  1. I've seen some sets in a toy store here in Greece and it was mostly castle. Btw, I've noticed something else too: LE-GO/CO-GO A red brick for a logo. "COGO, EXPERT TO ENLIGHTEN CHILDREN" The age recommendation frame (Playmobil much?) Perhaps I'm watching too many conspiracy theories movies.
  2. Here's a larger picture of the harbour scene. Thanks for the hint lightningtiger.
  3. Thanks for the pictures The Red Brick and Brickviller. The promo sets look very good, especially the satellite with the astronaut. The harbour scene looks beautiful too. (That crane is a free ticket to the 80s).
  4. This is really a stunning work! The overall exterior design is very beautiful with lots of details and the colour scheme is great (tan along with dark red and white produces a brilliant result). The interior is also great and this is a genius concept of having the collectable minifigs together in a display that fits in the everyday life of a city. I was thinking the same thing. If you ask me, the Atlantis pillar pieces look ever better in your creation. Well done shuntic and thanks for sharing!
  5. Happy birthday Quarryman! Enjoy your day and have lots fun buddy! Here's my present:
  6. Same here Kiel. I wasn't aware of the existence of this particular type of sprint cars and I must say that your creation looks pretty close to the real thing. The pick up truck looks great too and I like the fact that you made it look longer by placing the wheels at that distance from each other - it doesn't look common that way. The details on the trailer are excellent. You've managed to put all these tools and gear without making it look overloaded and that's definitely a plus. Very interesting job btw.
  7. Nice work Helena, a small and cozy country house. The bedroom wall technique you've used for having access there is clever .
  8. That was beautiful indeed and sure made me smile. There are some funny parts in there (the super slow motion moments were great, especially in 1:17 and 4:12) and I must say that the head from the Traffic Cop collectable minifig is a great choice for a police rider and much better from the overused current one. A dollar bag is a fantastic idea for an actual piece btw. Thanks for sharing Brickviller!
  9. Happy birthday Svelte! Enjoy your day with those you love and I really hope to see you back soon. We miss you buddy!
  10. Beautiful work as always BlueBard! The park looks really nice with all these details such as the small fountain, the water tap, the statue (the memorial/description plaque is a great and clever idea ) and the newspaper stand. The dog is brilliant! I also like that there are several activities going on, resulting in a very vivid and full of life scenery and it's great that you've used many elements from the collectable minifigs. There are some beautiful torsos and headgears to use in our cities! Thanks for sharing!
  11. Am I late? Happy birthday Scouts! I hope you had a fantastic day buddy!
  12. Great find kris kelvin, thanks for the pictures! Although that I still haven't changed my mind regarding the new Marina set (the overall shape and design isn't something that makes me jump from happiness) and although that the comparison between the Sail N' Fly Marina and this one is inevitable, it's really encouraging that TLG decided to release sets that have to do with sea in general. The boat transporter looks huge! The speedboat's design is really good but I'm a bit sceptical regarding the size of it.
  13. Thanks for your good words everybody. It means a lot!

  14. Since this is a speculation topic regarding next year's sets, I've tweaked the title in order to avoid possible confusion.
  15. Thanks for all your good wishes everybody, I really appreciate it! I'll give my best and I'll try to help from this new position in order to have a great Town Forum and maintain the quality we all love.
  16. The new sets look fantastic! Lots of great details, new beautiful animal molds - beautiful! The overall design of the sets is really eye catching and I'm more than sure that this is going to be one expensive year even for those who are not dedicated fans of the Castle theme. These are a must buy!
  17. Very nice work Salvobrick. The buildings look beautiful and although that all three are based on a similar construction pattern they look unique at the same with these beautifully built facades. The three Creator houses are instantly recognisable in there and these could easily be official alternative models for each one respectively. Good job!
  18. I already have the 3366 Satellite Launch Platform in my possession too. There is one toy shop here that has it on the shelves since late January and the exact same thing happened with the 7684 Pig Farm last year.
  19. Now that I've seen the clearer and more detailed photos of this set I'm ever more excited. There is something that really makes this train look unique and I strongly believe that one of the most important factors for this is the colour scheme. The combination of grey, light blue and black makes the train look "rough" and together with the very nice design of the engine and the other elements that are included in the set (containers, truck, light blue minifig helmets) definitely makes me wanna buy it even if I have to watch it sit on my shelf without moving at all.
  20. Happy birthday buddy and may all your wishes come true when dealing with the candles.
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks Pandora, fantastic introduction! One more EB couple, that's wonderful! It's great that you and Rufus share the same hobby (not so great for your budget though ) and as far as I can see you are already familiar with this place. Enjoy your stay and have a great time in here! What a fantastic idea! AFOLs all the way!
  22. Thanks Christopher! Much appreciated!

  23. Beautiful work Chris. You've really managed to use the pieces in a most successful way and the result looks very detailed for a microscale model. That's creativity.
  24. Happy birthday KimT! Have a fantastic day and celebrate it with the ones you love! Happy birthday to Modulex Polish Guy and to all the others too!
  25. Interesting. The year was 1991 or 1992, I was 12-13 years old and my brother brought me this as a gift from a trip of his: Still have it, still love it and still one of my all time favorite LEGO sets. That was the last set I got only months before entering dark ages. At least I went down in style.
