Don't get me wrong, I'd love a return of the Forestmen more than anyone but I just don't see that happening anytime soon. What color would the faction be? Dark green is already taken, and green would be too similar in my opinion. I'm sure TLG thinks kids need to have defined factions with separate colors, so unless they make them dark tan or sand blue or something I can't see that particular faction being released.

The Lighthouse episode was the best so far this season in my opinion. It's really starting to pick up, can't wait for the next one! Did anyone catch the name of number 108 (the number Jacob told Hurley to turn the wheel to)? I found a recap show the other day; although the host is kind of annoying, I did find it useful just to hear some different interpretations of things: Recap Show

Definitely picking one up (mainly for the forestwoman ). I don't care about the quality, at least I'll be able to get some of the rarer minifig females without the giant premium.

I got her the pony; it was toss up between the sheep and pony (I personally liked the sheep ), but she likes ponies a lot so I went with that one. And I agree with computerbug, TLG can cheap out all they want on the packaging as long as the contents remain top notch.

I can also confirm these sets are at the Birmingham, AL Target store (not exactly Bay Area is it ): Got the Duplo one for my niece, and I'll probably end up saving the two Star Wars ones to sell later.

Haha, nice. I did the same with my niece (didn't start quite as early however), and now at 5 and a half I have successfully got her hooked on LEGO. At first she had trouble pressing the pieces together firmly to make them lock and following some of the more complicated directions, but she's gotten a lot better. Best of luck with yours!

Man those South Koreans are too darned good at short track. At least Apolo got the Bronze, which is probably better than he would have gotten if all three Koreans qualified for the final. Big showdown between Canada and US in ice hockey tomorrow, should be fun to watch for those who are fans.

Well hopefully he won't get killed, just banned from any other opening ceremony. Is the flame inside going to stay up throughout the games? I would have thought that they would take it down so they could hold events inside BC Place. If it is going ot stay up then I could see them raising the last pillar in the middle of the night when no one is watching.

I searched around but didn't see a thread about the Winter Olympics. The opening ceremony was yesterday, did anyone have a chance to catch it? I thought it was well done (as long as you didn't compare it to the Chinese opening ceremony which cost a gazillion dollars ), even if there was a slight malfunction at the end with the Olympic flame. I'll admit the winter version of the Olympics doesn't intrigue me as much as its summer counterpart, though I still find myself watching it no matter the sport (heck I even got into curling back in '06 ). Barcode would be the same for all of them, but the item number might change. I guess the only way to know for sure would be to ask the guy taking the pictures to take a picture of both the zombie and diver bag item number.

I for one hope they are indeed cheap plastic, since that way the price of them will plummet and I can get all the ones I want on the cheap.

Well it's nice to see you care for the line then! Never really got into this theme for some reason; I guess I prefer the themes with bigger structures in them such as large buildings or castles. I can see how people could be sad about it going away, though I'm sure LEGO will replace it with another action theme soon (Power Flyers? )

I know this sounds lame, but I'm in the camp that likes a little gamble. I always loved buying Pokemon booster packs when I was a kid and opening them to see what I got; sometimes I was disappointed, while others times I got exactly what I was looking for. Either way I enjoyed the little rush I got from opening the unknown so to speak. Now that I'm older it's kind of the same thing, except in this case I can resell the figs I don't want to continue the vicious cycle.

Maybe they're just saying that to make all us AFOLs buy them in bulk and boost profits, and then release the molds into other lines after everyone has forgotten about the series. Both series look great; I'm only interested in a few from each line though so I may end up doing the same as other people (buy a box, resell the ones I don't want). So a box contains 60 figs with a price of $2.99US correct? As long as I break even I'll be happy.
