Wait, the stars are the last sets using the Av-Matoran build!?!? NOOOO!!! I absolutely LOVED the Av-Matoran build. It was perfectly simplistic, and could be used to make some really cool things if you had enough imagination. (Zesk, Rahkshi, and Skrall are perfect examples of this. This news saddens me. >':

He jossed this himself when he said that if he ever got tired of BIONICLE, or ran out of ideas, he'd just be quickly and unceremoniously replaced. But the fact that the Skakdi isn't Vezon makes me sad, because I thought it would've been a really good idea to re-introduce Vezon into the newer stuff. D':

If BIONICLE's ending, I hope it's replaced by something set in the same universe, and maybe with some of the same characters, just without the BIONICLE branding. (I mean, once the Toa Mata's destiny is complete, the word 'BIONICLE' will become meaningless anyway.) I want something set in the far future, or far past. Maybe about the Core War or something. 'Core War' sounds like a pretty badass name for a LEGO theme anyway, don'tcha think?

Very nicely done. The color scheme with the contrast between dark black and bright orange accents thrown in is really brilliant IMO. I also love the concept of the driver become literally fused with the vehicle. That's a concept you don't really see much in BIONICLE vehicle MOCs, and it's a very good one at that. Perhaps the only problem I have with the set is the gaping emptiness under the driver. But that's minor since the driver covers it up in most angles. Well done!

I was thinking about BIONICLE Heroes with the golden toa thing too! (I wonder how they'll possibly fit it in the story, though . . . )

I want both Inika and Mahri stars. Liek, we could get Kongu Inika, and Matoro Mahri. (And then we could get Vakama Metru. The other three could be Takadox, an orange Vahki, and Roodaka. xD)

Wow. Takadox is AMAZING! I love the effect you did with the water, and even the pose itself is really awesome. Out of curiosity, how did you manage to get that water effect with Takadox? Given the fact that you've said you use a long exposure time, the singular drops of water shouldn't be visible.

We have no clue who it actually is. The set is just called "Piraka". Nothing more, nothing. And it's never implied to be Vezok. (Aside from the weapon. But maybe Vezon just randomly picked it up in his alternate universe. [Maybe even stole it from alternate Vezok after mudering him. :D])

Well, if the Great Beings created the Matoran and Mata Nui on Spherus Magna, then they would have also created Kanohi on Spherus Magna. Not only that, but Artakha created the Toa Mata while still technically on Spherus Magna. So that means that the only form the adaptive armor could take is that of the only time the Toa Mata were on Bara Magna. (Because there's no other biomechanical life-forms for it to use as a template.)

Very true. Perhaps being outside of Mata Nui has that effect on adaptive armor. Since the last time Tahu was a toa Mata, he was only outside of Mata Nui . . .

What if the reason Greg doesn't know if BIONICLE's ending or not is because not even knows?

Wow, really nicely done! I do agree that the edges are choppy, but I've used Anime Studio, and I know it does that to imported images, so that's not really your fault. I can't wait to see these animations!

Totally awesome . . . so Makuta Teridax' destiny does have something to do with Mata Nui after all. I had hoped he would play a huge role in something. And it gives much more meaning to he and Mata Nui being 'brothers'. I'm not sure I like the idea of the Stars being canon, though. D,:

It happens every year around this time. Last November I got Antroz for like, nine bucks. I think it's because of good sales. If the sales weren't good, then they wouldn't drop the price . . . (And likely to get rid of the current line to make room for the next one.)

Are you sure? I can't see a smile on the Stars poster, and I think that's the closest thing of a front shot we have of it . . . Also, the Stars listing has been taken off of Target. o:

I do think the Piraka set is pretty interesting. My only qualm with it is the lack of a smile. D:

So uhh, Greg evidently seems to be hinting at a Kiina/Mata Nui relationship-type thing for next year. What're your guys' opinions on that? (It's been a slow week. :P)

Heywaitaminute. What if Tarduk and co. find a beacon to the Red Star at the end of Riddle of The Great Beings, and tell Mata Nui and co. about it. Since Makuta is planning to use the red star to get to other planets anyway, Mata Nui and co. hitch a ride on it to get to the MU?

It's kind of looking like the BIONICLE Stars are all we're getting Winter next year . . .

Do you guys remember this game? I was heavily promoted throughout all of 2006 and everyone thought it would bridge huge gaps in the original story of 2006. Then instead the game turned out to be completely non-canon and everyone but me hated it. I really liked the game, I got it in early '07 for the PS2 and I really enjoyed it for a while, then forgot about it for awhile. Recently I've acquired the game for the DS, and so far I lie it quite a bit more than I liked the PS2 version. It's a pretty good game, and has relatively good graphics. (Expecially for a DS game.) Do any of you guys remember/still play/like/hate it? (And even if you don't like it, I think we can all agree it's ten times better than the original BIONICLE game. )
