  1. Ditto. My plans exactly from the very first call! I'm not evil, I was just born that way!
  2. Very nice MOC Kalahare! The overall shape and size are very good and as others have already mentioned, the sliding door is excellently executed. I also like the looks of the back door. Very nice! A nice MOC intro in Eurobricks. Keep up the good work! A similar tecnique was also used in the 7893 Passenger Plane.
  3. Just for the record, I think you meant daoudbazaar. Then again, seaplane-Legoliner Pilot, I can see the reason behind the small mistake.
  4. A blind date. You know, accidentally punched in the eye by some fans that had a few pints more. Sorry, off-topic but couldn't resist here.
  5. Ah, yes! I remember these two MOCs! Great creations again BlueBard! The interior is for once more excellent! The oven and the burgers(!) are my favorites from Al's place! The customer's head that pays for his food is a great choice! The garage is also magnificient! The door is very realistic and the interior's "photography" (if this is the right term for choosing the right colours and elements for a location) gives the impression of a real garage atmosphere. Well done for one more time!
  6. I really love it! Not too big, not too small, an excellent set for me! I, too love the air-mail and when I first saw this one, I was more than sure that this is going to be my first 2010 set. Very nice colour combination and I really like how it looks in the photos that are taken from the back side. Another good thingn is that it can be converted into a normal plane with wheels. My only complaint is the minifig's face. I just hate that face. Thanks again for another 2010 review daoudbazaar!
  7. Fantastic! Excellent work Brickster! All the sets combined together form a great and realistic scenery! I guess this super set is the "Brickster Exclusive" of the theme. Looking forward to more.
  8. Thanks for the review daoudbazaar! That's a very very nice set and a must buy of course! I bet that in the upcoming year, city layouts will be full of thse small beauties in every colour available. The minifig is great! A new torso is always welcomed! Good old classic town vehicle base... And as I've said in many posts in the past, AT LAST, smaller wheels for civilian cars! TLG was capable of using that same wheel type that uses in EVERY vehicle during the last years even in this one! At least there is some common sence. Thanks again!
  9. Thanks to Brickster for making me listen again to these wonderful sounds with his latest wonderful MOC. Mexicano, clandestino!!!
  10. Yes, I looked it up myself in the beggining. The employee I talked with, said that the number is 4561, so I'm guessing that it's the version WITH the regulator. You should see me at that moment. She said that they had an old set, a train set if she was remembering correctly and she told me to wait to check for the set number. I was literally sweating from curiosity and anticipation on the phone for the next seconds and I had the Brickset page ready, to type the numbers and see which set actually was! That experience was as close as it can get to a christmas sock! The prices are lower in Bricklink. I saw that and it is exactly what you're saying. All the process involved from one hand, make a call and have it delivered in 2 days giving the money to the courier on the other. Thanks Macoco for your point of view and the personal opinion on the set itself! It's a very good thing to know what the set owners think. Tomorrow is the final day. I think I can reduce the price to €150 by bargaining. Not many toy shop owners here in Greece are aware of the prices regarding old sets. That's my advantage!
  11. Town Plan!!! I'm just waiting for a call from the LEGO shop. Please Santa Zorbaus!!! I've been a good boy! Naaahhh...
  12. *The sound when taking a deep breath* ------------------------------------------- Thank god that the topic wasn't about the last 365 days...That would have included the large christmas sets and the just-got-out-from-dark-ages-and-started-bying-sets-like-a-maniac purchases. EDIT: List updated.

    MOC: Shark Island

Ahh, yes! Thanks for the feedback paul! I always thought that the 4031 was using the hull appearing in the 4020 which I own.

    MOC: Shark Island

A nice town that it's forming there Bob! First of all, these are my all-time favorite roadplates! I really like the photo with the sign. It is a nice good looking corner. Just one question. From which set is the red ship's hull from? I know that there is a blue one, but a red? P.S Lego room huh? You lucky Bob Marley... (...the Marley thing was for the island. )
  15. While checking some sets for christmas, I bought the 6192 Pirate Building Set. A small charming purchase for 6.99 euros. The minifig's torso is great, 150 pieces with some very interesting colours and I must admit, the ship you get to build is actually nice!
  16. Very nice work TheBrickster! Although that all your creations are superb, I must say that this one is as close as it can get to an actual official set. Clear design, not too overloaded, the piece count, the number of minifigs, really somebody could fall for the set being an official one! Well done!
  17. I called the shop again today trying to do a little bargain with the owner. I told him that it's an old set and he should provide a discount for that (!). You know, trying to help him to get rid of something sitting in his shop for ages. Don't be surprised, the 210 euros is not due to the set being old, it's just how the prices are here in Greece. He finally told me that he will leave it for 170 euros. I'm still thinking it. It seems like a nice set and most important, classic! I think I'll try to reduce the price a bit more...
  18. Very nice creation Polish Guy! Although that sushi is not my cup of tea ( ), I really like your MOC! The roof structure is very innovative and clever. Btw, you can use a ninja sword instead of knives for the cook for a more "Kill Bill" approach! Modo Arigato PolishGuy-san! EDIT: Just saw the newer pictures. The second one from the interior lokks fantastic with the lighting!

    City 2010

No car doors until last year and now 6 of them in a single vehicle! TLG, you are REALLY spoiling us!! I absolutely love that rich and famous concept! If the helicopter's nose was brick built that set would have been an absolute win/win.
  20. I was looking for a LEGO related christmas wallpaper for my laptop and I've discovered this! (Click the picture for the full size image.) What a wonderful piece of art! Isn't that nostalgic? The uploader's name is kaiserlino. I don't know if he is the actual creator though.
  21. Urgent!!!! I've just discovered a MISB 4561 Railway Express by making some phonecalls to some not-so-advertised-and-hyped toy shops. The owner told me that the price is around 150 euros. What do you think? (I'm a classic town addict just for the record.) And one more thing: Since my only train experience was with the 12V sets, is there anything else needed in order for the train to work properly? ...aaand one last thing. (sorry for the "things"...) I'm not a Bricklink user. Waiting for a response. EDIT: Turns out that the price is 210 euros after some clarification.
  22. Another excellent creation BlueBard! The colours on the exterior are fantastic. As for the interior, what can I say? You are truely a master at designing not just the interiors which are always great, but also the activities taking place in them! You sure know how to give life to ABS! Really, your creations are BB* style rather than CC style! They all have that great characteristic look and that's great! *BlueBard that is, not Brickbeard's Bounty... Great work as usual and I can't wait to see all these buildings together in a display!
  23. That's odd... Even the visor was not an extra for me. About Bricklink, it says that there is also an extra dark bluish vehicle base. Anyway, at least I'll have a story to tell to my grandchildren about the no-extra pieces.
  24. An excellent set! This is probably the best fire truck TLG has ever released till now. I got mine last year and I highly recommend it to everyone. A strange think though. When I finished building it, there was NO extra pieces left. Not even one! Given the piece count (214 pcs) and the size of the set, it seemed very strange to me. Has anybody else experienced something similar with his/hers copy? Thanks for the review Razgriz!
  25. That's exactly what I thought at first, being a european myself. Since the separation system is different in some countries, I kept examining the number in case I was wrong. The point is that some other items listed from the same seller have a buy-it-now price that although that is very high, it seems that the separation that was used wasn't a mistake but was put intentionally. I'm guessing that from the numbers forming there.
