Mundial! My favorite month every four years! The first match between South Africa and Mexico was OK I think. The only thing that I find very irritating is the issue with the vuvuzelas. Man, you can't even watch the game sometimes! It's like a swarm of bees coming right at you and that really bugs me. (no pun intented. ) Anyway, good luck to all the teams and always remember: Impossible is nothing. Long live the underdogs! Good luck to us today even if my expectations are low this year though. Vamos Greece!

Yep, Greece is in the Eurozone. Thanks for your interest Thee Pirate. I'll just have to wait and see if this set will eventually comes here and I'll let you know. Long story mein freund... Very very long to be precise, unfortunately...

Here you go Legonater.

Same here! I just love this set for many reasons. I'm a huge fan of ship-harbor oriented sets since my father was a captain in the past and I've spent thousands of hours as a kid in ships. I also happen to work in the Logistics - Supply Chain field and this would look just beautiful in my office! Oh yes, I know Maersk containers like the back of my hand!

The TRU truck set looks nice, especially having a small toy shop as an extra! This blue colour looks beautiful. It's still huge though but what the heck... P.S Since there are no TRU stores here in Greece, does this mean that this set is not going to be available in other physical toy shops? There were some sets in the past marked as "TRU Exclusive" and these sets made it to toy shops in Greece. Are we dealing with the same thing here?

A pair of ostriches made it to my house today.

Beautiful building and very city-ish! Gray works surprisingly great here and it's even better that you've used different tones of it. I just love the way you've used the container boxes in order to construct the columns! Excellent! Well done for once more ACCURATEin!

Alicia Keys with Jay-Z "Empire State Of Mind -- Live" Such a great tune! Let's hear it for New York. (Probably my honeymoon destination. )

First of all, a big congratulations to WhiteFang for running this contest, one of the best, most innovative and most creative I've seen in EB. Kudos Fangy! Secondly, a huge BRAVO to all the participants for their AMAZINGLY creative entries! Guys and gals, you all were great and I really mean that! Imagination still flourishes in this corner of the internet. Now, on to voting. It is very hard to pick even three since all entries were enjoyable but I think I 've resulted in my picks. So: 1 vote to Crash Dummy Entry by Oky Wan Kenobi. Just amazing! You've even found a way of being within limits by building the plane's tail like that. 1 vote to Clown Entry by Redcross. The most emotional (and melancholic) entry of all. A piece of art. 1 vote to Deep Sea Diver Entry by Torham. I just couldn't stop laughing at that! Great work for once more guys and gals and sorry for not being able to vote for more! This was a contest to enjoy for sure! Sorry for my long voting comment Fangy. I got carried away I guess.

I've read all the comments and this one sums it up. This exact phrase is being used from me many times, mostly trying to explain to others that a hobby that looks strange to some isn't strange in general and vice versa. People are Kings (I rule!) in their own minds sometimes, thinking that their hobby is the "right" and not so strange one, finding it natural. Everything is relevant I keep saying. It's just a matter of preference. I don't like F1. This doesn't mean that it's a crappy thing to watch or like or have as a hobby, I just don't like it. (Football FTW! )

Ha, ha nice! I can hear from here the screeching sound the (poor) guy makes by trying to stop. Excellent use of the ice cream piece to represent the dust and great colour choice for the surroundings. Btw, was he after Road Runner after all?
-
Cliche? Yes! That's why I love it! Very funny work! The heads you've used are excellent and the how do you call that on the woman's head is a success! Btw, this takes me back to my childhood: Andy FTW!

Great work Pep! The stage looks very beautiful! So much magic in one place... Magic: The Gathering takes a whole new meaning after this one I suppose!
-
That's great! I really like your creation de-marco! The bucket mechanism looks very nice and pretty functional. It's about time we had one of these vehicles in our layouts as an official set.

OMG happy birthday Sieggy! Enjoy your day and always be happy!

There was a conversation in the past about pricing within the EU and Europe in general and CopMike had received an answer from the Ambassador Forum. Check the post here. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't at all satisfied with that answer because some points just didn't make sense.

I bought my second PoP set today, the 7571 The Fight for the Dagger. I 've just finished building it and it looks beautiful with all these great new pieces! I also saw the Battle of Alamut in the toy store...Man, this is a MUST buy!

I just couldn't stop laughing at that!

Excellent architecture Jameson! The way the building is "leaning" forward makes it look fantastic and the SNOT structure of the roof looks amazing. What I really like is that the entrance along with the windows are in a vertical position and this produces an excellent contrast with the rest of the front side. Beautiful work! P.S Don't you just want to put your palm on the roof and feel the SNOT smoothness?

I never get tired of reading LEGO related background stories in an introduction topic and that was a very nice one. Welcome aboard B.C! Enjoy your stay, the journey has just started! We control the budget now!

Very beautiful work! The clean design of the front side is great and makes it very pleasing to the eye. What I really like are the columns, the entrance and my favorite is the colour scheme of the first floor. Tan, white and red produce an extremely beautiful result that's really eye-capturing! Great work!

Thanks for your very kind words def! After all, you were a great advisor as a teacher in the RA. I'm really glad to hear that this review had a small contribution in your decision of buying the set. The set itself was indeed a great way for the introduction of our little delicious cute friends and a great start for a pork frenzy! Enjoy the set! Oh, and remember: LEGO pigs are not suitable for a healthy and well balanced diet. (Tzatziki is most suitable on the other hand!)

I already have 10 out of 16. I got the cowboy yesterday and I must say that I'm really impressed with it! The quality is probably the best from the ones I have -- the printing is EXCELLENT, the colours very vivid and the head has the perfect yellow. Not to mention the dark tan fedora... It is officially my favorite minifig from the series and I don't think that any of the remaining six will change my mind. EDIT: Yeehaaw!!!

Extremely beautiful work Bobby! The two buildings look great next to each other and together they form a lovely street scene! The small details look fantastic (I love the tiles surrounding the windows) and the colour choice is really eye capturing. Not only each building looks beautiful with its colour scheme (tan and brown... ) but they also match being together. The motorcycle is --of course-- the cherry on the cake! Great work! P.S You won the first place! Congratulations to both of you! Enjoy the moment!
