News LEGO Boardgames 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Good Cragger Fan replied to Wout's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The Legends of Chima board game is for sale on www.shop.lego.com, at least for Germany. (I dddn't bother to change the country settings to the United States or Canada, as I assumed that it would not be available on those two country settings of the website, since the Constraction figures were also not available there and would probably be released at the same time as the board game, just like on the Germany country setting of the website.) It is interesting to see Laval, Eris (who are good characters) and Cragger (who is the (current) bad character) microfigures but no Gorzan, Worriz or Razar microfigures, so why is it like that? (It doesn't make any sense to have only one bad tribe that is represented there and two good tribes that are represented there, as it would be imbalanced there to have this -- unless could it be that Cragger will become a hero too (my hope and wish) later on in the theme and thus stop being a villain, as this is what it seems to be foreshadowing there? -
Collectable Minifigs Suggestions
Good Cragger Fan replied to Eggyslav's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I like the Pirate Crewman (for me to use as one of the pirate crew of the Minifigures Series 8 Pirate Captain), Dark Elf, the Hunckback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo) (for me to use as an additional Forestman in the Castle and/or Kingdoms themes), Medieval Monk (though I highly doubt that this will ever be made by LEGO, it being due to the religious nature of it ), Kung-Fu Master, and Wizard. -

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
Good Cragger Fan replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Where is the biography for Cragger? It isn't up on www.shop.lego.com in any country yet! Also, it appears on Laval's biography that LEGO is insulting the entire Crocodile tribe once again! -
I have read that article about 9 months ago; however, I thank you for pointing it out! It only tells us on where specific locations are going to have a Target store, but none of them say on when they are going to open up to the general public. Therefore, I need much more recent information on opening dates and/or months, as this information is old news, thus more-or-less useless to me. (I already know the locations that will be opening up sometime in the future, but when will they open up to the general public?)
-
Does anyone know when any of the Target stores in British Columbia will open up to the general public? I thank you in advance! Here is an edit: For the Target stores that have already opened up in Canada, did any of them have the same (or very similar) polybag sets in which the Target stores in the USA have in thier stores?

Questions and Concerns for TLG
Good Cragger Fan replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If that is the case, who does the story and character development of LEGO themes such as Legends of Chima, as I would like to hear a response from them (via the ambassodors here, of course!)? I looked on the internet recently about different cultures' protrayal of crocodiles (both present and past), and in the case of the ancient Egyptian culture, Sobek -- the half-human, half-crocodile diety -- was a god, not a demon in some parts of ancient Egypt where he was worshiped (and was given offerings) way back then, to keep the real world crocodiles from attacking humans in, near and along the Nile River. (I think that there may still be some shines in which some modern-day Egyptians worship Sobek in a few places in Egypt that are along the Nile River.) Also, in parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, there is (or was) a crocodile spirit in which many people in that part of Africa believed in and worshipped there. Here is an edit: Another example of a good half-human, half-crocodile is the video game character that is known as K. Lumsey in Donkey Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64 video game console. [He was imprisoned in a cage by King K. Rool (the final boss in that game, who happens to be an evil half-human, half-crocodile) because he refused to harm monkeys and apes, especially Donkey Kong and his friends -- because he is a gentle, benevolent crocodile and doesn't believe in harming monkeys and apes (among other animals) -- and helps Donkey Kong each time in which Donkey Kong unlocks one of the locks on his cage (via the video game player, when he or she beats so many levels and/or worlds).] -
Legends of Chima-Overall Thoughts
Good Cragger Fan replied to LegoBenzine's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The so-called "basic" things such as affiliation and personality in the toy theme's story (i.e., the sets, speedorz, books and other mechandise) also do not match up very well there, at times, with the TV show's story, of the Legends of Chima theme. For example, Crominus is not neccessary a villain [i don't think (and hope not) that he is (or will be) a villain] in the TV show, yet he is protrayed as a villain in the LEGO Legends of Chima toys and other merchandise, and don't you get me stated on Cragger's protrayal in the show versus the toys and other merchandise! Also, I know that we all here know that Crooler is the main bad character, not Cragger, but it appears that the LEGO company does not acknowledge the fact that Crooler is the main bad character, not Cragger, as it mentions nowhere, other than in the TV show, that she hipnotised him to be her slave, even though he is the (current) King of the Crocodile tribe, so why is it like this??? For me to be clear here, I like the story IN THE TV SHOW a lot more than the story IN THE PRODUCT LINE. I do not like the story very much IN THE PRODUCT LINE -- since, as of right now, there is only a one-dimentional character protrayal of Crominus and Cragger IN THE PRODUCT LINE, whereas, IN THE TV SHOW, there is a lot more depth to the characters of Crominus and, especially, Cragger. (I'm really sorry for the excessive use of bolding, italicising, underlining and the use of all captial letters (in a few phrases) here, but I just had to bring my point across loud and clear here.) -
Are the chrome castle foot soldier helmets official LEGO pieces, or are they custom ones? If they are official LEGO pieces, I want to get a few as well (them being along with bronze and gold ones ), otherwise I will pass on these as they are too expensive in cost to be fake LEGO elements (yes, I consider custom parts from venders such as BrickForge and BrickArms as fake LEGO pieces). Here is an edit: If these parts are official LEGO parts that are coloured that way by the LEGO company, itself -- do you think that they will ever show in future LEGO products, and when do you suppose that they will show up in future LEGO products, if they will show up in future LEGO products at all there?

There should be absolutely no flesh in colour in being printed on the torsos -- if the minifigures that are in question are supposed to be wearing clothes and/or armour and thus are not even partially naked there -- for me to use them in a non-lisenced theme context. However, some of the torsos in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit themes do not have any flesh that is printed on them, so I will use some of them in my medieval Western European Castle minifigures (when I am able to afford the sets that they come in, there).

It looks like Kmart is being decieving us with their false advetising of their products, which is highly illegal in the US (as well as Canada), so I say shame on them!!- 7,499 replies

Legends of Chima-Overall Thoughts
Good Cragger Fan replied to LegoBenzine's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think the toy theme's story should be much closer to the TV show's story of the same name than it is now, as I much prefer the TV show's story over the toy theme's story. This is because, at least in the TV show there is at least some hope of Cragger in turning good in character and personality -- since Crooler and her orchid are the reasons why Cragger is doing evil things (he is hipnotised by Crooler's orchid, thus is her slave, even though he is (currently) the King of the Crocodile tribe), and he can't stay hipnotised by Crooler's orchid forever, as someone else is bound to find out about this, eventually (probably Plomar, the little bird, who cleans Cragger's teeth from time to time, which is my prediction, but it could be anyone else who is on the good side of the war) -- whereas, in the toy theme's story, there is no mention whatsoever of Cragger in being hipnotised by Crooler's orchid to do evil things and that, in fact, it is Crooler, not Cragger, who is the real threat to the good tribes (and thus peace) in the land of Chima. -
Legends of Chima 2013
Good Cragger Fan replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That would be the case, except for the fact that the expressions on the minifigure heads of Crominus and Cragger, in particular, are too evil looking on both sides for them to not only act the good character part but also look the good character part, and there is no suitable subsitute minifigure Crocodile head, not even from BrickArms or BrickForge! [Don't you get me started on the head mask, torso and leg prints (they look too rogue-ish and evil-looking there to look the good character part)!] -
I think that the box art from the Fantasy-Era Castle theme (from 2007 to 2009) and the Kingdoms theme are one of the best box art that I have ever seen in my life!

I cannot wait for Target stores to finally open up here in British Columbia!

This is why I have lost almost all respect for Disney (it being aside from their amusement parks -- I still enjoy them!) -- what with all their stupid reality TV shows and situation comdies (I really can't (figuratively) stand them! ) in hoarding most of the time slots on TV channels that are owned by Disney, which are supposed to air mostly animation, and now they are laying off and/or firing many, many people from their jobs, so it is really figuratively disgusting of them to do this!! Don't you even get me started on Warner Bros. and even Nickolodeon !
-
"List price" means the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (or MSRP), not there own regular selling price which could be higher or lower there (in this case higher there), which means that it is a scam!
-
That may be true there, but I still would think that Crominus and Crunket will still show at least some gratitude towards Laval for him throwing Chi down there, even if it meant to stop Crooler and hipnotised Cragger from using Chi for their (mainly Crooler's) evil purposes, if and when they do escape the Gorge of Eternal Depth. This is precisely why I really, really do not like in LEGO protraying Crominus as a villain on the box art of Boulder Bowling, Cragger's Command Ship and, with the new pictures of the Croc Lair Hideout set, the Croc Lair Hideout, as it goes completely against what already happened (and what will probably happen) in the TV show!

Legends of Chima 2013
Good Cragger Fan replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This is a warning that I am going into rant mode here: I say nooooooooooo!!!!!!!! King Crominus is once again shown with a red background that is behind the minifigure of him on the box art, and he is holding a weapon with a transparent red LEGO piece on it -- which means that he is being protrayed as a VILLIAN again!!! (Furthermore, there is no Crunket (she is as important of a character as Crominus, as she is (or was) the Queen of the Crocodile tribe) or even Cranvil in this set, and there is not quite enough minifigures (where is Laval and/or Longtooth or even LaGravis, in addition to a couple of addtional Crocodile tribe members?)!! ) I guess that I will consider the entire Crocodile tribe a complete WRITE-OFF (unless Crunket and/or Cranvil show up in a future, unknow LEGO set with a blue background that is behind the minifigures of them, thus implying that they are good characters and not bad characters), so I demand that LEGO make a brand new REPTILE tribe that is on the good side of the war in the land of Chima!!! I am going out of rant mode here: Regardless of what I said above here, I must get this set, as I can never have too many reptilian minifigures, even if they are bad characters, in this case Crocodiles. Therefore, I will get this set and the Cragger's Command ship set, which would mean the only Crocodile minifigure that I would be missing in my collection in terms of existing Crocodile minifigures from the Legends of Chima theme is Crawley, so I really hope that I can get him in a polybag set, right here in Canada at a brick-and-motar store (there is a polybag with Crawley as the minifigure in it, but am I right about this? ). Here is an edit: What store is this set an exclusive to, here in Canada and the US? (I sure hope it is Toys'R'Us or Walmart but not Target, as there is no Target stores that are open up now or will be open up soon in my area.) -
Laval explicitly said to Eris that he his going to throw the Crocodiles' Chi down the Gorge of Eternal Depth -- when she asked him what is he going to do with it, as he can't just put it back in the Chi pool in the Lion Temple nor have any of the other Lions find out about it (especially his father). (I just rewatched episode 3 on dubbedscene.com.) If Crominus and Crunket knew all of the facts, them including the fact that Crooler hipnotised Cragger into doing evil things -- such as him stealing Chi from the Chi Pool in the Lion Temple (as well as the Lions', Goriilas' and Eagles' Chi) and him attacking the Lions and their allies -- while he is King of the Crocodile tribe in his parents' absence, his parents would put a stop to Crooler's evil plans (thus would make an alliance with the Lion tribe), as they care for Cragger and would not want to see him hipnotised by anyone, them never mind Cragger's sister. (Also, who knows what else in which Crooler's orchid will do to Cragger in addition to it hipnotising him -- could it be that the orchid is poisonous to Crocodlie tribe members, thus would make Cragger feel ill and maybe even die from it, or, for that matter, to everyone else in the land of Chima who smells the scent of the orchid? Only time (and us watching future episodes of the TV show) will tell us! ).

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
Good Cragger Fan replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is why I hate secrets that have absolutely nothing to do with birthday/wedding/aniversary/Chistmas gifts and/or suprises. Thus, I long for the return of the yearly product catalogue booklet in every LEGO set, like it was the case before 2004 (and no set was an "Exclusive" set back in the 1980's and 1990's, so every set was shown in the yearly catalogues that came in every set that was or will be available then in that particular market sometime during that particular year). Besides, why does LEGO make the video so far in advance of it being available on the internet to the general public?- 7,499 replies

I could not agree more with "dgherko", since you cannot customise named licensed minifiures that have flesh printed on their torsos, and most of the named licensed minifigures do not have the proper torso and/or leg prints for medieval knights and/or foot soldiers.

Legends of Chima 2013
Good Cragger Fan replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It appears to be an Aril Fool's joke after all! However, this will not stop LEGO in releasing a polybag set that has a Wolf tribe member as the minifigure (nor will it mean that LEGO will not release one)! (This is what I meant in my last post here.) "CM4S", I wish that LEGO came out with their own booster packs, instead of other companies in making fake ones, for the Legends of Chima theme, as I would love to get an official LEGO Crominus or a Cragger booster pack! -
I feel the exact same way, but in my case, it is for Cragger when he is not hipnotised by Crooler's orchid, and thus not doing evil things (i.e., mainly in episode 1 and the first couple of mintues of episode 2).
