like drumming with the flat of your hand). A mace focused the force in the head, *(compare using drumsticks). Nerd Off- (Please note no online or offline encyclopedias were used during this entire post. I just know this stuff. Thou hast been warned Also I got to weild some of these IRL on Monday...)
  25. "You are a better example of those who follow Ennoc Sir Cronk but most I have heard of..."
