  1. Aliencat brings us this fantastic diorama entitled Escape From Planet Monday: Go to the discussion topic to see more.
  2. I would like to play please!
  3. Thanks for the review Mikey! As others have said, the main reason to get this set is the figures. The siege engine has a few nice pieces, but is big, ugly, and not very appealing to me personally. I do wish this had come with regular sized shields instead of the large tan type, but overall I think this is a good set for the money.
  4. I think it is too early to say the Fantasy theme is over. It's possible, but we haven't heard anything official besides that Elves won't be available next year. As nice as a "Classic Castle Style" theme sounds, I don't think it's likely, and am not sure how appealing it would be to today's consumers. I imagine many kids would find it boring. For a possible new castle theme, I would like to see something a little more historically accurate, perhaps along the lines of a struggle between the authorities and a band of criminals. It would still be focused on conflict, but different than the open warfare type of themes we've gotten previously.
  5. I don't care for the tudor placement, but I realise that's how the original design is too. Some crossbeams on the tudor sections might be good, as well as some rubble around the statue the sculptor is working on, but otherwise it's nice little building and a good representation of the Playmobil model.
  6. Nice updates! The height change is subtle but makes a nice difference, and the variation to the walls looks good. The addition of a tree and base completes the model well.
  7. I'm glad you want to bring us LEGO news TheLegoBoss, but please try to search around on the site to see what has already been posted before starting new topics. Dino 2010 is the European version of Dino Attack, not an upcoming theme. There is some discussion about the regional differences here: [link] As this is old news, I'll lock this topic.
  8. A minifigure scale tower would be gigantic, even as a LEGOLAND Park model. If there were to be a set of the tower, my guess is it would be downsized version of the eye and the black gate. TLG is making a Rock Band game, and as of now there are sets to go with it. There are also a lot of unavailable minifigures in the LEGO Battles game. I would be very surprised if we saw either a game or line of sets based the Hobbit/LotR, but I don't think you can count out a videogame only on the basis that there are no supporting sets. Or perhaps a set with a structure similar to the Temple Escape, with the West gate at the front, Balin's Tomb in the middle, and the bridge of Khazad-Dûm at the end.
  9. YG-49, if you have something to add to the conversation, say it. These types of image-comments are not appreciated.
  10. I've been restructuring a few things in the index and as a result have fallen behind on the actual indexing, but your creation will definitely added eventually.
  11. Absolutely fantastic! A whimsical idea for a castle, and executed exceptionally well. There is a lot to love about this creation. I must say your photography is also great. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Member and LEGO Ambassador Matija Grguric brings us his latest creation: Castle New Rock. Go to the the discussion topic to see more.
  13. It was not metagaming for all of us at least. I had gotten results saying he was guilty, and therefore went after him. It also made sense with what the king said about magic. Shadow's defense seemed poorer than usual too, which was probably because he was telling the truth. I can't blame you, I played pretty terribly. I voted for Stash2Sixx on a day other than his conviction, and voted for Ricecracker, but up until then I was basically useless. I was also actively defending Quarryman... I was surprised that he was the one to kill me.
  14. I'm beginning to think that Dragonator has a problem with anyone winning but himself. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to Dragonator for a great game. The scenery looked great and the photography was excellent, both of which really added to the game experience. So now I see why I got backwards results on Vipont, but what about Griffin? I guess I was a normal investigator after all, but getting two backwards results in a row was enough to make me useless. Good job to the Dragons for that.
  15. It's good to see another creation of yours Mautara, thanks for posting. The miracle is well set with those great looking buildings. I particularly like the tan outcropping on the white building, and the use of sand green is nice. I'm not entirely sure what that wooden instrument is supposed to be (some kind of press?), but it looks good, especially the use of those door pieces.
  16. I have two, both in dark grey. One is enough for most cases, but I seem to be constantly losing one or both, so it's nice to have two around.
  17. Nice build Legostein! The octagonal pieces for the towers was a good choice, and the window frame as a gate is quite clever. While it is hard to tell with only one angle, it looks to me like the castle is too small compared to the towers. You can see in this image of the official set (from dj2005) that the bottom of the roof is about level with the top of the towers. In comparison your model seems out of proportion. Castle Fan, if you don't have anything to say, don't post.
  18. The Community Castle Build is moving towards the end, but it can't get there without your help. Check out the list of remaining modules to see how you can contribute.
  19. Welcome to the site Caramon352! Your knight looks good. With such colourful armour, he looks to me more fit for ceremonial work than actual fighting though. All custom figures actually belong in the Minifigure Customisation Workshop, regardless of theme. I'll move it there for you.
  20. Well now you've gone and hurt my feelings.
  21. That shield choice is also good. Some of the coats of arms from the KKII theme were very nice looking. I'm curious as to why you feel that way about the theme? The sets weren't fantastic and were generally overpriced, but the lion soldiers in particular were quite good looking, and I like the tan highlights used on the buildings. Some better designed sets from the theme could be very cool. True, but the Dark Forest was basically a retooling of the Forestmen theme, so I think that a another range of sets from either line today would look basically the same. It therefore made sense to me to group the two together in this poll.
  22. Your right that there doesn't seem to be a pattern to your investigations, but that you searched Peter's room twice and found different results could mean something. We don't have much to go on here, and your arguments haven't been very convincing, at least for me. Vote: Richard the Guard/Ricecracker That sounds a little like a confession...
  23. Richard, who have you investigated over the last few nights? After revealing your supposed ability, you haven't given us much information.
  24. It could be because Black Falcons and the Black Knights are relatively similar to the current Crown Knights, and therefore a new line of sets from those themes might be close to what we already have with a different colour scheme. Forestmen, on the other hand, would bring a completely different setting and feel.
  25. Well, this is disappointing. Two loyals dead, and my investigation is proven to be unreliable. I still feel that Peter the servant is a Dragon, but can't go only on my investigative results. Last night I investigated to Ambassador Simnel again to see if I was just getting a pattern regardless of loyalties, and got the same results as before, thus breaking the pattern. Yesterday the general consensus was that we should vote off Richard the Guard after Geoffrey. Is that still what everyone wants to do? If not, I would ask you all to consider Peter.
