I love 2006. It's full of old school OT sets, done with modern techniques and parts. I just wish I could afford Jabba's Sail Barge now. I started heavily collecting in 2008, and a good pile of my cash went into the 2006 sets, not so much 2005 or 2007.

Keep in mind that, since PotC is out next year, Pirates are coming back in vogue

I agree, the town hall is a good place to start. The military guns could be a sign that the commies are undercover as military.

I don't see how a comment on a completed vote that makes no reference to any living player makes any difference, but I'll respect your wishes all the same. No more comments on players choices until after the game

The targeting of Sok was another example of the irrationality on display by players of this game. Whoever the remaining mafia is, they must be laughing hard.

I had a similar thread here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=38700

The credits, the budget, IMDB...

You can touch it, just as long as you get permission

I just did a Google search for that item, (レゴブロック ANAバーション) and actually, it's the same one linked to in the thread I started last summer (making this a duplicate thread) http://www.astyle.jp/category/anaoriginal/goods/Q00147060.html&previousViewId=goodsList Anyway, the contents are as such: -airplane -cargo truck -three minifigs -plane stand -sticker sheet, including lots of minifig stickers

It's real. Lego does a few Japan exclusives. There was a plane only set last summer, but it was terribly overpriced http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=43946&st=0&p=771522entry771522

Let me tell you, I'm in Hell now, and there is loads of bread. More than you could ever eat. And your wife too!

It's not like the studio system ever aimed to make good movies. The people paying, the studio bosses, have never wanted them. They just wanted to fill seats. Great movies were made in spite of the system, not because of it. I'd give examples, but this is a bad movie topic. (I can't resist. Here's one example, Rescue Dawn. A remarkable product of the Hollywood system, starring Batman himself.) I'm with you on Avatar, it's a piece of crap, that's only gotten crapper the more accolades that were heaped on it. Same with Oliver Stone though. His movies are so obvious that they may have been written by a high schooler. I turned Platoon off half way in, it was so transparent in its stereotypes and direction. At best, a few of his films were watchable. The Doors is watchable but trashy, JFK a comedy, and W a two hour SNL sketch. I don't think he's considered a respected filmmaker anymore though, his reputation petered out over the 90's. Only a minority of films are worth repeat watching, but it seems that way all over the world, since the start of film's history. I've sat through some contemporary Japanese films, and most of them were mediocre at best.

Well, I wonder if the radio was some kind of transceiver for sending secrets. I'd like to pick up the radio and look at the wiring.
-
Obviously, I want to search the cabinets, but also, I want to check the reading list on the bookshelf, and the station the radio is tuned to.

Well, I'll go upstairs while you investigate the dog.

I think you did an excellent job. It's still quite easy to tell the players from the floaters.

Zephyr, I'm learning loads watching day 10 go by.

I'm satisfied here. Can we know what the neighboring buildings are?

I couldn't disagree more. The bounty hunter gunship and T-6 shuttle look fine, and I haven't held the LEGO counter-parts in my hand to hold anything against them. I'm cutting back on LEGO and specifically SW LEGO, but I'd like to get them both. The main thing I hold against CW ship design is that they are new. All the OT ships came out before I was eight years old, so they will always be iconic. But CW ships were all designed after I was 20, so they'll never have the weight the original ships do. But, I think the designers are doing a good job. The remakes are occurring faster. I'm really surprised that the Sith Infiltrator is being remade in 2011, and I'm glad, because I was tempted to buy the 2007 version. But, like the Slave I redo this year which I'd thought would happen in 2016, it is a matter of business. If the set is a fan favorite, like the Falcon and the X-Wing, it should always have a version on the market. (the Sith Infiltrator is a debatable fan favorite; more like Darth Maul is) - Kim T has stated that he buys every SW LEGO set as a matter of habit, but I was quite liberated by not buying everything. I think I got every 2008 set but Count Dooku's over-priced space egg knocked that habit out of me. This year, I got the battle packs, the Freeco, and the pirate tank (2009?)... I don't remember, but I pick and choose, and it keeps the series a bit more exciting. This year, the only frustration is the Turbo Tank. I'd like to get the Turbo Tank, but the price is too much for the sparse set, and Aayla Secura is already more than $20 as a minifig. I'm going to hold out for a magnet set, or a cheaper set next year. The only way to get sick of Star Wars is to be too obsessed with it in the first place

Ah, you sure know talk nice I'm sure I can arrange a hot piece for you All the same, I'd still like to check what you have in the items you have behind the register.

I'm not sure if this place's food is equal to my home cooking. I'd like to check out the items behind the cash register.

Strange, I thought those were the reasonable ones. The third one, plus the Wolverine movie were borderline unwatchable.

Congratulations! I think you have some wonderful times ahead

This is pornographic. My collection feels piddly now.

Personally, I just need a month of no cartoons. But, I'll start on Season 3 before it ends, I don't want it to lag sooo much the next round.
