  1. Great review Holodoc! This is a great set in my opinion especially having all these goodies that come with it. Lots of playable features, a great amount of vehicles (for a train set) and a very nice design. The only bad thing is that it costs 259 euros here. Should I laugh or should I cry? The latter I guess... Thanks again for the review!
  2. Santa Klaus-Dieter in the middle of August! Thanks for all the infos, both these and the City ones K-D. Series 3 does sound promising indeed.
  3. Welcome to EB. I just have one small question: The above quote is from your signature. Do you mean that this is your own personal YouTube account? (I think I'm having a déjà vu regarding specific EB accounts...)
  4. Thanks KimT! The minifig looks fantastic! I honestly must get several of those! The helmet looks great and it is the highlight in my opinion! (Sorry for the enthusiasm. Obvious reasons you see... ) P.S I was a Hoplite too during my military service. The name (or rank if you like) is still being used today in the Greek Army. No, not with spears.
  5. Such a GREAT review Rufus!! Highly detailed, amazing pictures, what else can somebody ask for? Although that the absence of the fourth wall is a definite plus, I don't really like the shape of the building. OK, there are many interior and exterior details but the whole structure looks a bit boring and looks just like the previous buildings shown on the box. A vertical "wall", lacking that extra ingredient that could turn it into a beauty. I really hope that TLG won't start a "catalogue display policy." (The type of buildings we see in LEGO catalogues showing City displays. They all look the same and boring and just fill the scenery.) The female's minifig head on the other hand is excellent and very beautiful! Probably the best female head TLG has ever made IMO. (Fell in love with a minifig, fell in love with her eyes... ) Thanks again for this amazing review Rufus!
  6. OLE OLE OLE!!! Top of the World! Well done Spain! Vamos!
  7. Never underestimate the will and the power of Paul. On a serious note, I too believe that Germany will qualify to the final. Holland VS Germany, sounds just great.
  8. You've returned to bring us the good word. What word you ask? I just looove Family Guy! One of the few things that still make me laugh when watching.
  9. Neither do I to be honest. It's just that these kind of reactions are not common in today's football universe. (Again, taking into consideration the importance and the score at that time point.) It's one of those moments that will stay in my mind as a memory from this WC for sure. EDIT: Too bad that the majority of videos that float on the net are just focusing on the hit. It would have been a valuable lesson for all the over-hyped stars out there.
  10. Mertesacker. The ball hit his face with great force and speed and all he did was to go to defend his team for the corner kick Argentina gained. Just like that. Simply, like nothing had happened. Not falling down to gain more (valuable) time, no complaining, no nothing. Just a high-five with the keeper and back on the work. I smiled when I saw that.
  11. Great work BlueBard! The whole concept is weirdly funny! I really like the way you've placed the minifigs, especially the piano player (Sam?) and the marakas shaker (Jim Carrey?) They look very natural the way they are like that. Btw, ZZ TOP rock!
  12. That's a TEAM. (Formed by great players of course.) Well done Germany! (Why four thumbs you ask? )
  13. A HUGE thanks from me for not supporting my country's team in Euro 2004. That explains it all.
  14. (I was REALLY laughing for 3 minutes!)
  15. All credits go to Canavaro for the avatar. I don't have a Latin name for nothing I suppose. It was my childhood's dream to hold this particular trophy in my hands (from Mexico '86). ....and still is... ....and I did it!!!
  16. I've just read Sunday's New York Post cover. That was funny!
  17. For all the Star Wars fans (and not only ) out there.
  18. This is one of the most beautiful 8-wide vehicles I've ever seen! Fantastic job ACCURATEin!
  19. I've just returned home and saw Lampard's shot/goal...
  20. If I tell you that the japanese team has a Honda, will you change your mind? Japan has made a great progress btw and it's one of the most organised teams in this World Cup.
  21. Couldn't agree more. The last 20 minutes were like riding a rollercoaster. Too bad Italy "woke up" at the last 20 minutes of the third game. I can't wait for Sunday's game btw!
  22. Well done USA! You deserved it!

    MOC: Holidays

Great work anna! The caravan looks beautiful and I love all the surroundings. Great use of the Toy Story Army Men base piece. As others have already daid, it is indeed a very relaxing scene. (If we take for granted that the little boy handles the bow and arrow properly of course! ) Keep up the great work!
