Great review! I'll hopefully be getting this set soon, along with Gold Heist. However, I have one question, and if anyone who owns this set could answer it for me I'd be most grateful: Is the Alien's head the bright orange (Like the ones used in most of the Agents villains torsos) or a darker shade? Sorry if this has been asked before. I hope it's a darker shade, as I think the bright orange could be too much, but I'll have to wait until I see the fig in person to judge for myself. I'm glad all that spamming has stopped. I can post again!... After monthhs of waiting for Titan Mata Nui, his dramatic entry is ruined.....by talk of cheese! Ha. He looks like a decent set, though, and, if I'm not mistaken, a Metru Head. He's a bit lanky, a bit skeletal, but personally, I like that. Very Tim Burton :) What I managed to pick out in the spamfest regarding 2010 was something like this: Green pieces, giant centipede, parasite launchers......multiple extra limbs......and I saw some really quite nice pictures that someone had drawn of them. Of course, whether this is genuine leaked info or just another part of the spamfest, I don't know! Thanks for making us a new topic, anyway. Will/Rocketbilly

I just ordered Squidman Escape and both the impulses from S@H - Can't wait. Not sure if I should get Freeze Ray Frenzy, or Gold Heist next time I get a set.... Will/Rocketbilly

I know the feeling about LEGO stores in the UK. Nearest one to me was Birmingham, the Bullring one. Birmingham for me is about half an hours' train ride, from the town about 20 minutes away. So it's a long and expensive journey to make. However, I HAVE to make the journey - the specialist hospital I have to go to is a few minutes away from Birmingham City centre.....so, every scan or test I had to have, I got a trip to the LEGO store......but.....it's closed down now. Now there are NO Lego stores even remotely close to me.....Brighton? that's at least five hours away...... I just hope S@H can keep up with the demand for Space Police from us UK customers. WIll/Rocketbilly

I'm So relieved that we're getting Space Police here in the UK - I just hope that they can keep up with demand for the sets on S@H, as I wont be travelling to any Lego stores since the Birmingham one closed, and chances of me going to Legoland are rather slim. I also hope we'll see the impulse sets up for purchase soon, too. nice find! Will/Rocketbilly

I like this set. I loved it when I first saw it, now I only like it. It's still great, but the lack of handlebars has lost some points with me. But I will still definitely get it, as Agents is my favourite theme, and I can only afford the cheaper sets. IMHO, it's worth the money....though I'm not sure why the agent has lost his gun from the prelim pics. I'll probably end up moding the bike, either finding some way to give it handlebars, or just converting it to a "normal" bike. And the Agents vehilce, in my opinion is fine as it is. I just wish we'd get an Agents 2.0 set with Spyclops in it. Preferably a cheap one. Anyway, great review, very well done :) thank you. Kind regards Will/Rocketbilly

Does anyone from near Leicester know any good shops for Lego? Dominoes is great, but they don't have impulses anymore (impulsese are what I'm mainly looking for) I've yet to visit TRU....apart from that, I'm stuck! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Will/Rocketbilly

I too have found this annoying. I think only about four of the Miners have names, the rest are just..generic miners, I suppose. I believe the "Geologist" guy is "Brains" (Mine Mech Pilot) The Team Leader is...Doc...I think (Has a star on his torso, grey sleeves and yellow hands).....I think he comes in the Thunder Driller set The "Chief Mechanic" is Rex.....that's the chap with stubble and a scar.... And the other named character is.....Duke...I believe he's the most experienced miner...or something....he's the guy who drives the Thunder Driller, and has a sort of big stubbly grey beard....thing I got all this from the current UK issue of Jetix Magazine....it has a double page spread on Power Miners, a PM poster...and best of all a free Rock Monster :D Hope this helps!...doubt it will though..sorry Will/Rocketbilly

I got mine today, now I only need Firox to get the whole set of monsters :) And that Power Miners poster you get looks awesome....pretty out of place next to Robert Smith and MCR on my walls....but....it's awesome! Though £4 is a bit pricey, it's still cheaper than getting it off bricklink or buying the Claw Digger set! Will/Rocketbilly

I presume that "Metal Gear Skopio" is going to be the most expensive set this year? It looks great, and I wish I could buy it but I just can't see me getting it. Has anyone got a decent estimate as to how tall it is? Will/Rocketbilly Sorry, that's what I meant. But surely it couldn't cost THAT much for us to get one extra Thornax per set? But if I had to chosse between one extra Thornax.....or stronger, better plastic....I'd definitely go for the plastic....I only like the Thornax launcher on a few of the sets, and others I will/plan to leave them off. So I suppose my sets with launchers can get the unused ones. I wish TLC would bring back Ammo Packs. Will/Rocketbilly

Wow. I've read the rumours of a bigger Mata Nui, but I think this makes it almost certain to happen. I think wat Grag means by a "Larger Version" of the Mata Nui model is basically Tuma sized set :D Hopefully with the gold Ignika. But regardless of what he's wearing on his head....he'll most probably still have a weirdly small head and hands =[...and feel then need to carry a Thornax launcher =[ Speaking of Thornax, has anyone discected a Thornax yet? I'm interested to see what's inside them since it feels like there's something solid inside - it's a mystery Maybe I'll get one off bricklink and "science it up" Will/Rocketbilly

Wow. After reading a few opinions, I thought I'd provide mine: Canister Sets: I prefer the Winter sets we have now, to be honest. Some of these are basically more Inika clones. Which sucks. But at least we get some recoloured pieces. The white chest armour on Gelu looks very useful for my Takanuva Mistika canister MOC. Ackar looks pretty good, regardless of his Inika-ness. That flame sword is awesome. I'm SO glad it's not the piece in the new Castle sets as some people thought. And with the right pieces, using his helmet would let us make an alternative, red Berix. The joy I wish Mata Nui had a gold mask. I also wish it WAS a mask.....not a helmet.....I also WISH he had a Metru head, perhaps with the short eye piece in ice blue. Oh well. His weapons suck, too...what's it supposed to be? a shield? or a garden prong? I'll still get him though...as he IS my favourite...plus....he IS Mata Nui, after all. Stronius - a nice little set. Good to add to my Skrall army.....if I ever progress its ranks beyond one Skrall :D The rest of the canisters are okay. Not to great, but a lot better than, say...the Mistika. THe bigger sets are a let down, I think. Sure..they may look nice but I was hoping, like many of us, for animals...or at least generic titan sized figures. The Spikit sucks I think...but I suppose with the right amount of green pieces it can be salvaged. As for "Metal Gear Skopio"....I love it. But will not be getting it. It will be too far out of my price range. Will/Rocketbilly

Amen to that, brother! Having said that, I don't think the pricing of the Power Miners line has been too bad...compared to some...*Cough* BIONICLE *Cough* £3.99 for about 14 pieces? pfft...not great. But Power Miners...the same gets you....more than double that, two great minifigs and some fairly uncommon parts, too But I suppose, with the economy being what it is (though I don't pretend to know too much about it)...I suppose the prices are an unfortunate price we have to pay. Sucks to be us Will/Rocketbilly
