  1. Well, it is a WIP, the rules say no WIP so no, it can't count.
  2. I think I'll slot my 2p in. As a fan of LEGO and somewhat of an Idea Lightning RodTM this is an excellent opportunity for me. Why? Well, first off: Working for TLG would be awesome but would also mean having to seperate myself from the community, a huge part of my Adult love for LEGO. I wouldn't be able to interact with my friends or my family in the same manner regarding LEGO and that would be terrible for me. If I was to become a designer of any type in TLG I would have reams of red tape stopping me say and do things. I'm also not entirely sure on how much/what I could MOC and share with others. So, if someone appeared right now and offered me a job with TLG for certain, I'd have to really really think on it hard (and I'm none to fond of my current employment...). But: I have so many ideas I want to share! Limited by my space and time to develop an idea, so many MOC plans die as sketches or even simply doodles in a notebook. Maybe I tablescrap a few features or Scratch Build something... throw some minifigs together and that. Eventually a new idea or some great big block comes along that stops me getting to a completed build. Yet I still have ideas I want to share! So, with a paragraph, some sketched art and a selection of Tags, I can share one of my ideas with TLG and maybe that ends up being shared with everyone! A win win for me. If a theme I shared the idea for comes out in three years time, I'll be so happy. Even if everyone else doesn't know I had the idea, even if it ends up being a one wave thing I would have shared the idea and maybe some of the excitement, wonder and creativity it inspired in me. Free Lego would rock for sure and that, but I am not in it for prizes or kudos. I do it for the fun and well, for the art. Eh, just my thoughts on the matter.
  3. It belong's in the theme forum that matches the theme of the MOC. Like I said, the ninja is sneaking in and hiding somewhere unexpected
  4. Cute was certainly my aim I built one and it was over 30cm long to be accurate to the original I was working off (A mix of the 60s TV series and the recent cartoon)
  5. So, I made a Batmobile but it was a little too big, so I gave it a go. What do you think?
  6. It looks like the long awaited Legends of Chima photos have surfaced. Come take a look in Action Themes and join the discussion.
  7. This is just too cool! I am buying Friends and Chima... That's going to be fun at the checkout isn't it. "Oh no, these are for me..."
  8. Well, I have a plan and I know what I want to buy. Thundercats meets Zoids. Oh
  9. Wowsers bowsers! So, I know where my money is going next year for sure and it looks like my planned MOCs can be inhabited by some awesom characters.
  10. I was hoping to, shall we say, encourage voting on how clever/funny the ninja hiding place is. I mean look at the contest banner. You can see the ninja with ease but there is something pretty comedic about a ninja popping out of a flower bed right? Then again, if you have to go all "Where's Wally" on a MOC, that is pretty awesome too, real ninja hiding technique! Of course if someone doesn't like the MOC then they'll likely not vote for it. But to clarify: These entries should be judged on: Ninja Hiding Awesomeness LEGO style irreverance and Comedy (like in the LEGO video games) it's an and or situation really, hence the tags as the main prize. Remember: This is just a bit of fun
  11. Oh wow, this is amazing! I love the castle at the end and the tilt field (Jousting field) looks perfect too.
  12. So, here are some more. I do not know if they are covered already but hey, Pug! Everyone loves pugs right?
  13. Tesni sat in a room of the hall, working on her equipment. Swords needed buffing, wooden handles and leather needed waxing, her armour needed to be checked and her shield tested. It would not do to go out once more without being prepared.
  14. Mars Attacks. Oh, how I love thi film!
  15. You can join in for fun! All staff are welcome to post something here and I'll keep it out of judging when we finish. Go nuts guys!
  16. It has to physically be in the MOC, it has to be a new MOC but this MOC can be from any other theme, contest or whatever. This contest was designed to let everyone have some fun and join in.

  20. Well done darkdragon! We all loved Code Monkey Now Prepare for Ninja!
  21. Here is a link for resizing images online. You can deeplink Brickshelf images, individual URLs work before moderation, only indirect access is prevented.
  22. Uh, there are like two rules... Change your avatar and post a picture in the thread. Can you resize that picture to forum rules of 600px and maybe make on that is 100px for your avatar else it will not comply with forum rules.
  23. Right in answer (no particular order and it may be one answer for multiple questions) The Ninja-fied avatar picrture that is posted in this entry thread is final, unless deemed to be breaking any of the general forum rules. So, until you post a picture here you have not entered the contest. There will be one winner, they have a choice from those tags. Then others will be given out in the other contests to be revealed later. I just think tags as prizes are great an all, but it is more fun if the winner can get their prefrence. The rules say reflect or include Lego Ninja, so long as you reflect or include them, you can enter and your entry is fine. One final time: To Enter this contest you must change your avatar and post the picture in this thread!
  24. We'll allow them in the Avatar contest, take a look at what was allowed in the Summer of Friend's avatar contest for more.
  25. The ever talented Hinckley created the forum banner. It's great isn't it
