  1. Call me what you want. It seems pretty obvious to have different expectations of the mayor than of a street bum. Act appropriately. Without any explanation of why. I was also a strong critic of his actions from the first day, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did it as a joke on me. I was on him everyday to fill us in on the what, when, why and how. With you, he basically said he thought you were the leader of the Noodles mafia. Why would he think that? If you think his word is to be trusted, can you explain why he thought you ran the Noodles mafia and prove your innocence? You sling shit at me and blame me for not knowing you made a mistake (makes the jack off gesture with his hand) Really? You led that? Or Sandy and Stash led that? And the governor is a member of this town? Or are you meta-gaming, by bringing in irrelevant facts? As I wrote before, either you are mafia scum, or dumb. Time will tell which prediction was correct, because I'm confident one is.
  2. Actually, I messed up one of my counts, so color me red-faced It would be nice if games here kept a running total to save the hassle of counting through. It's really easy to miss a name.
  3. Have a nice one, Z
  4. Thanks for the support Mrs. Boy, a rational voice is appreciated. So, the only thing I've said is name-calling? Sorry, but you need to focus on the content of what I'm saying, not the dressing and seasoning of it. Maybe a rough and tumble biker like me rubs you the wrong way, a high class hobo like like yourself, but I've said plenty to explain myself. You just want to focus on the namby-pamby stuff. Again, we aren't in a hurry here, and let's see if we get any hard investigation results before we start cutting each other up. You know, I've had a hard life. My dad was never around, and I never got through high school. But I got street smarts, and they've taken me a long way in life. I think I have a perfect voting record here. I voted for all the scum and neutrals, and I realized that stuttering Erik King was innocent, while the rest of you guys crucified him. How many of you have a perfect record here? How many of you wear Erik King's blood on your hands?
  5. Who will count the votes now
  6. This type of talk is entirely unbecoming for a mayor, don't you think? Sean's a bum, so I have much lower expectations of him. One time, I saw him get drunk on a bottle of Listerine. My apologies, Mayor nitwit. It's a tactic of the innocent too. The only reason I'm having a finger pointed at me is a list by a neutral that points at you and the mayor. Are you saying that an innocent wouldn't point that out? Considering two of my accusers are on the same list, it's all pretty shifty, if you ask me. And again, to clear the record. I have never said I hate you all. The mayor makes things up about me yet again As for dumb. Yes, some of you would be classified as dumb. In your case, Mayor Nitwit, either you're a misleading mafioso purposely telling slanderous lies about me, or you're dumb. Take your pick.
  7. Let's review that list again. The list that is the only so-called "evidence" against me: Good they feel that Stash's list is so reliable. They must be as guilty as me.
  8. Suspicion, yes. Evidence, zero. Nada. Nothing. That's a fair point, she could have sneaked it out of him. It didn't seem so. Namby-pamby I gave quite reasonable and true responses. You and professor nitwit are trotting out nothing in particular and calling it evidence. Seriously, neither of you have said much of anything. Sorry, but pointing out how dumb the stuff going on here is not immature. At a certain point, a man can't be bothered to molly-coddle you kids. Whatever, the vote hasn't started yet. We'll see how it goes. Before the lynch mob gets in full swing, go through what I've written, and show me any example of scummy, misleading stuff I've written. Not a single scummy word is there, so you won't find anything.
  9. Do any of you folks listen to what's being said I was perfectly fine voting out Dows, but, given that Stash had given vests to known scum, I wanted him out. It's as simple as that. Try not to shoot your mouth off if you don't know what you're talking about. He pushed my buttons by making stuff up about me. How about I make some false accusations about you, and see if you like it What about it? I didn't call him scum, I called him reckless. Is there a problem with that? And me doing Alice doesn't make us cohorts. It makes us intimate friends. But I guess you haven't reached that stage of life yet. Yeah, he was working with scum. He gave Sandy a vest. Why did he out her? No clue, but he did work with her. Good for you Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
  10. Moron.
  11. Normally, in such games of life, Day 8 would be a do or die situation, but I'm pretty confident, with 2 godfathers taken out, town can take a few hits. Still, I'd rather people went with something founded, rather than Stash's totally unfounded claim.
  12. Really? I know you're no brain-box, but I said more than once that I believed Dows was neutral. I just felt him better to deal with after Stash was dealt with. Don't misrepresent me, numbskull. For the record, you've been damn near useless this whole game, so nice of you to start pointing fingers all of a sudden. Particularly with no substantiation. You're damn near worth a vote for making crap up about me. It's not helpful to anyone. Jealous wuss. Vote with your head, not your broken heart. Glad you're willing to sacrifice me to test a theory Pretty damn reckless for a cop. Not for a drunk one I guess. I realize that you folks are relying on what Stash said, but he was all over the place. First of all, his motives are very very questionable. Why was he working with scum from the start? How did he gather all this information? Once the sheep herd lynch mob gets going, there's little anyone can do to stop it, but keep in mind that I've worked for town every vote as best I can as a vanilla townie. I was the victim of an assassination attempt early on, and protected by Brickme. Yesterday, I did all I could to motivate town to start voting, whether for Stash or Dows. I clearly said that they were both bad news, which they were, and now we can get around to sussing the mafia. But it's stupid to take out one of the few townies who's been working to get things together. To sum up, Flitwick's useless, Peanut's jealous, and Draggy is being reckless. Let's use some solid investigating to make a decision. At worst, If I die, town will still greatly outnumber the mafia, so town should be in good shape. I'm willing to sacrifice myself to show the poor strategics of you folks. Unfortunately, I have few ideas, but hope Kovacs has turned up something in his investigations.
  13. You're going to be overloaded with applicants, but I'm interested. I've never done a mystery before, but I've done mafias here and elsewhere. As for the 1950's, I love Tricky Dick and the way his jowls shake when he speaks. I know there were communists under every unturned stone, and America put every penny into smoking them out, here and abroad. A crazy senator Joseph McCarthy helped destroy careers, and J. Edgar Hoover spied on people while secretly wearing women's clothing or something inappropriate for the era. The Reds were anti-God, anti-American, anti-us! There was nothing else we could do, we had to find them, whatever the cost. For the sake of freedom!
  14. Awesome work padewan A big thanks to Oki for this season. Season one was a bit of a chore in the later episodes, and I wasn't confident I could make it through two alone. I knew him as one of the bigger Star Wars and animation fans on the board, so I enlisted his help. I actually feel a lot more confident about attempting season three, though we'd start a pinch earlier, if he's willing. There's a bit more to update the thread with, so it won't go dormant just yet. About the season finale, I thought the second half of the hour long was quite strong, I'd give it a 7 or maybe an 8. I enjoyed Hondo a heck of a lot in both his appearances this season. I liked him in season one, but the episodes were poor. Here, he was a very developed character. I forget the line when he saw Babby, something like, he's not mine, is he? He is very true to his character, searching for the best angle on any situation. The Coruscant underworld scene was beautiful, with the only drawback the repetition of characters from earlier in the series. You can see a certain budget limitation here, no time to flesh out the background. As for Ahsoka messing up the Slave I, fine with me. It's a ship, it can be rebuilt. I only took issue with the lame meeting of Mace and Babby at the end. I can see how the writers felt that Babby in and of himself made this a season finale, but their writing of him as a sympathetic character fucks him up. He's the guy who sold Han Solo. Was that honorable? He even "learns a lesson" in the episode, like it was an after-school special. A poor choice. Maybe that's the limitations of a kids show. I'd rather Babby said all the things Aurra Sing said, rather than have her act as the devil on his shoulder. Make Babby the one being unnecessarily aggressive, the one without a moral or ethics compass, and I wouldn't call him Babby. But, that is most definitely a trade off of 30-something me watching a kids show. All in all, it is respectable for a kids program. It doesn't quite transcend the medium, as Pixar does, but then again, Lucas consciously decided not to become part of Pixar when he had the chance at the beginning, so I know where his head is at. Good, but not great. Respectable. LEGO on the other hand, is Pixar level, great. An interesting mix!
  15. Alice, time for night actions. I'll meet you at the usual place, usual time. I'll bring the hooch. You just bring yourself Peanuts, I can't believe you gave up such a slinky sultry minx as that. This town is too good for her. Night folks.
  16. Hasn't Dows admitted he's neutral already? I thought we knew they were both neutrals.
  17. I'm glad people are paying attention, but it's just a little knock at the Senator, who spelled it a couple of ways. Ronzaroni is my favorite, and it goes well with Noodles.
  18. Sure, which means we don't know. I know my record's clean though. Again, we don't know that that's the case. Everyone's making an assumption here. Again, we don't know what's up. To be fair, you're not really doing anything as chief of police. And again, I'm not accusing you of anything, simply saying that I don't have any special reason to put my faith in you. It really is on the fence, and I can see why. But, if Shaun is a manipulator, and we know it, and he has no powers, it's just as easy to ignore him on the sidelines till another day. What's the rush?
  19. No, I would lay low if I were scum. If I were Ronirani and the vests were passed along, I would want Stash alive. I don't like the fact that he gave vests to scum. In your case, how do we know you're not the Noodles boss? I'm not accusing you, but I'm not going to assume you are working for town and need extra protection. I want Stash out since he was giving protection to scum, and that makes him dangerous to keep around. Pretty clear and simple, no?
  20. Sorry, but requiring Internet research to make sense of a cartoon is a minus, not a plus. Feel free to have your own score.
  21. Who is everyone? Dows gave us one, he voted Stash. Kovacs gave us one, he hasn't voted. Stash gave us one, he voted himself. Two of the three want Stash out. As for me, I voted against mafia every time, was a victim of a scum assassination attempt (day 3 or 4; protected by Brickme), and I want Stash out. Frankly, Drake's insistence at keeping his protection is looking fishier and fishier all the time. He wants the guy protecting him to stick around. And he's fighting a heck of a lot to do it. At this point, I think they're both bad news, but Stash seems to be the one that spells more trouble for us all. At that, I guess our opinions will have to respectfully diverge.
  22. Fair enough, but I don't see what the pressing problem Dows is. He doesn't seem to have killing abilities, and handed us a Ronzani member. On the other hand, Stash gave protection to scum. Dows seems to be the one that can wait till tomorrow. Of course, all 13 members voting for Dows aren't scum. But they are the ones who aren't being logical, as I see it.
  23. Stash: 10 Votes (Stash, Ivan, Shaun, Def, Bendy, JohnPaul, Alice, Millacol88, Captain Genaro, Minxter) Shaun: 13 Votes (Draggy, Quarry, ADHO15, Flint, Peanuts, Craig, Legonator, Bob, Fugazi, Sok, Arjay, Crazy One, iamded) So, just 5 people in this town not showing their face. Mr. Alex Burr (Lawyer) (Burman) Susan Keen (Student) (Surius Black) Harold Hiker (Biker)(HouseofH) Red (Biker) (General Redwater) Walter Kovacs (Student of Kung Pho) (Walter Kovacs) Personally, I'm going to keep a record of those that voted to keep a protected vest on scum. An interesting choice
  24. Thanks Gen, I'm glad to see you aren't one of those overly sensitive types. I trust you aren't a coward. As I said, I just want to see people check in and take part.
  25. Some nice details here. The vending machine in particular is nice, as well as the gacha-gacha machine, and the laundry hanging up. And I love the retro-fireman garb hanging there.
