  1. Umm, you know these are only six likely promotional sets that probably have nothing to do with actual story, right? The actual sets are evidently going to be better, according to Front. SO I don't think you should give up on BIONICLE just because four promotional sets don't fit your fancy . . .
  2. I really really hope these get to stores soon. Even though they won't. :<
  3. I tried it out while making a ChiBionicle Rahkshi, and it does look kinda weird from the side. It works really well for hunchbacks though. :3
  4. Ohshit. Are you thinking . . . LHIKAN?
  5. Hmm, a Brown Rahkshi would be cool, but a blue Piraka would mean Vezok. Which makes me mildly sad because I was hoping for Vezon, not his former self/half. (And I don't think Avak was enough of a character to justify a rerelease of. :/)
  6. HOLY AWESOME BATMAN. Those things may be some of the greatest things I've ever seen come from BIONICLE in recent years. HOLY. CRAPPING. AWESOME. I'm getting at least three of these as soon as possible. Tahu or Taka first. O: (Also, notice how Target says they're available in stores? I think we may get these much earlier than planned . . .)
  7. And you kind of look ridiculous with skepticism. Anyway, I completely agree with Darkness Falls, but I don't really think they have new/poesable limbs. As much as we want them, it really doesn't seem like we'll get them anytime soon . . . :/
  8. Wait, I may have an idea how they could fit this anniversary theme into actual story. The anniversary figures exist in Vezon's alternate dimension from RoS. Therefore these sets can be released without any real effect on the actual story, and Vezon can be rereleased next year! (This is assuming 'BIONICLE Stars" are still a side-branch of the main figures for 2010. If it's not, then I've got no clue how this could work. >_>)
  9. I really can't tell . . . It looks like some type of object with three protrusions at the front/bottom. It kinda looks like the Thornatus, actually . . . A golden, presumably miniature Thornatus? o_O
  10. That's a really nice photo of Maxilos and Spinax. Great posing and great lighting. :D
  11. I think these aren't actually gonna be characters in the story, I think they're just rereleases of important characters from all most of the Years in BIONICLE so far. 2001-Tahu 2002-None (Unless they do a Bohrok rerelease later in the year. 2003-Takanuva/"Rahkshi" 2004-None (Sadly) 2005-None (Thankfully) 2006-"Piraka" (And dear God, I hope it's Vezon.) 2007-None 2008-None 2009-Gresh/Skrall So important characters from the most iconic BIONICLE years, I guess. (Except '04. Which makes me sad. >:) Oh man! This is sooooo cool!!!!
  12. HOLY SHIT. If this "BIONICLE Stars" line is just remakes of old sets as smaller and more affordable Av-Matoran/Agori sets, I'm totally for it!!! I really hope these are real. Especially since it would mean an Av-Matoran/Agori head-compatible Hau, Avohkii, and whatever they use for "Piraka"'s face. I'm swelling with excitement! Eiieee!!!
  13. Do you mean his voice is deeper, or the intro's subject matter is deeper?
  14. Hey was just wondering if anyone noticed that this movie came out yesterday . . . (Then again, we've all probably seen it already. I've seen it seventeen times at this point, actually . . .)
  15. Hey, um, did anyone notice that RoS updated an undisclosed amount of time ago. Go read it. It seems to presume that Tren Krom is going to contact Mata Nui somehow. Which might actually give the current 2010 set list some credibility.
  16. The book is mainly told from Gelu's perspective (In third-person), so that's a lot of the book . . .
  17. HOLY. CRAP. Those have got to be the greatest things I have ever seen. Please thell me they're real, and not just fancy MOCs.
  18. So, I've been addicted to this movie. Which is really sad becuase I can't tell if I actually like it or not. I've already watched it six or seven times, though. I also noticed that the music is well composed, but in a lot of places it's chopilly edited. Unlike the first three, which were in my opinion better in many respects to this movie. (I also noticed a musical callback to the original three (Specifically LoMN) when we're entering Mata Nui's waist connection place. There's a chord or two that really sound like a musical callback to the original three movies. Listen to it a few times, I'm sure you'll hear it.)
  19. Saw it earlier today. Really great film. I really enjoyed it, but the scenes where , but I shouldn't be a critic. The animation was really good, and I thought the story was pretty good too. All in all, Shane Acker seems like a really good director.
  20. That third symbol looks really familiar. I think it's been seen before in the MU, I just don't remember where . . .
  21. That would be a really interesting change of pace. I think knowing exactly what the Glatorian looked like in the middle of last year kinda made they're arrival when they finally got to shelves less interesting and momentous.
  22. Really? Where did you hear that?
