Stick it under a lamp or in the sunlight a while, glow-in-the-dark things need to "charge" in UV to work. In a box they don't get any light so right out they will not work! -

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Kid friendly and mature co-exist fine. It is a problem with films but kids have to learn that its not all for them, same way my kid siblings get to read Tiny Titans but can't go near my TPB of Teen Titans. -
Bootleg and clone are two seperate things. Now, can we all stay civil or will we the staff use this as our go to place to find those unsuitable for membership?

Too bad you fried dough ring that cartoon. What's the problem guys? They've been marketing Marvel at kids in cartoons for years. When I was a kid I got a Saturday morning block called Marvel Action Hour and watched X-Men, Silver Surfer, Incredible Hulk and Spiderman with my dad. These days there's a superhero squad and there are always comics targeted at kids. Maturity levels are certainly evident in this thread. There is no evident dumbing down, just an attempt to win a new audience. -
Since I became staff I have kinda stepped back from reviewing sets. That and my source for sets is now eBay where I am less impulsive. As it stands I have a big comparison on minifig accessories lined up and that's all. Feel free to fire off those reviews!

"Right you are cariad! I'll target the Earth Monster from the back row for now!" Xut Eric Namyrra Tesni Bocaj -
In the beginning Hillary Page made the Automatic Binding Brick, in old imperial measurements he sold it through his Kiddicraft "Sensible Toys". He did not meet with huge success but when the UK company he purchased his plastic molding machine through sent their machine to a company called "Lego" they sent some samples of what could be done. Modifications to metric measures on the brick later and the LEGO brick was born. Things get complicated and a bit confusing (also a little sordid, from a certain perspective, at times) but needless to say the company beat out all competition until recently where in all courts TLG have been persuing have come back with the verdict that they no longer hold patent on the stud and tube bricks. Hence KreO being made and sold without issue. As for fan hate, it happens. Ship to ship, show to show, movie fans and music fans... Every rabid fandom has what it hates for whatever reason. That's what people are like. In all things of life I like a little of everything so I like to use clones for parts for figures.

For real? I mean I didn't get the nickname Queen of the Clone Brands from nowhere! The index is not up to date, I'll have to go in and smarten it up at some point but there are plenty of things in there.

"I mean, we can be a problem. A berserker, a raider and a summoner complete with grumpy self rightous cleric? Sounds like a bad joke right? Did I mention that, well you may have noticed my lovely lady friend here is very good with all the elements." Tesni kept casual but was once more drawing into an intimidating posture.
