I have a feeling they're going to change the names of the new games here in the States... I've been a pokefan since the days of Gold/Silver as well (a bit of a late bloomer I guess). I watched the show and collected the cards when I was younger, but nowadays I just stick to the games. Currently playing through SoulSilver (have 12 badges!); if anyone wants to trade or battle I'm down, though I have to warn you I'm not very good.

Bought the Ostrich Race set from the Prince of Persia line; the ostriches are mainly what I wanted, but the other pieces were a bonus I guess.

It's probably just me, but I think the Lion's torso would have been better suited with white arms (small gripe I know). Other than that they look to blend right in with the Crownies as another faction, can't wait for the line to come out!

For anyone who has seen both versions, is it anything like the old movie? I remember watching parts of it way back when in my Latin class and thinking it couldn't have been anymore cheesier. Granted the trailer for the new one looked pretty epic, I'm just not sure how much of a "remake" it really is.

I've never heard about these grab bags before; are they advertised in the store somewhere, or do you have to ask (i.e. locked away somewhere in the back storage room)? I'll have to check out my local store this weekend since I need to pick up something for my niece for Easter anyways.

Don't get too excited; I went to my local TRU on Sunday and there wasn't any. I'm hoping when I swing by there again on Saturday they'll have put some on the shelf (crossing my fingers).

I'll add to the "that episode was awesome" camp. Loved the back story of Richard (err Ricardo ), but the whole who is good versus evil thing is getting in my head now. That last line that Richard's wife said seemed important...maybe the people who thought they were all in purgatory was right?

Billionaire - Travie McCoy ft. Bruno Mars Apparently he's going by Travie instead of Travis now, but it's the lead singer from Gym Class Heroes if anyone knows that band. I like the song, has a nice summer/carefree vibe to it.

Yeah I was thinking that might be the opposite after I typed it. Having said that, I did check their website and it seems the better mpg is with the 2.0 turbo. I dunno, in the end they're probably the same cost wise (even with the extra 2 grand or so it costs for the V6).

Well umm, I was kind of thinking getting the turbo charged 2.0 one. My thinking was in the long run I would save a bunch of money on gas (higher mpg and V6 requires premium gas no?). I could go V6, but that also increases the upfront cost.

You know actually thought about this one and the Lancer Evo, but for some reason they're not catching my eye; I'm not much of a hatchback guy either.

For this go around I want to keep it under $30k, preferably in the $24k - $27k range. I'll pass on the Camaro. For some reason American muscle cars don't interest me at all; feel free to call me a not-real American. Well the plan was to keep it for the full life of the warranty; I realize the resell values for Hyundai's are horrible, which is one the reasons I want to keep it as long as possible to get my money's worth. I was thinking of keeping it as a second car down the line and making some mods myself on it. And I was joking about the chicks, if they are that superficial about choosing a man based on his car then we've got problems.

Alright guys I need your opinion; I'm in the market for my next car, and I've been looking around recently. I had originally decided on a Nissan 370Z, but have since revised my choice given the limited budget I have (sub $30k USD). I was perhaps thinking about a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. However, my friend is trying to talk me out of it, saying in the long run the maintenance and reliability are going to suck (he also mentioned something about not being able to pick up chicks either with a Hyundai ); he suggested buying a used BMW, but I'm firmly against purchasing any used car. I know Hyundai used to be pretty bad when it came to quality, but haven't they greatly improved over the last few years? Also, with a 10 year/100k mile warranty, I feel the whole maintenance issue is kind of moot since I'll have most things covered for the entire time I keep the car (hopefully after 10 years I'll be rich ). What do you guys think? Good choice for something under $30k (and no I am not getting a Mustang ).

I was wondering when someone nerdy enough would post something about today. Can't wait for March 14, 2015 when it will be like a super-pi day! As long as we're talking about pies though, I personally like pecan pies the best.

Watched 2012 for the first time yesterday. Decent film, but some parts were hard to take seriously. Nice visual effects, but probably not worth the gazillion dollars they spent making the film. I'd say 6.5/10 or 7/10.

That's a good one by him, FilmGirl, but I really like some of his others on that album more. I'm really into by him right now, and Call Your Name is another good one.
