Owning Lego is nothing to be ashamed of *sad* ... besides, we all know that those are really for you. :-P

I'm kind of running out of things to say about these, but another nice review. I enjoyed reading it.

Heh heh. Very nice. I laughed reading your descriptions of some people. :-D The only one I couldn't figure out is "You suffer from religious tourettes which often times gets in the way of building huge Crusader displays"... is that Christian, maybe?

BrickFair is coming to Washington DC, August 2008!
Sir Dillon replied to ToddWebb's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hello Todd. Thank you for bringing a Lego fest back to the DC area. It was disappointing when BrickfestDC was canceled, and I'm excited to hear about Brickfair. :-) I don't think I'll be able to make it for the whole weekend this year, but I'll hopefully be able to come for one of the public days. Thanks again! -
Wow, that's gorgeous! *wub* When you are ready to take it apart, do you think you could take a picture of the tree without all the leaf pieces on it?

Heh heh. Happy Birthday "Aprophis"! :-P

I agree that the jokes at the end were a bit lamer than normal, but it was still a good review. *y*

There's only two; Hinckley and myself. (unless I added someone and don't know about it) Thanks. :-)

Yeah, he uses clone brands in some of his constructions, and customizes some pieces too. It can be annoying, but I still like his creations.

Nnenn is definitely one of my favorite space builders. His creations are all very elegant and original looking, and this one is no exception. Thanks for sharing.

Due to popular demand: :-P Thanks for the comments everyone. *sweet*

I've always liked the little planes from the Adventurers line, and this one is no exception. It's great for the price, and comes with some nice pieces and a good figure. I don't like this one quite as much as some of the other biplanes though, so it only gets a four from me.

Happy Birthday Aredhel! I hope you enjoy your day. :-)

Going purely by which creation I like more, I voted for MicVash. While PSPguy's creation is an okay idea, getting whacked with popcorn seems more irritating than painful, whereas I don't think PSPguy will be recovering from that shark beating anytime soon. *y*

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #5
Sir Dillon replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Normally, but I had to take a break for the holidays because I wasn't getting anything else done. :-/ Sweet! 8- -
The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #5
Sir Dillon replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Wow, I almost missed this, because it's in the town section now... Brilliant comic Hinckley! All the weird sequences were a riot, and there was more than a few times when I burst out laughing. Great job, certainly one of your best. *wub* -
I was originally going to put in various member's sig figs, but I didn't have the time or pieces to really make it work, plus only a few of them would have fit in well. I'm in there because it's my creation... why shouldn't I be in there? ;-) And yes, that's supposed to be Hinckley in the balcony, I don't have the correct face, though. Qui Gon is there because he was already built at the time, and I didn't feel like changing him around. Who is Jedi Jimmy? Because I had no reason or desire to include you... plus Indy would have looked very out of place, and I don't have an Indy. (yet) Haha! :-D Well, he does have a nice view this way. Thanks. I would have preferred the gallows in brown, actually, but don't have the pieces to make it so. I'm glad you like it in black. Thanks for the comments everyone!

Haha. I liked how you talked back and forth to yourself, which to me made it more interesting than just a string of questions and answers... although I suppose the main reason that was doable is because it was all you. :-D Great job, and happy New Year.

Hello! This is my latest creation, depicting a criminal being carted down the city streets to his impending doom at the gallows. The tudor houses on each side were inspired by Lomero and MrTS. The cart was based off someone else's design, but I can't find his gallery anymore... :-/ [The Gallery] Comments and criticism are appreciated, please let me know what you think. :-)

Very nice creation, Rupi. I really like the texture of everything, especially the cobbled pathway. The king's pavilion is nicely done, and I really like how you've shown the inner workings of the building. The only suggestion I have is to make the floor of the 'basement' a different color than green. Grey or brown, perhaps. So, great work. *y* Do you think you will be making more castle creations in the future? There already is one in the gallery: [Link]

Urm... did you read Hinckley's reply? 8-|

Ooh, very neat! I generally enjoy Burton's movies, and am looking forward to this one. (it's on some sort of delayed release in my area, so I can't see it until mid January... :-/ ) First off, it's nice to see you have a new camera. It's impressive how much of a good difference it makes. For this creation, I wonder how it would look photographed on a grey or black piece of paper... it might make it seem more moody, like the movie. The 'artistic' approach you've used on this is interesting, and I think it works well for this particular creation. I haven't seen the film yet, but I think you've done a pretty accurate job on the chair and trap door, and the brick wall is cool. You've done a good job on meat grinder, but the way all the flesh is just set on top of it looks odd. I think you should try to create thin wall around it, and even though that may give it a bit of a boxy look, I think it the flesh would look more like it was actually getting ground up. The transfer of the meat from the grinder to the barrel is a little weak... I'm sure you can use plums or something to make look like it's actually pouring into the bucket. I don't know how long those bodies have been laying there, but I'd suggest making at least one of them flesh-toned, to make it appear 'more dead'. ;-) Perhaps you could even make Sweeney flesh-toned, because he's so pale in the film? Anyway, I like this creation a lot, and look to more Sweeney Todd creations from you. :-)
