Sorry in the link from deskp there is a brown T Rex and I was just saying I have the green and brown one the same but looking at the picture I want the brown one too. But back on topic the question was would a Smaug work if it was like that T Rex in size and style. I think it would and it would go well with my T Rex too.

Bigger would be good but remember the eagle, I don't think it will be as big as people want. I don't mind all this minifig size thing, if everything had to be the right size we would have to miss out on a lot cos they would not make it or it would cost too much As long as it looks good I will be happy.

There is so much detail in this set but with one thing missing, the moth.

well its still better to have 2 different figs than 2 the same but yes I don't mind having 2 the same but some people will. I would be happy if we got more than 5 figs. If you look at other sets I think we could have got more but like I said before I love the build and this great tower is the reason to buy the set not the minifigs.

Also I should have said great work Rufus and I for one love all the black, I could make good use of it all but as I am unlikely to take it apart I still need more black.

it is always nice to get one off minifigs in a set of this size, it add something to the set and this set does a really bad job with the minifigs, yes as saruman is very important we do need him in another set, but they didn't have to make this set in the same year. We get a £12 mini verson of this set and I don't remember Lego every doing that with another set of this size. Luckly the build is so good that I can live with not getting great minifigs

tbroyd thanks for the info, does that mean you need to take a kid alone to be part of the build event and get the 10% off. Any know if this is on at any of the other UK Lego stores as I am working all 3 days so can only go to my local MK store.

I live near a logo store but don't think we ever get offers like that here. I was just wondering if there was a voucher because although I have asked fir a catalog I never get one.

Great work, have to say wow. I didn't think you would add all that to the inside it really works well. But I was starting to like the open one and now I have seen this I want it closed again.

Tower of Orthanc because the more they sell the more likely it is we might get another big LOTR set, but really it does look great

You make a good point about the number of £20 sets there could be Treebeard, Balrog and even Mount Doom. It does make you wonder why we didn't get one in this wave, it would have made the wave a bit bigger and given us another set we needed and being a small it would have sold really well and it looks like lego have already designed some of those sets so what are they waiting for. I agree but looks like too many sets for one wave and with the big Minas Tirith set we would also need some smaller ones like a mumakil set and a witch king v Eowyn

Dr.Cogg: I was never really bothered about Lothlorien but I like that simple set in the game. All the set in that picture look preliminary to me helms deep, orthanc and is that bag end all look different from the real sets. Treebeard, Balrog, Lothlorien all do seem very likely could it be another small wave before a big 4th Minas Tirith wave. I really want a big big Minas Tirith .

Is it sad that I plan to go to the Lego shop on the 17th just to look at the box and know one day it will be mine. I mean I might just head down to the shops and if I have time I might have a little look in the Lego shop and see if they have anything new.

In the dungeon the middle part should be deeper than the rest. Is there anything behind the sticker of the wargs, could there be something hidden or is it just empty.

^ agree with most of this but I do think orthanc does have some key sceens that make a great set, remember saruman is killed and falls off the top of this thing. And it is nice to have a great building as this is what Lego is for but yes am the one that wanted more minifigs
