  2. I am eating a croissant

  3. Thanks Brickington! It has been added to the index
  4. All of the non-official comics from Tournament of Retribution III MstrOfPppts Admiral Croissant dr_spock Capt. Stabbin Brickington Mazin Scorpiox Efullner Blackar Commander Red Hat / Captain Green Hair Skalldyr Purpearljellyblob
  5. As a matter of fact, I have done about the same thing, but only the non-official comics and with images. This, together with the voting threads (which are also lists of all the comics with images) will be added to the Pirates Master Index soon. Still, I think I will also provide a link to your index as it provides a different kind of overview and because otherwise it would be too bad for all the effort you put into this. If you could also make one for the Bluecoats that would be great An index is only good when it's complete
  6. ...AND THE VOTING IS CLOSED I'll count the votes, contact the winners about prizes and then I'll make a Winners Announcement Thread soon. Thanks for all the votes!
  7. Welcome to Classic-Pirates.com! That's a very promising start! I like the colourscheme, and the rest of the ship is quite accurate too. I think you did a very good job on deck details, overall proportions and masts/yards. I agree with Mr. Townsend about the studding sail yards though, and about the shape of the ship. Your ships inverts too much at the stern (blue). It can look more smoothly (red), perhaps by looking at Perfectionists ships. Next to that, I think the stern can be improved. It should be quite large, and the horizontal length should be more than the vertical. Something like this: Good luck!
  8. That's great! Thanks for sharing! I hope he'll join Classic-Pirates some day. He did try it once but he said he couldn't get an account.. I'll index it soon and comment on it on MOCpages.
  9. Voting for the final round of the Third Redcoats vs. Bluecoats Tournament of Retribution is now open. The top 3 vote getters will get a prize. You have (5) points to award, but you can't give all 5 points to 1 entry. So you'll have to give your vote to at least 2 entries. And you can't vote for yourself. Just name the participants and the number of votes you give. Further discussion can be held in the Rules Thread. (an incorrect vote doesn't count) Each entry's title is a link to the full comic, so please have a read and get ready to laugh! Voting for this round will conclude on March, 29th, so be sure to vote for those you want to be the winners! Also, don't vote just for the best quality images. Fun and humiliation are also very important! The winner gets to choose one of the 3 prizes, then the second place can choose one of the remaining two, an the third place gets the one that's left. 1. Blackar Redcoat Marioworld 2. Brig. Brick Story of Two Coats 3. Esurient Diary of a Wimpy Redcoat 4. Frank Brick Wright An Easter Tale 5. Grimmbeard And that Kids, is how we Beat those Redcoats 6. The Inventor An unexpected (Turn)coat? 7. MstrOfPppts Jackie the Legend 8. Purpearljellyblob Happily Ever After 9. Sebeus I Once and For All 10. Skalldyr Everyone in his own Way 11. Dr_Spock Bearer of Good News
  10. It's time to vote for the final round of the Third Tournament of Retribution in the Pirate MOCs Forum! 11 great comics have been made by the finalists, with a much higher photo-edit quality than this image: We'd especially like to have the opinion of those who weren't too closely involved in the whole tournament
  11. There's always the Historic Ships Index with many detailed pictures of HMS Surprise (and other ships). So if you want to point out certain details, you could use that one. Here we have the figurehead for example:
  12. Aww, how nice! That's too kind, you didn't need to do that! As a matter of fact, it isn't the worst death to eat croissants and go out with a bang. Except for the Hello Kitty underwear. But I don't quite understand why darkness fell upon the land, why Croissant the marshmallow immediately hid after the fall, why they were in a hurry when I exploded anyway and why The Marshmallow wasn't sad that his brother died. Nevertheless, I think this comic has some of the best MOCs, photography and editing I've seen during this ToR
  13. First: Long live the Bluecoats! Second: Nice entry It may look simple at first sight, but I can see you made quite a lot of MOCs for this comic. Especially the toilet and the reader's room are well done. I think this is one of the best comics so far showing the difference between redcoats and Bluecoats. Hopefully the voters will also see this so they know which side they need to choose in the next ToR
  14. I don't believe the redcoats can make a machine that actually works. We play the game and defeat you when we've all become "redcoats". Still, it's a nice idea and I wish you good luck in this final round
  15. Very good entry I had to laugh about the soldier falling upside down just like those turtles in the game. This is a very original idea and well executed. Those brick wall LEGO bricks are perfect for those platforms and the background is exactly right. Nevertheless, I expect there to be many more levels and Bluecoats you need to beat in order to win the game!
  16. Good entry! Why share dinner with the enemy when you could eat everything by yourselves? I like it that you've used so many avatars. And even though you made a pie instead of killing them, it's still a great sight!
  17. It's good to see a bit of romance amidst all the fighting, torturing, humiliating and cursing. After all, it won't be long until we need to shut the RvB thing for a while until the next ToR. Still, I also really enjoyed all the humiliation in this comic, and of course this ToR isn't completely over yet. You did a great job here on the editing, and I especially like how you made all the official tv-show logos. Well done!
  18. Too bad they didn't immediately train an army of crocodiles and get everyone of them killed. Anyway, this shows what happens when you give authority to a crab. Nice one!
  19. Good final entry. But what you did to Frank Brick Wright...that's just awful! Nevertheless, everything is very well executed, almost every image is a seperate MOC. Well done! About the pig in the last picture, I'm sure it would fit better on the Redcoat team picture
  20. Excellent entry! I like the Sin-City-only-red-colour-effect Good job on the silhouette in the light as well on the one but last picture. I didn't see myself getting killed this time. But perhaps this is even worse..
  21. That is both very true Anyway, I enjoyed organizing the tournament, and I'm sure there will be another one somewhere in the future. It was difficult sometimes, but I believe everything went quite well and I learned quite a lot along the way. It's just based on the third one.
  22. Time's up! Too bad for ZCerberus but I guess he hasn't even started working on an entry. I'll work on a voting thread which will be open on the 22nd of March. Thanks for participating! I had great fun reading all the entries!
  23. ? Where did you get that from? You must have edited it in your quote 2013 it should be. But we're well under way. The redcoats are lacking behind and time is running out! Our chances of winning are getting higher by the minute!
  24. You definitely did a good job here! I like the colourscheme, the proportions, the deck details and the fact that it has an interior. I'm not sure if I should index it right now though. I think you could make it more perfect with some small adjustments. For example, you really did a great job on the sails, but I think the spanker sail should be larger. It should almost reach the deck and there should be another beam at the bottom. The sail just above it (mizzen topsail) should have another yard as well. You can see this if you look closely to a picture of HMS Surprise. Also, the edges of the crow's nests should be rounded at the front. Nevertheless, like I said, you already did a great job. I really like the stern and the rigging is of a high standard for it being a LEGO ship.
  25. What a great last comic! Perhaps they should have been mooning before they killed that boat of redcoats though Nevertheless, I really like it. Photography and editing looks good and the set is nice too with a whole town and a few ships. Good that we got rid of those cowards. Good luck in the contest!
