  1. OOC: Since I'm mounted, shouldn't I be at the West Wall already? (edited: thanks for the clarification) Xander arrives at the South West Tower, ready to engage Elven Archer A with an attack from the front row.
  2. Over the nervous chatter of the fellow heroes and soldiers, Xander hears the annoying voice ( ) distinct voice of Althior call his name; he turns quickly to see him motioning towards the west wall. Xander knew that part of the fort would succumb quickly to the attacking elves without the help of a hero, urging his horse into a brisk gallop towards the direction of the elven archers.
  3. OOC: Had to dog-sit my sister's dogs in the boonies of some small town in Tennessee. Unfortunately there was no internet so I couldn't get on Eurobricks; looks like I didn't miss too much besides another crazy invention. Xander helps with the move of the Slice-n-Dice to the Southern Wall, lending a much needed hand to the weak struggling mages. "It seems like the brunt of the elven attack will come from the South, so setting up our primary defenses on the Southern Wall seems like a logical choice."
  4. OOC: Well golly K-nut, why don't you just control me. "Alex, I trust you can finish off the elven scout; I will head to the East Wall and help the heroes battle the oncoming elves there!"
  5. Doesn't matter to me, whatever Our Dear Leader decides. Is there a way to get to the east wall without going through the fort (i.e. going around it), and if so how long would it take?
  6. OOC: I hate to bite the hand that feeds me, but how exactly do you get a horse up a rope to scale the wall? And I guess my action is fine, though I would have liked to taken care of the scout before I left the west wall. Wouldn't it be faster to use my horse to go around the fort instead of scaling the wall?
  7. OOC: Could William and I theoretically use the grappling hook rope to get on top of the wall? And how long would it take for me to get to the base of the east wall (2 turns or 1 and 1/2 turns )? Xander remains determined, this time aiming his attack towards Elven Scout A from the front row.
  8. "Alright, William, we can handle these elves! Let's focus on the archers first to keep the grappling hooks to a minimum. I'll attack Elven Archer A from the front row, aim your attack towards the other one."
  9. OOC: Can I attack using my club on horseback, or do I have to use the spear? "The proposed positions sound reasonable, Althior; William and I will do our best to protect the west wall."
  10. Xander begins to place several stakes into the ground near the East Wall, taking extra precaution to avoid the fresh holes in the ground where some dummy Alex had placed the bombs. OOC:
  11. Xander continues his sprint towards the action.
  12. Please do not revive that meme.
  13. Xander moves closer to the other group of elves.
  14. OOC: Finally back, thanks for taking over Xander K-nut. "Spag, I will focus on Mounted Scout A since I have the power to hopefully take him out in one fell swoop; you should target another enemy to minimize the free hits!" Xander aims an attack on Mounted Scout A from the front row.
  15. Xander positions himself on the South-East Wall, readying his weapon and tightening the bands around his wrists. OOC: Sorry guys, been super busy this last week. Had a phone interview with a company out in California, and now I'll be flying out on the 30th for an on-site interview. I can use all the well wishes that I can get, I really need this job. Because of this I won't be that active till early February, so K-nut can take over my action if I haven't logged in for a day or so.
  16. "Perhaps if we spot with the telescope a siege weapon approaching we could send out a team to intercept it?"
  17. Xander moves closer to the North Wall.
  18. Xander clenches his club, satisfied with the previous round. Noticing the Mounted Brobric Elven Scout in the near distance, he focuses an attack on it from the front row.
  19. "We should not waste the opportunity to attack the foe while we can; Arasmyth, I would suggest you target an elf. And do you think one of Alex or the catapult should target someone other than Scout B to hit more enemies?"
  20. Will burning the rope require a turn? If it does, then I'll go ahead and still target the archer unless someone is direly against it.
  21. Is getting rid of the grappling hook merely someone cutting it/burning it/etc. or does the archer need to die? If someone can just burn it then I'll change my target to the scout.
  22. Xander notices from the corner of his eye that Alex has his aim towards the elven archer. "Alex, I will take care of the archer and his grappling hook; you should take aim at one of the other targets so they will not have a free hit on me," Xander exclaims from the ground. He then readies an attack on the Brobric Elven Archer from the front row.
  23. Xander moves closer to the scaled wall.
  24. Xander continues to the Southwest wall.
  25. Did the Doc mention that the elves were coming from the forest? If so I feel dumb for not chiming up about it (I blame me doing everything through my phone).
