Nice little creation. :-) I like how you used an arrangement of factions as the corpses.

Good use of your Stonehenge. *y* While the battle is cool on its own, the lighting really makes this creation for me. It makes the skeletons feel even more menacing, and I like how you can't really see them or tell how many there are. ... those poor vikings. *sad* This picture is now my desktop background.

Great vignette. :-P You've done a great job getting the point across without making it overcomplicated. I like the way the knight is trying to shake the little soldiers off.

Heh heh. Great! X-D The monster is well built and menacing looking, and I love how the soldiers are just looking at the catapult. I like your approach to the base, but feel you could have done more with it. I think you should at least made the muck moving around where the monster emerged.

A neat looking battle, with lots of cool details. I especially like the patch of dirt, and the fence. The axle roof is pretty cool too... how is the snow attached? I think using Vikings may have been more fitting, but I kind of like seeing a different side to the Crown soldiers.

I wish you both a great birthday! :-)

I suggest buying the Viking Fortress Against the Fafnir Dragon: It's a cool set, and has lots of reddish brown pieces. It wasn't released that long ago, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding a copy for relatively cheap.

... I just thought I'd use this opportunity to point out that it's spelled 'grammar'. -
Hey Khorne, nice to see some posts from you again. :-) Great entry, too!

This isn't the first time I've gotten a small catalog like this... I remember getting a similar one when the Viking sets first came out.

I suggest making a new thread for westerns, or at least making this thread more general... I've actually watched a couple of good westerns recently that have really inspired me to build some cowboy Lego. *pirate*

Why did you choose 4?

Well, if you don't feel up to it, I'm sure us on the imaginary list could play an imaginary game. :-P

Hello Al Freddo, this is a very nice creation. You've done well with the landscaping, and the tower really looks built into the rock. The structure itself looks good and sturdy. I like your use of slopes and arches to add some visual interest to the front. The little roof on top is a nice touch, but I don't like the asymmetricalness of it compared to the rest of the tower. Perhaps just taking off the top three slopes would make it look better. I like the brown pieces sticking out of the sides of the tower that represent the crossbeams, but it looks odd having them only at the bottom. I suggest putting them wherever there would be a new floor. The premolded door frame looks good in this creation, but I think you should put something in the clips, like torches, or maybe some type of weapons. Those are pretty much just nitpicks though. Keep up the good work. :-)

Great review guys! I enjoyed reading more about TheBrickster. Brickster, some great, well thought-out answers. *y* ... and please include me in the imaginary jungle adventure list. ;-)

Welcome to Eurobricks, Kenneth! What is your favourite Castle sub theme? Enjoy your time here. :-)

I don't think this is quite as good as your castle works, but it's still very neat. I really like your style of landscaping, and the way all the brown slopes contrasts with the tan looks great. The mixture of plates and slopes gives the sand a neat looking texture, and broken off road is especially cool. I also like the use of dark blue for the water, giving it a more murky feel. The various wedge pieces in the road are neat, but on the whole the road still looks too clean to me. I would suggest mottling it some, to give it a more weathered feel. Mixing in some old dark grey might look pretty good... As usual for your creations, the action in the scene is nice. You've done a great job suspending the motorcycle in mid-air, and all the tentacles coming out of the ground are cool. Are the tentacles supposed to be multiple monsters, or all part of one large one? (I can't really tell from the picture, and the gallery isn't public yet.) Since they're so close to the edge of the sand, it might also look good to have a few tentacles sticking out of the brown area. What is the purpose of that little black mechanical thing in the bottom left corner?

Hello. This issue was kind of discussed in [this topic] In that thread, Hobbes wrote:

Except then everyone will just think you are talking about American football. :-/ The video is hilarious, though I can't help feel a little bad for the Madrid team. I guess they had to learn the lesson the hard way. X-D

Brickminer is a very talented builder. His new stuff is really cool, I especially like the bridge.
