  1. The tracker who contacted me knew I targeted Scott, so they have that ability. They were also told I was unsuccessful, giving them the confidence to confide in me, and I them. So far, they appear townie to me, and there is zero doubt they are a tracker.
  2. Now, I've never played mafia in Bizarro World where you apparently learned, but I want to tell you something about the SK. The Serial Killer is likely to do a few things. 1) kill other players and 2) work hard to appear like they didn't, and that they are town. Maybe the SK's you're accustomed to do differently. Why do people know I'm a third party? Because I said so. Why do people know I targeted Scott? Because I said so. Why did I say so? Because I have a harmless third party role that will only be supported by any watcher/tracker/blocker/whatever the town hits me with. But, feel free to throw a lynch at me anytime. I won't win, but I will be free of repeating the details of my bizarre role. Now, as to Pierre, I agree with Stacy's reasoning. Unvote: Mary (BoyWonder) Vote: Pierre (CallMePie) Dianne, you think Pierre's story is plausible? Plus you tried to fish me for info on the tracker I've talked to today (which I didn't give)? Sorry, but if Pierre comes up scum, you are 95% likely to be scum. If I die, who knows. But likely, if the scum kill me, they'd get the diamond back. It is a role 100% made up by the host, so you're better off asking him yourself.
  3. Babs has a job. Job > mafia. Mafia doesn't pay the bills. Back to work (pretty suspicious, going quiet like that )
  4. The scum win condition clearly does not, according to the rules: If they have special win conditions on top of that, well, that might be a broken game for scum, and town would have a massive advantage. Simply by juggling the diamond around (however it is done), town could prevent scum from winning. Hopefully that isn't the case, for the sake of complainers after the game. As for the usefulness of my role, I clearly told the person who blabbed to Jonathan and the tracker I talked to that my usefulness was limited. On early nights, I could sort of clear town, but the chance of my accuracy would go down every day, as the chance of another thief having succeeded would increase. Which is another reason why I want other thieves to contact me. None have, so there might not even be any. I was told there may be others. Well, I admitted to targeting Scott to the person I was talking to the moment I got my night results. And had insinuated he might be the day before. That seems to be an incredibly foolish move if I were actually a killer of any kind, don't you think? And my tracker is likely Town, since I think they would simply have killed me tonight, rather than wanting to work with me if they knew I had a night action and wasn't on their team. For Pierre, I don't know. It's plausible he cracked and made something up, but he could just as well be investigated tonight. I think we're best to keep it up with Mary. Since the day won't end early if I vote, here I go: Vote: Mary (BoyWonder)
  5. You are willfully ignoring so many details, it's really :wall: If there were a scum tracker and a town tracker (though that's unlikely), scum would not have put their tracker on the person they kill. They would want to collect useful information. That makes sense, right? So, if your tracker is actually a tracker, than the one I talked to, who is most definitely a tracker since they knew who I targeted, is scum. But you aren't sure about yours. Got it? And my role is incredibly clear, though you still can't get it. I have to get the diamond. Other third parties have to too. The scum have it. So if I target scum first, I will get it. If someone else does, I will have to steal it from them instead. Crystal clear. ALL NON-SCUM, NON-TOWN PLAYERS ARE "THIRD PARTIES," EVEN IF THERE ARE FIFTY OF THEM. If we work together, we can just let each other know who has it once we got it, and we all fulfil the win condition, which is simply to have had possession of the thing at some point in the game. THAT HAS BEEN MY CONSISTENT STORY THAT YOUR NOGGIN CAN'T PROCESS. Good night!
  6. Other obnoxious crap that I had to deal with came up. I don't think you are clear in any way, until you start lynching scum. For now, Mary is the vote leader, and her continued absence makes her a better candidate.
  7. Please stop voting for Mary, or this day will end before the discussion is hammered out.
  8. I was upfront about myself to the person who shared my story with you. I honestly think most savvy players would keep it in private. That person I told wasn't compelled to write a play about me for all to see. Bad play, all around. Nope. But they might not even be playing, since all they need to do is send in a night action. The votes mean nothing to them, other than not appearing scum. I don't know if there's even more than one. I was simply told there might When you tried to drum up a lynch for me/make a case about me/put me in your dumb play without having any contact with me, you forced me to out myself. You might not think so, but that's you incapable of admitting things. I could let you control literally everything, or take control myself by making a defense. I wasn't about to out myself until you did what you did. But you won't accept that you had any involvement megabluck this shit.
  9. I will vote for Mary, but I'm going to hold off for now so that the discussion can continue... And maybe Mary will actually show up. But I get the feeling she's been so quiet, hoping that other heated debates will eclipse whatever suspicions are left on her. You don't need to get into fights (and preferably, you don't), but when people are pointing fingers at you, you need to at least deal with people and give them a reason to think you're willing to step up. If you can't participate when your head's on the block, what chance are you going to participate at other times? For that matter, the number of people who are purely checking in is a concern as well. As of this moment, this is all the posts some people have managed to squeeze in in near 48 hours (one of which being a Sunday, when almost everybody has a day off): Ferrik 2 TinyPiesRUs 2 TheBoyWonder 2 Rumble Strike 2 Palathadric 2 Piratedave84 2 Dannylonglegs 1 It's likely there are at least two scummies in that list.
  10. If I target scum first, I fulfill my win condition. In that case, I likely have caught a scum. If someone else gets it first, then I have to take from them, I'm guessing. In terms of my 'personal shit', I'm talking my game stuff. I don't need you outing my role. It's a dick thing to do. And then sending me PMs to explain after... Jesus, ask first, then, if you're sure I'm lying, reveal. No need to megabluck up my game if you don't know what's up. Bull in a Cina shop.
  11. They can steal it off me after I get it, or I off of them, and it's win-win. As for the bullying part, you put info about my role up, in an inaccurate way ("he probably kills to get the diamond"), and try to dominate the way things are discussed. The only way to clear things up was to inform people myself. Thanks for revealing my personal shit in thread like that. Bully. It's pretty damn annoying.
  12. You know what? If you to know stuff about me, ask. Rather, you want to lord every tidbit of info over people with your annoying plays, and I'm not about to put up with that. Instead, I took my fate into my own hands, and lo and behold, no votes for me. No, I won't let you be framing the narrative in your bullying way. As for a tracker who gets results? You're the one who thought the host was lying about the set numbers having no correlation. Is it even a little bit implausible? I really think not. Bill, it's not correct for the tracker to get results like that, so we can take it up after the game. The person has to be a tracker since they knew I'd targeted Scott.
  13. The tracker I talked to targeted me, found out that I targeted Scott, and was told I was unsuccessful. This is why they contacted me, they were confident I wasn't the killer. Also, any other third party jewel thieves should contact me, so we can pool info and increase the chances of us winning, independent from the town and scum, of course. After all, Jonathan took it upon himself to spill my stuff publically, before sending me PMs to clarify, so we may as well make lemonade from these lemons.
  14. I targeted Murdock. I thought he was waffling in thread, in a Zepher/JimB scummy way, but didn't say so in thread, since I didn't want scum attention if I were right. As for the tracker, I may be wrong, but they targeted me, not Murdock, and claimed to get a read of 'unsuccessful'. That would be bad hosting, but I'm sure the host didn't want his special thief role getting lynched as killer on day two, so I can fully believe he said that.
  15. Of course.
  16. I'm a neutral jewel thief! I win if I get the diamond just once, even if lynched day two (though I don't have the diamond, so I would lose). The role is such that I would have zero incentive to play if I succeed in my goal. I was planning to announce this after I got the diamond, so other thieves (who I was notified exist) could get it off me and win. My winning has zero connection to the winning of either town or scum. Jonathan thinks the host is capable of lying about the distribution of the set numbers, but this is particularly unlikely.... Um, okay. Vote me out if you want to test this theory. It will save me the trouble of being told I'm a dick for the next two weeks.
  17. If you act like a dick, I'll treat you like one Personally, and in all honesty, I find it really, really frustrating that someone comes in with the idea that I have to be smug and condescending. If you make an issue of calling me that on a repeated basis, I will become so, for two reasons: 1) you will come across like an idiot to me and of course I will look down on you and 2) the game starts to lose any pleasure, so I'll become more irritable. Say what you like about me, I certainly wasn't the one who starting in with the personal insults (and I consider smug and condescending insulting terms). You're working those angles, it seems. Maybe it's time for def to take another break, since my reputation is hampering my ability to have fun. In fact, having fun and getting along is now something to be suspicious of! I didn't think people's accusations of Jordan held much weight, but thought it better to get a lynch. I didn't see the whole of town switching to a new third person in the 5-6 hours before the day ended, and nobody had changed their vote by the time I went to bed. Maybe that's suspicious...
  18. No, you say I had suspicion of her, that I had a focus on her, and that you weren't saying I had a focus on her. It's pretty repetitive to me. Especially since it was a casual day one vote. Seriously, get over it. Be suspicious of me if you like. I'm not speaking for the town. I'm speaking of myself. The only thing I made note of is that you had zero suspicions of me until I pointed a finger at you. Not that I am obviously an innocent, or that you're foolish for making claims at me. Call that a "shit don't stink" attitude, but it's you being an patronising megablocks. Seriously, find a single example of me having a "shit don't stink" attitude on here. It's pretty boring to get the same bitching from you yet again, and hardly called for.
  19. He repeatedly went on about Mary, no? The only thing I said wrong about Jonathan is that he was pushing for Jordan, which was a mistake from not remembering the events of yesterday correctly, which I apologised for. That seems like a mature thing to do. Did I say anything else that wasn't true? He was awfully aggressive after I pointed a finger at him, and he did keep up with the numbers theory, when experienced people know not to look at that. That's about it. As for "what makes you holier than thou?", what the hell are you talking about? I'm doing this thing, it's called participating. Some people will post more than twice a day. For you, it may be distracting, but for others, it's half the point of playing. I'm not claiming to have perfect scumdar or that I am better than you all. Maybe one or two people You should try participating. It's one way to get better at solving things. But really, what the hell are you talking about? I answered all the people who interact with me in as clear and polite manner as possible. Not you, right now, since your comments here are inane
  20. If I was the host, something I would do is give hints to the variety of players. For example, giving out puzzle pieces to players, I would give out the number of pieces of townies, but distribute them randomly, so there is a meaning, but no clue to people's identities. It will be interesting to see in the end whether the host was telling the truth, and it will probably be kind of bad if he wasn't. Hopefully that's not the case.
  21. No, I thought Jonathan was being a little scummy, so he decided he thought I was being scummy for thinking so, and wanting to know why I wasn't going after Mary today. I was never strongly accusing Mary in the first place on day one, so I didn't get why he kept bringing it up I'm not sure what to think about him at all. He was way over-defensive and aggressive at my FOS, and he kept going on about the set numbers meanings even though it was not going to be a way to solve this. It's not a good sign.
  22. What you should take from it is that I thought he was suspicious, at which point he needed to know why my focus had gone off of Mary, and I was all of a sudden suspicious. A lot of distraction, a lot of misdirection. But the key point is that he had never brought me up once until after I brought him up. No, he didn't like that one bit, did he... I never saw a nun do what you were doing last night. You looked like you were full of the father, son, and the holy ghost No ma'am, that was pretty loose.
  23. Mary has always been a little loose with her womanhood.
  24. Mary is on the table.
  25. Not really. I'm not an investigator, and I'm having a lot of trouble remembering who said what, a problem of every one of us having the exact same face. But there is a very small chance that the lynch on Jordan was to save Mary... Maybe. Mary really did drop out when the lynch came on her, which is something she did before as scum, and didn't do as town...
