Did you make the file?! If so, what I do with larger models, so break them up in smaller builds. Group them by parts of the build, ei, cockpit, fuselage, wings, tail. If you didn't make the file, use the hide function. build from the bottom up and hide bricks as you build the model. Good luck, Jamie

Does anybody have any info on, 5002125 Electro polybag , I really want this, but, can't find anything about it. Plus don't want to pay Ebay and Bricklink prices for it, $100+! Ouch!! I know they were available at Kidfest in Virgina, IIRC. But, that was the last I heard! Thanks, Jamie -
I liked it. It wasn't my kinda of music, I prefer something alittle heavier, ok, a lot heavier. Pantera and Slayer are some of my favorites. But, I think you guys are very talented and if you keep at it, I could see you guys going places. Congrats, Jamie

Wow, I was just going to start to build a Slave II. I just finished the other 4 ships, Hounds Tooth, Punishing One, Mist Hunter, and IG-2000. I thought I was the only one who wanted the these ships. Great model. I looks awesome. I downloaded the file for it. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. But, it looks great in real bricks. Nice job, Jamie

Monetizing file sharing of LDD LXF files?
jamie75 replied to sparkart's topic in Forum Information and Help
instead of using a secondary site, just have people send you the money via paypal. Than send them the file. As for the money, I would think a few dollars would be fine. Anio charges a standerd $5, I think. But, if you want to send more, you can. Even $10 is fine for a file or instrcutions for model. The thing that gets me, is the people who think the the file for their model is worth $100. Seriously had a guy tell me he would send me the LDD file for one his models for $100, once. I passed! Hope this helps. Jamie- 12 replies

We drink a lot of Coke products in our house. My wife and use the Coke Rewards system. For those that don't know what Coke Rewards is. It is a program Coke runs, where they print codes inside there products. Under the caps of 2 liters. Inside the cardboard 12 and 24 packs. After you open the 2 liter, 12 or 24 pack, you go to Cokerewards.com. Enter the code and after you get so many points, you can get free pop/ soda, Coke gear, gift cards, etc. The codes are a mix of letters and numbers and about 20 characters long. So, my question/ suggestion is. Could we get Lego to get a similar system running inside their already established VIP program. That way, even if you buy a set of Meijer's, Target, Toys'r'Us, Wally-World. You can still get the points for it in their VIP system. Maybe, they could do full points at Lego.com and in Lego Stores, ie, spend $20 get 20 points. If you buy from somewhere else, you get 1/2 points. So, spend $20 at Toys'r'Us and get 10 points. Something is better then nothing. What do you guys think, Jamie

Glad someone has the time to build these. Work sucks and it's only getting worse. Not the job, but being away from home. Anyways, I like it. Hopefully one day I will get these. You said you built it smaller, where I couldn't see it. Jamie

I just went through these and built them all over the last week or so. Completed them all and took pics of them. Pics of the collection can be viewed here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=553754 All are complete, except Lightning and Sally from 8487. These are "custom"! I didn't like the look the tiles sticking out of the sides, so I made them look alittle "cleaner". Make me an offer. Thanks, Jamie
-
Still for sale. Make me an offer if you want! I have built 8 of the sets to verify contents. Still need to build the 2 bigger sets in the lot, Mack and Lightning, and Flo's V8 Cafe. I will probably get to these over the next few days. Thanks, Jamie

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
jamie75 replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A couple fo things to consider. 1) Color, is it Light Gray or Light Bluish Gray. Light Gray parts are more expensive. 2) Parts, If you have the wheels used for the engines, the magnets and magnet holders, the wash tubs for the engines and the parts for the globes on the top of the ship. It's not a hard or expensive set to bricklink. But, if your missing any of these, it going to get expensive. The wheels used for the engines start at $30 and go up from there. You need 3 of these. The magnets are cheap, starting at .35¢, but, you need 28 of these. The holder for the magnets get pricey, there are 2 different types used in the ISD. One is cheap and easy to find, starting at about .05¢, but the other is hard to get and starts at about $8 each and you need 14 of them. The wash tubs used for the engines start at about $10 each. The globes on the top of the ship are 2 pieces. The bottom starts at about $48 and the top is about a $1. If you have these, go for it. If you missing some, see what you have versues what you need. If you missing all or most of these. I wouldn't suggest it. But, that's me. Good luck, Jamie -
Pantera Slipknot old Metallica, haven't liked anything of theirs, since the Black Album Some Megadeth Five Finger Death Punch

After this lot, the only themes I will have are Star Wars and Superheroes. I would like to sell these as a lot. Using the 6 month averages on Bricklink, I came up with a total of $275 for these. I will offer free shipping in the US if you buy these. I can also work on international if needed. Please ask questions and make offers. I would like payment via paypal. I may also be open to trades. I am after any 2015 Superheroes or Star Wars sets. Thanks for looking, Jamie

I have wanted a Galactus figure for awhile now, who doesn't have "wish list". So, thought I would try my hand at making one. Thing and Human Torch are 2 of my favorites Marvel characters. My dad's was Silver Surfer. I have read alot of FF comics and personally, I wouldn't say the 2 movies were bad. But, they are far from what I think Marvel would have done with them. Also, if a FF3 movie was made, I feel, we would have got a proper Galactus. This is also, my first time editting a pics, so be gentle!! Like most of the things I do in LDD, I do plan on building this in real bricks, but, I seem to be building more and more in LDD and less and less in real bricks. Both time and money are factor! Also, Lego doesn't make alot of bricks in purple, so I may have to settle for replacing the purple on him with red. Not a huge trade off! I think he looks good. Here is a shot of the FF trying to talk Galactus into not eating earth! Maybe not the best setting for them, but, I liked the building in the background, it looks like the Baxter Building with the 4 on it. I also made 2 Fantasticar, one from the comics and one from the movies. Both can fit 4 figure, but, neither can fit a Thing Big Fig, if they make him like Hulk. I also, posted this to Lego Ideas, if you would like to vote on it. I'm sure it would need to be scaled down. As he sits, he has 2550 pieces in him. I don't think he is a big enough draw to warrent a set like this. FF isn't Batman, or the Avengers. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/88998 Thanks, Jamie

You guys read my mind, I have been working on a Galactus for a little while now. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/88998 I figured, with the success of The X-Mansion and Wayne Manor, why not. Jamie

MLCad New user issues with Grid
jamie75 replied to kieran's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
While I may not be the best person to answer this, I will tell you. I used to be an avid MLCAD user. Building a ton of models in it, that I than, in turn built in real bricks. And, I want to say yes, this is normal. If IIRC, anytime you switch between course and fine grid. You will have a problem. Once you start using fine, your stuck with it for the rest of the model. I now use, LDD and haven't looked back to MLCAD in years. Try it, if you haven't. I find it alot easier to use. Hope this helps, Jamie -
I have the following for sale or trade. I am running out of room again and need to get rid of these as they are taking up a shelf, I need for Star Wars. Racers ---------------------------- 4582 Red Bullet 4584 Hot Scorcher 4585 Nitro Pulverizer 8356 Jungle Monster 8357 Zonic Strike $20 for the lot. Fire --------------------------- 7906 Fire Boat 7944 Fire Hovercraft $55 for the lot. Construction --------------------------------------- 7249 XXL Mobile Crane 7344 Dump Truck 7632 Crawler Crane 7644 Single-Drum Roller 7685 Dozer 7905 Tower Crane $300 for the lot Dino Attack -------------------------------------------------------- 7473 Street Sprinter vs. Mutant Lizard 7474 Urban Avenger vs. Raptor 7475 Fire Hammer vs. Mutant Lizards 7476 Iron Predator vs. T-Rex 7477 T-1 Typhoon vs. T-Rex $180 for the lot. Dino ---------------------------------------------- 5882 Ambush Attack $10 5883 Tower Takedown $25 5884 Raptor Chase $40 5885 Triceratops Trapper $40 5886 T-Rex Hunter $70 $180 for the lot. I would like to get rid of these by the lots, I used Bricklinks 6 month averages for the prices. I can work with shipping, but, will try to use USPS flat rate boxes. They are all still built, if you want pics, ask. International shipping for some of these lots maybe expensive, the Dino and Dino Attack lots will be big with the Dinos. All are build, but, should be/ are complete. They have been on my shelves for years. My wants are as follows: 75059 Sandcrawler - UCS 76023 The Tumbler 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer 75054 AT-AT Thanks for looking, Jamie

Maybe give all 16 builders another full turn, but, limit the pieces this time to 100 or 200. 1600 pieces should be able to finish this model and flesh out the details. But, there is a big open space between the store and the jail, maybe a train station should go there. 200 should be able to finish the train station too. Jamie

I'm sure there is a way to do it, that is less labor intensive, but..... First I upload the LXF file to Rebrickable, than, if I need to, I export the BSX file to Brickstore. Brickstore doesn't allow LDD or LXF files, just MPD/ LDR from Ldraw/ MLCAD. But, Rebrickable is/ can be problematic if you have to fix alot of errors. So, try to upload the LXF to Rebrickable. If all the parts have the correct part numbers and colors, your good to go. But, if there are errors that need fixing, try exporting it. Another thing I like about Brickstore vs. Rebrickable, is I can get an estimate on how much it is to build a model. Hope this helps, Jamie

I'd give this a second turn! 3 builders left and alot to do yet. More, than I think they can do with the 300 piece max in place. My computer should handle it. I have a model on here with 4000+ pieces in it, so I think I'll be OK! Jamie
