Very beautiful work MdrnMrvls! The barn looks very impressive and the roof is succesfully built. The basement doors is a nice and clever detail. The sliding doors work great and they look even better with the thin white frame around them. The smaller building together with the windmill are excellent and they sure give me a farm-y impression and together with that brilliant tractor (I love it!) produce a beautiful farm life picture. Excellent work!

Welcome to Eurobricks Niclas. It's nice to hear that you've found your way back to LEGO. Believe me, you won't regret it. Good points on the creativity you've made there. Creativity and imagination flourish in this corner of the web. Great choice! I'm having my copy delivered on Friday. Enjoy your stay and have fun!

Beautiful creation TinyPiesRUs, you've captured the 20's atmosphere in a great way! There are some really beautiful details in it and those that have impressed me the most are the car the door. The car looks fantastic (excellent choice of wheels) and the door idea is genius, especially for that era. One more thing that really caught my attention in your creation is that it looks "alive", you can almost feel the action taking place. As others have already said, you've made an excellent choice of minifigs and you've placed them exactly in the right positions (the bartender looks great cleaning the glass and the drinking officer looks as if he has dropped the glass from the sudden unfortunate surprise). Well done! P.S When I first saw the photos without checking the details, I was curious about that lever/antenna sticking out from the side of the building in the second picture. A facepalm followed after a second look.

I'm only talking about the cockpit here. Ray's one has a more "pointy" look, similar to the one you've created.

Wonderful city layout simonwillems! The integration of classic town and modern era sets is very successful and they look great all together. The MOCs you've created look very nice too and it's a good thing that they vary in size and style. In that way, the finished result looks balanced and all the elements in the layout match together in a "smooth" way. What I really love and could stare for hours are the nightfall photos. Just beautiful.

I love it! Beautiful work TheBrickster! The building looks great and very close to the actual one and the selection of elements you've made for the minifigs is just perfect. What I really like is the "poster". The photo editing, the selection of the colours you used and the addition of the hula girl, the seaplane and the palm trees makes it look just like a promo picture from the real life TV series. You took me way back with this....Thanks!

Very nice work Decale. Although that these mechas are not exact copies of Metal Gears as you've already stated, both of them look nice and creatively built. Being an MGS fan from the old days and seeing the cockpit/head, I could say that it looks more like Metal Gear Ray to me.

Nice review mikey, thanks. Neat little set and a good and cheap introduction to the new subtheme. As you've already mentioned, it's a great way of getting an astronaut without spending too much money and it's the main reason for me to get this impulse. I'm really starting to like the overall colour combination of this subtheme btw. White together with blue and red procude a simple yet beautiful match.

I guess I took the "Building is fun" LEGO statement too seriously. -
Wonderful review TheBrickster, really eye-catching. The comparison shots are great and very informative. The minifigs look beautiful and very detailed and it's a great way of expanding your army - or even begin an army building with this set. I must admit that Ninja minifigs from back then are among the best TLG has ever produced. The strange thing is that although the Ninja theme made its debut during my dark ages, (in fact, I wasn't even aware that this certain theme existed until I joined EB) everytime I look at LEGO Ninja photos it somehow feels familiar and "classic". Thanks again for the review! (I still haven't opened the only Ninja set I have in my possession. Hmmm..;)

Thanks Big Cam. Perhaps I should consider working as a cement mixer operator since the result looks good. I think I have to do something about that. How beautiful that sounds CGH! Riding across Europe for an EB event...Fantastic! -
Very nice work Omicron. Very successful selection of accessories and elements you've made there, especially the hair piece, the bandana and the minifig head. The result looks very similar to the actual game character.

Ohh, aren't you mean! Too bad that I don't have original photos from a digital camera. I bought my first one in 2004 and the accident I had was in 2003 (with this bike). I REALLY miss riding... -

Congratulations KDM, you really deserve it! I'm more than sure that you'll do a great job in the SW Forum. -
Well, I won't hide it, that was my first reaction too. Thanks for the quality this forum had all this time TheBrickster! You were a great leader in the Town Forum and I am absolutely sure that the fantastic work you'd been doing all those years will continue in the Train Tech Forum. After all, Train Tech is like a child of yours, at least to my eyes. I'm really gonna miss seeing you carrying the Sheriff badge though. It just looked too good on you for some reason.

Sorry for the crappy quality. I haven't bought a new scanner since my last one went down so I had to take a picture of this analog photo. I also apologize for the terrible photoshopping on the rider but since she's one of my ex-girlfriends I think that it was the right thing to do. This photo was taken in 2002. Isn't she a beauty? (The motorcycle that is, not the cemented girl. ) -
Such a quality contest! Congrtulations to the winners! Your entries were fantastic and the quality of your creations was just stunning! You really deserved it. Welcome to Eurobricks Elke. It's nice to hear that you've found your way back to the LEGO world. Trust me, Eurobricks is the best companion in this great journey. There are some very interesting photos in your photostream. Nice work. Don't be so sure about that. Make a post in that topic and a pink star will be given to you. Thanks for the pictures grogall. I must say that the ANA version of the 3181 Passenger Plane looks fantastic. The colour pattern and the shape of the stripes is very beautiful and although that it's a sticker it really adds to the looks of the plane. Btw, is that supposed to be a door frame next to the first passenger window?

Bigger than golden arches! - Given to me by the Dark Wizard of Australia I Scream Clone. Genius! This is what happens when you get too cocky. Corrupted police officer+huge ape+junk food+cliché Greek restaurants = new title. Easy math.
