RAMM 7th Rebellische Beseitigung Trennung
Sir Dillon replied to Chuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ah, that's a good point. Is that also why his arm colours are the opposite of everyone else's? -
This month was a lot of fun, thanks to all who made it possible!

RAMM 7th Rebellische Beseitigung Trennung
Sir Dillon replied to Chuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Very cool looking figures indeed. That one of the soldiers isn't wearing a mask amuses me... any particular reason he isn't wearing one? -
The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #6
Sir Dillon replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
This was one of my favourites so far... the plot didn't seem any more random to me than previous episodes. I really enjoy your dialogue, and all the clever comments between the characters. I was laughing at many of the scenes. Like others mentioned, the creations were really top-notch in this episode. Great job with that. Thanks for including me in the background. Isn't tiber a river or something? -
Stauder, I don't think he's referring to the swearword, but that he feels the comment was in poor taste. ~ Happy Birthday, Yoda.

I just made my first Brickarms purchase. I'm greatly anticipating their arrival.

Woah... You're much older than I would've guessed. Have a happy birthday.

Captain Green Hair and Mr. Tiber's Steampunk Pirate Ship
Sir Dillon replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Wow, this is really something! It made me smile. You've done a very nice job with the overall shape of the ship. I like how you've taken advantage of the fact it wouldn't be water bound by adding various windows and designs on the lower hull. The use of a wagon wheel as a window looks very nice. All the steampunk details are neat. I especially like the front mast thing (the bow, I believe?) and the area behind the steering platform (heh heh, perhaps a pirate could help me out with the terms? ) The only thing I don't like is the TIE Fighter windscreen... I think the idea of a big window there is good, but this one just looks out of place to me. I don't know what this ship is going to be used for, but wouldn't it be wise to have some sort of weaponry on board? I see what looks like a cannon port [here], but I don't think it'd be much use, because it'd just shoot the engine. I believe a large steam cannon on the deck could look pretty cool. Overall this is a very cool creation. I look forward to the comic! -
Try as they might, no one could ever catch the infamous invisible bicycle rider.

Nice interview guys! I think the sets are especially nice this time, and really add to the interview. I agree, dragons are just misunderstood. Just because they kill us, burn down our towns and hoard our treasure doesn't mean we shouldn't be friends.

I wish you both a very happy birthday!

Yeah, brown probably would've have been a little better, but I don't have enough brown capes. Black looks good to me anyway, though, so I don't think it's much of a loss. When building the church, I wanted to make it look simple, like a church of that time might have, but looking back on it, I agree with you. Some sort of architectural design on the front would've helped, I think. It's just two brown rods tied together with a rubber band. Thanks for the comments, everyone. *sweet*

How to make a Roman helmet: tutorial
Sir Dillon replied to Tanotrooper's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I have to agree with Tedbeard on this... It's a creative build, and I think it does resemble a Roman helmet, but this just doesn't look good to me. Sorry I can't give you any suggestions to improve it. -
"I know it doesn't look like real Lego, but that's only because the catapult fell off."

The pair of highwaymen happily examine their new items, unaware that they had just killed the world's first time traveler.

Just out of curiosity, why doesn't that count as four pieces?

Hooray for Castle! *knight*

Thanks! Thank you. I hope it will do well in the contest, but would be surprised if it won anything... there's some crazy good entries year! X-O Thanks, I'm glad you like it. :-) Thank you! And, yes bring out those Vikings. :-P Thank you! I'm sure most of the details you'll steal aren't originally mine. ;-) Thanks again for all the comments everyone. *sweet*

Like others have mentioned, the foliage in this is great. All the various types of plants and colours really give it a nice look. I can appreciate the work you put into the gore, but I don't like it. While overboard gore can be fun in creations, I feel this is just a bit too extreme... that his upper body is so high up, yet hasn't turned at all is also a bit odd for me. That being said, I really like the use of the rubber bands on the sword, that's a sweet detail!

Castle MOC - Two Towers! - okay Duplo MOC
Sir Dillon replied to Tohst's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Heh heh. A very nice creation! Do you find it easier or more difficult to build with Duplo? Like Asuka mentioned, your photography is very nice, though I wonder why most of the pictures are black and white? -
Hello! This is my entry for the Classic-Castle battles contest: a viking raid on a village. [Gallery] when public. The skateboard ramp houses are not my own idea. They are based off creations by Lord of the Lego. Comments and criticism is appreciated, please let me know what you think! :-)

No, many of us have known for a while now... it's just we know how sensitive you are about these things, and thought it would be better to play along.

Heh heh, brilliant! X-D

Hey Mr. Lego Builder, I haven't seen your posts in a while. It's nice to see you're still around. :-) Happy Birthday!
