Tesni smiled at the gleaming opal, it would do nicely on Mellt. She heard talk of vampires but the world was made up of all folks so she didn't engage. Drinking a draught of beer was more up her ally.

Ice ice baby... Now, what to combine it with? Do I look for another hammer or stick it to a mace or blade?
-
Having concluded her business at the market, Tesni strode proudly into the hall and returned to her friends. "Behold!" She cried "Mellt the warhammer of lightning!" she hefted the hammer as sparks ran up the shaft and embraced the heavy head. After a moment of held pose she grinned hugely and returned it to the straps slung across her back. Then from the scabbard beside it she pulled Dryw out, sunlight arced along the blade leaving something reminiscent of a halo around the tip. "Dryw has been improved with a diamond. A lighter twin for Cysgodion." She placed the blade home and sat back at the table.
-
Tesni entered the bustling marketplace and found the sales board. Tacking a piece of parchment to it she nodded her satisfaction. Then she visited Anwyl. "Ave smithy, might I trouble you to add some gemstones to my weapons. I would like to combine this Topaz with my hammer." She removed both items, "Also, my blade with this diamond." Tesni drew dryw and placed the diamond alongside it. "That will be 100 gold yes? Which leaves me 655 gold from my total of 755." Tesni browsed the marketplace as the items she left were smithed. Upon her return two mighty weapons awaited her. The hammer crakcled with lightning energy and Dryw had taken on a celestial sheen. "Much appreciated." Tesni bowed to the smith and returned to the hall. It was time to introduce her weapons to her friends.

"More's the pity, that chap seemed interesting to observe at least. I have signed up to return to Haddon. Wren is a mystery I have to solve..." "So it seems. I must have built quite the reputation up despite being away from the hall so often!" "You are quite brave to be so impertinent. I do not believe we have met or if we have it must have only been briefly." She patted her pocket. "I can keep in mind that you wish to purchase the gem, however someone might make a better offer with ready gold." She smiled the kind of smile that premordial beings had learned to fear. "I have to keep my options open, this adventuring business is costly you know. Do return when you have the coin and see if I am yet to sell this bauble." Tesni excused herself from the table, she had business to attend to at the marketplace.
-
Tesni pocketed the gold from Namyrra as plans for her weapons upgrades danced in her head. Alexis joined her table, she seemed to be slightly off. "Ave Alexis, I am fine and ready to be off once more. Yourself?"
-
"Fair point Boomingham, I try to place my services to help, sometimes I do simply sign on as a way to pass time. My cause is not for sale to the highest bidder but an adventure is an adventure." Tesni paused a moment. "I've fought massive direwolves and evil crows. I have fought the undead in a dusty cave. I was shrunk down and fought insects... I fought for a false cause once but realised that I fight for my skin and that of my comrades. My last quest was a chance to travel and I do not regret it. Hopefully my next will take me back to confront someone I met in the town of Haddon. Maybe I can help make up for the accidental wrong I did."
-
Tesni caught the change of words but let it pass. "I didn't see that, I focused on Haddon on the board and signed my name."
-
Tesni handed over the gem and took the 60 gold, bringing her total to 655 gold. "Hope you get good use out of it!"
-
Tesni smiled at Cinnia. "Fancy a bit of fire magic eh? Well... When I was out on the quest a trader sold gems for a good amount and I do recall Elpheba selling rubies too, though I got this at some risk to my hide in a fraught battle... How about 60 gold? Not too bad a price I hope?" She let the light of the hall play on the facets of the ruby, it was a beautiful gem to behold but fire was never an element that brought fond memories to the warrior.
-
Tesni sat and thought for a moment. "Namyrra, the 514 gold does include what you owe me, it was 55 gold wasn't it?" She turned to Eric and took a clinking bag from her satchel. "Here you go Eric, 514 gold. The sum we earned from the quest added in with mixed coinage and loot sale." She then rummaged further. "For you m'lady." She handed the Topaz to Namyrra and then counted what was left. "I have a ruby and an emerald Boomingham, Cinnia. I have plans for my Topaz and the Diamond." With a wide smile Tesni looked to her comrades.
-
"He left us at the shop and then went somwhere. Probably somewhere away from Eric, those two were like cats in a box!"
-
Tesni shook her head with a start. "Gods I did it again yes? I really seem to work better when out on a quest. Was thinking about Haddon..." She smiled to Boomingham and Cinnia. "Questing this round was interesting, we travelled quite far from Eubric to collect parcels and deiver them. Got stuck in a forsaken sewer, attacked by fish and food, ambushed twice while we slept... Got confused at a bank and fought some terrible badgers." She took a swig of ale. "Got some good equipment though. Armour and a warhammer." She grinned. "Picked up some gems too, I have spares seeing as Eric wasn't interested and Namyrra had gathered what she needed." She whispered the last part. With so many thieves about she wasn't going to sing about them.

Oops, sorry Zeph, stuff gets clogged in that thar hall.
-
Tesni sat back in her chair. It was good to simply let the activities of the hall wash over her. She scanned the crowds for any sign of Eric, the nord had not come for his gold yet. She took a swig of her small beer from the tankard beside her and carried on the watch for familiar faces. There was a lot of new blood in the hall from the looks of things, ones who had arrived when she was busy questing. None came near, but she knew what an imposing figure a berserker with several weapons was. Chuckling wryly she thought of future activities.
-
Wren Over Zoot was what I was aiming for, a reminder to Tesni what she learned on her quest and that Zoots Wisdom thing is pretty nifty. Didn't notice that but it is clever (Like LEGO in latin and all that) useful too for Tesni's future path. Now to go put a diamond on it
-
"Namyrra, here is your share of the gold. 514 each after I added in the bars. Seeing as Maurice left us he will have left the gold also." She grinned. "I am glad of some rest now though!"
-
Tesni grinned. "Boomers! How goes it friend?"
-
Tesni marched in. She noticed the newest quests and signed up for Quest #38: The Lost Party. Checking for her questmates Tesni shrugged at no sign of them and made her way to a table. She grabbed a plate of food and a jug of ale to be getting on with.
-
Tesni went to the marketplace and sold three gold bars for 150 gold. Making a total of 1623 gold.

Tesni took the promised gold. "I am sorry for the breakage, we treated it carefully as we were able. I don't believe we have anything to add. Thank you good sir." Tesni bowed slightly and nodded to her fellow questers. As she passed them to the door she whispered: "I'll divvy up the gold after I cash up the gold and treasure we found on the quest, that way we each earn a good sum." -

"I simply checked it as and when we needed to, but it stopped chiming after we left the boat. As none of use were versed in technomagery we thought it best to leave it alone." -

Tesni smiled and handed over the items loaned at the start of the quest. "We did indeed, not without some trouble but all was well in the end." -

"Well, I guess we can head back to the ship then. Thank you very much." Tesni lead the others away.
