  1. Really great entries guys! I had a hard time selecting my favorites. My votes: 1 point: 3) Spaceman & Pharaoh Entry (Build by Optimus) 1 point: 8) Robot & Jungle Explorer Entry (Build by lisqr) 1 point: 12) Diver & Surfer Entry (Build by squiz) Wonderful creations!
  2. Happy Birthday Birday Erdy! Have fun and celebrate all day long!
  3. My thoughts exactly. The only HP I knew was my laptop. Good point on the town idea. These columns...
  4. Poor Pluto! Have a great day Etzel and happy birthday to the rest of the guys too!
  5. "First we take Manhattan The Netherlands, then we take Berlin." Enjoy it Rick!
  6. I can provide one more surprise for you. Go to Brickset and look at the top right corner. You'll find a complete barcode list for all the minifigs, both for Series 1 and 2. I must admit that your enthusiasm made me smile. Kudos to the register girl too.
  7. Happy Birthday Stash! Enjoy and celebrate your day to the max!
  8. Great review Brickaroo! Lots of photos, a great video and very nice and enjoyable commenting! The rating was funny! Great set too! I can remember looking at this set in the LEGO catalogue back then wishing to acquire it (something that never happened). The functionality is at its best and although that it doesn't have too many elements to accompany it (trees, signs etc), it has that little "something" that makes you wanna have it. Thanks again for the brilliant review! P.S I even miss the tan-light blue 12V background...
  9. I missed this very nice topic. My favorite mold from Series 1 is the Skater's hair piece. Not only for the looks but for quality also. I only have six of the Series 2 minifigs (I got them today) so I really can't say for sure which is my favorite part from those. From what I have seen from various photos, the Spartan helmet, the sombrero and the Skier's beanie are the pieces I like the most so I ended up voting for the sombrero. P.S Am I the only one who thinks that the Nurse hair piece makes the head look chubby?
  10. -Doctor, my whole body is in pain. -Could you be more specific? -It hurts here (*presses his finger against his chest*), here (*presses his finger against his leg*), here (*presses his finger against his arm*), here (*presses his finger against his head*). It's all over my body. -Hmmm, your finger is broken.
  11. Really (and I mean REALLY) beautiful photos fenris! They are very clear and you've taken them in an artistic way. I too agree that the first one is the best. Not only is crystal clear but you can also feel the "tension" if you know what I mean. Keep sharing, please!
  12. I bought the new 7953 Jester, one more copy of the 7950 Knight's Showdown, the 8896 Snake Canyon (great bikes!) and my first six Series 2 minifigs! The minifigs were semi-randomly selected meaning that I've managed to get six different by checking the barcodes but without knowing which ones. I'll bring the barcode list with me at my next visit for sure.
  13. This is just beautiful! Well done mawich, you've created my dream layout, full of classic town sets! If you ask my opinion, these roadplates are my all time favorite and the most suitable for a classic town layout. Thanks again for the pictures! 6390 or 10041 Main Street EDIT: Welcome to EB too. If you want, you can introduce yourself here.
  14. How can you not like 4 wide MOCs, especially when they are like these two cuties? Excellent work Bobby! You've put a lot of skill in these two as far as I can see and the result is great. The colour selection is very nice and I partcularly like these three blue and white pieces you've used in the front of the white camper. The red camper's bumper is very clever. It's to die for! (Accidental pun ) Great work! P.S ♫♫"Take me down for a paradise ride, where the wheels are small and the cars 4 wide."♫♫ From Bricks 'n' Roses
  15. Good thinking Rick. I've tried it and although that it takes some time it works just fine. Thanks I guess the old feature no longer exists.
  16. I'd like to ask something since I'm curious about it. When I go to my (or to any as it seems) profile page and click on the "Find Posts" line on the top left, it only shows the last 500 posts. Is there a way we could track all of our posts just like the way it was in the previous board? Thanks in advance.
  17. It's still there from what I can see.
  18. My point exactly. Poor Anna... Beware of the flying racquet.
  19. Same here. For once more, fantastic work Teddy! Great colour selection (brown is most suitable and looks beautiful next to tan), very beautiful design (SNOT works great here and the windows are very cleverly created) and a fantastic interior! You 've managed to place all the essentials in it in a great way! The police car looks really great too! The front of it with the chromed pieces is very realistic. Once again. well done and thanks for sharing Teddy!
  20. I've just seen the Series 3 minifigs and some of those look great. I especially like the fisherman, the Elf and the Samurai (it looked like Ken Watanabe to me when I first saw it). The torso from the baseball player is great for the City theme and the cap from the dude-with-the-Boombox looks very beautiful. Is it me or is the tennis player looks pissed off by something? That "Discuss" was priceless!
  21. First of all, a great thanks to EB Staff for organising this fantastic contest. It was really enjoyable and searching in unknown, unexplored dark lands (Bionicle, Mafia Games, some licensed themes) was really fun. Thank god I had a torch with me! Keep organising contests like that guys! Participation is 3/4 of the fun in my opinion. Also, congratulations to all the winners! Enjoy your trophies guys and after all, you fully deserve it!
  22. [facepalm] Dang, of course...Spongebob set...I searched in EVERY underwater related set I could think of except the obvious... [/facepalm] That was a great one Sieggy! My favorite from Sieggy's is definitely the cop. Very clever! About the Spartan....My story. First I went here. I saw the photo with the MB Halo Spartan being next/close to an Atlantis minifig. I went to Bricklink to see in which LEGO set that minifig is, I went back to EB to check these reviews and after checking I broke my mouse.
  23. Happy birthday guys! I hope you had a fun day!
  24. A minifig in a Creator House set? Now, that's good! My first thoughts on the 2011 batch is more positive than negative. We'll just have to wait and see more detailed photos for a better perspective I guess. White bike...
  25. That was great Jammie! What I really like is that you've managed to capture the atmosphere. The swords moment was top.
