  1. Since you've created the same topic twice I'll lock this one.
  2. That looks very nice greg. I love the fact that although that you're mostly using sets and elements from the modern City line the layout still looks like a village (or a town to put it better) and it really has a classic town charm. Excellent chemistry my friend. The use of all this greenery is great btw!
  3. Really beautiful work Ralph, it turned out great! Although that I'm not a huge train expert your creation is really admirable and I'd love to try something like that too, even for display purposes. (To be honest, you've just motivated me to start building my 10219 copy that's still in the box). Excellent job!
  4. Fantastic review Fangy! Detailed along with beautiful pictures, thanks! I bought this set last week and I like it. I wanted to be introduced in the PotC world and I think that this set does the job pretty well since it's one of the cheapest too (not too cheap in general though). Jack's minifig is fantastic and there are some really beautiful pieces and elements in this set (so many printed pieces! ). Thanks again for the brilliant review!
  5. There is already a topic regarding the last set before dark ages. Click me! A nice journey to the past.
  6. Thanks for the very nice review dr_spock. I built this set two weeks ago and I like it. The build wasn't something too spectacular but the finished model left me satisfied. I really like the printed detail on the cockpit/nose piece and the back of the shuttle looks pretty impressive with the turbines burning. The small sattelite is a nice addition and the only thing that I would improve is the way the doors open in the sattelite's cargo area. It should have been a bit "smoother" I think. I really love the new NASA minifigs and the gold helmet really adds to the look. Great move! I'm not a fan of that particular head either. Thanks again for the review and props for the 10213 comparison photos. P.S Am I the only one that found the instructions' way of placing the rear wheels odd?
  7. I wanted to buy the camera's photo editing software too but the box couldn't fit in the car.
  8. A great plan if you ask me. The rival football teams idea is clever. Thanks for sharing!
  9. Happy birthday Shipyard Master! Enjoy your day buddy and may all your wishes come true (LEGO wish list included). Here's my present for your LEGO reviews:
  10. Very nice classic town layout Leanne! There are some great sets in there and (being a classic town fan myself) I never get tired of looking at layouts that include classic town sets. It's this charm... Btw, why don't you deeplink a photo or two in your post? It will sure make the topic more interesting. P.S Do something about the dust!
  11. Ooh, I missed this topic. I'd love to "travel" to USA for once more . My sigfig is the same as last year's. Thanks for all the great effort of doing this Stash!
  12. Very nice work Hoexbroe. The "Meals On Wheels" looks great with the minifig in it and I must say that the first picture of the red car gives me the impression of a die-cast car. Pretty impressive!
  13. My bad. I only clicked on the first link. You're right prateek.
  14. Wow, that is one brilliant review Rufus! You've covered every detail of the set and its elements and your photos are absolutely beautiful! The first picture is even more artistic than an official LEGO one! On to the set. When I first heard the rumors regarding the release of a new harbour I was more than excited because the Maritime subtheme is my all time favorite and the last harbour that TLG released in 2007 (7994) was a really great set for my standards. I wasn't thrilled when I first saw photos of the new one and although that this review shows every detail of it I'm still not impressed. The major flaw is (surprise, surprise!) the dock. Flat baseplates? Come on...I own the Intercoastal Seaport (this is my favorite piece for creating harbour docks) and the 2007 Harbour and the comparison is really inevitable. The concept of this harbour is quite good but lacks in execution in many points. I love this type of crane but the structure/building is way too simplified (even for classic town standards if you ask me). The conveyor belt is a very nice idea. Not too much to comment regarding the boat. It's simple and it's OK I guess. The bridge/accomodation part could have been a little more detailed though (the one on the 7994's ship was much better). Anyway, sorry if I was a bit hard with this set, I guess I was expecting something else. Thanks again for the fantastic review Rufus, you're awesome! Isn't that the same torso used in the 7994 Harbour? This one? I really miss the sea oriented classic town dioramas that were including sets from other subthemes too... The first one that came to my mind was this one. I don't know if it's compatible though.
  15. Beautiful and pretty detailed creation that screams classic town. The Italian colours look great in it and that billboard sign looks excellent on the top of the building. The stickers look really cool! Very nice work frogstudio and a very clever idea, I'll be waiting for the real brick version!
  16. Fantastic review Pandora! Your photos are brilliant and the review itself is very detailed and really enjoyable! As I've already said in the past, when I first saw the pictures of the new Marina I was a bit dissapointed since I was expecting something similar to the good ol' Sail N' Fly Marina. The Harbour/Nautica subtheme is my favorite and the overall appearance of the new Marina didn't work for me. Now that I've seen better and more detailed images I must say that I've changed my mind a little and things are not so tragic as I thought it would be. There is a nice choice of colours, accessories and minifigs and although that the marina's design is not something spectacular, it sure is compatible with today's City buildings' standards. Thanks again for this very beautiful review!
  17. No worries. You can always read the Site Guidelines for future reference.
  18. Interesting designs stark mark 5. Since the pictures posted in EB must be no larger than 800x600 according to the Site Guidelines, could you please resize them and post smaller ones? You can always consult the helpful tutorials link found in my signature for that. Thanks!
  19. What a beautiful creation JJG, this is just fantastic! The overall design, the AMAZIng level of detail, the colours you've chosen, pure excellence! These windows are a piece of art, one of the most beautiful works I've seen on LEGO pieces, well done! (..and those 1x1 gold plates... ) A great thanks for sharing this unique creation with us!
  20. Interesting... I built the new Space Shuttle last week and when I came to the step where I had to put the rear wheels structure on it, I had to make a small correction: The way they're "officially" placed just looked odd to me so I just turned it 180o with the angled part facing the front and the vertical one facing the back.
  21. Very nice review RubeusHagrid, especially for a first one, thanks! Although that the classic town Marina is still my favorite, I'm starting to change my views when it comes to this one, especially after seeing your review. The structure's design may look odd but it's colourful and there are lots of elements that prevent it from looking empty. The new torsos look fantastic, especially the diver's one! Thanks again for the review! P.S Could you replace the box photo with a smaller one, no larger than 800x600? I know it's just one but it will make your review look even better. A link to tutorials can be found in my signature.
  22. Beautiful work toorayay. The colours you've used produce a very nice result (red with blue look great together) and the interior details are fantastic. I too agree that the Barber Shop is the highlight here and the tiled floor makes it stand out. Welcome (back) to LEGO and to Eurobricks SjoMiLu, enjoy your stay with us. You can always introduce yourself here if you like. The piece you're looking for is this one. It looks just great when placed horizontally.
  23. Very nice review with lots of photos, thanks mifody! Although that it's not something too mind blowing, it's still a nice concept for the Harbour subtheme. The truck with the trailer is average but the speedboat looks pretty good and the colour scheme works great.
  24. Fantastic news Morten, thanks! It seems that the time is near.
  25. A bit late but I had to comment... Touché! Man, now that's a motorcycle! I remember the horn cover and it looks great on it L-space.
