  1. A man goes into a restaurant... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BjrG5QQZxE&feature=related
  2. The Spartan (shame on me... ), the Witch, the Karate Master and the Weightlifter. I'll give it a try for once more having the hints from the last posts in mind (thanks for that!). P.S Once the contest ends I'd like to share the "path" I followed for one of the minifigs above . Jigsaw ( ) ON! P.S #2 One of the best contests, no doubt about that! Congrats to everyone who is involved in setting this up.
  3. Oh yes, I totally forgot the Golden Hall one. You are right.
  4. My thoughts exactly, word by word. The display is really eye-capturing for some reason and it could easily be a picture for an official LEGO catalogue if these were official sets. Excellent work Selander!
  5. 12/16 but I'm really not complaining since this contest is pure fun and it's really enjoyable. Now, you have to excuse me because I have an appointment with Mr Adrian Monk. We've got 4 minifigs to find.
  6. Indeed. Since my comeback in LEGO after coming out of dark ages that was two years ago, I've seen clone brands in toy stores here in Greece, varying from smaller brands to Megablocks.
  7. Great work Tracey, your son is really a natural! Both the interior and exterior look beautiful, the whole desing is eye-capturing and the use of transparent bricks is a great idea. Thanks for sharing! Couldn't agree more Chris. One of the great elements of the classic era.
  8. Very nice work that for some reason caught my attention. Well done Bingo Little, your village looks great! What I really like is that there are different sections of the layout that involve different activities and landscapes. All the small details look very nice and I particularly like the photo with the small dock. Good job! P.S Studs all the way.
  9. Not only LEGO. Click. In fact, there is only one official Exclusive LEGO Shop to my knowledge. I must agree on the other points though. All the facts you provide are true. Playmobil has a HUGE presence in almost every toy store here.
  10. Great work lightningtiger! I really like it because it has a "clean look". Although that it has some great details it still has this classic town appearance to some extend (simple but beautiful and detailed design at the same time). That's a win/win for me at least. Oh, and about the dilemma, trees for me. It makes the gas station look like an official set.
  11. Excellent work M_longer! Although that it looks a little big for my taste, I must admit that the attention to detail and the whole design makes it look great! At least Pam and Yasmine are present!
  12. Those Kingdoms sets look great! The big surprise is that they had the 7950 for 4 euros and it was only today I discovered that a normal price is around 7. Cheaper LEGO in Greece? They made a mistake in pricing I guess.
  13. A great thanks for your kind wishes guys! I had a fantastic day yesterday involving food, drinking (ouzo... -that's me this morning...) and trying to handle 31 candles. I had a great time with friends and family. Thanks guys! I appreciate it! After a dry summer, it was about time I got back to ABS and birthday is the perfect timing! Thanks for your wishes! You got it! Thanks Rick! Probably the most suitable cake ever! Aren't I adorable? (You gave me the perfect idea for next year. ) Thanks Fangy! I really hope that now that summer ended, I'll be around more. I hope that next year I'll get a time machine as a gift. Thanks for the wishes fellow islander! OPA! My god this looks delicious!!! I searched for the ingredients and now my stomach is complaining! The photo really did its job. Thanks for the wishes (and the drooling... ) def! Thanks again to all of you guys!
  14. Piece info It looked identical to the one it's been used in this set when I saw it for the first time.
  15. It looks absolutely great Stash! A huge thanks for doing that! If Zorbas can't go to Brickworld, the mountain will go to Mohammed his sig-fig will!
  16. Welcome to EB Kostas! Kalos irthes file! The Greek community keeps getting bigger! Now with you on board, we are four. One more and we'll be able to play basketball! You'll find many things to read and see in here so enjoy your stay and have fun! P.S Town and train sets for start? That's great!
  17. Very beautiful and enjoyable review Rufus! I personally find this set very nice since the whole idea of not-so-common-sets add variety in the City theme and reminds me of the great classic era days when you had sets that were from different activity fields (something that TLG has managed to "fix" during the last 2-3 years). The helicopter has a great colour scheme and I'm very happy to see the return of the classic engine piece. The limo is not something to die for but I consider it as an extra in the package so no problem. Oh, and the female minifig's head is the best that TLG has ever produced in my opinion! Thanks again for the great review! EDIT: It seems that it's not the classic era engine piece. My bad...
  18. You still need to get 266 more you know. Wonderful army Bonaparte! All minifigs together look great! The side shot is really impressive! I really can't wait to have some too. "Either with this or on this." Such a great ancient Greek/Spartan quote...
  19. At first I felt like Dr. House. After a lot of thinking and wondering the solution hit me and the camera zoomed in my "Gotcha!" face expression. .... Now I feel like Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theories. It seems that I've made my own crazy scenarios in my mind... Either I'm in the right direction or I'm thinking waaaaay outside the box.
  20. Excellent contest guys! This is really fun. I woke up today, took a cup of coffee and sat in front of my laptop saying "Let's see what we have today", having a smile on my face. It's like an Advent Calendar during Christmas holidays! A new excitement every day. 4/4 and marching on!
