Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Good Cragger Fan replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Oh, I see what you mean there. That is very disapointing to me as well as other people to find out that LEGO has no official English language version of any episode of either the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series nor the Legends of Chima TV series that has been uploaded to their YouTube channel! I guess that it could be because Cartoon Network and/or Time Warner is being a bully in the sense that they refuse to allow LEGO to upload the English language version of either TV series, for perhaps copyright or some other reason, even though LEGO would love to upload the English language version of either (or both) TV series onto their YouTube channel if they could legally do so, but am I right about this theory?- 4,591 replies

I thank you for the good news, "Meiko"!

I was on a work experience at a Toys'R'Us once, about a year and a half ago through college, and I sometimes worked in the LEGO section. (It was a lot of fun!)

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Good Cragger Fan replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
What do you mean by this? I asking this because I've personally watched three uploads of the English version of the first episode on YouTube (the episode was uploaded in three parts, although the fourth part was missing there), and I've noticed that there are several different uploads of the English version of both episodes on YouTube. As for any version in it being released officially by LEGO on YouTube, I pretty sure that none of the versions, no matter what language of the dialogue of the characters that is used is in there, were officially released by LEGO. Also at least a few people have uploaded the English version of every episode of the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series that has already been aired on Cartoon Network in the US, as I've personally watched many of them on YouTube (unless they have been taken down after I've seen them, but I'm not sure about that ). Also, the Danish language version of the Legends of Chima TV series ( or any CGI cartoon for that matter) is not the best comparison for whether they have lip synced of the mouth movements to the Danish language voice actors or not done so there, since the Danish language is too similar to the English language (as is German, Dutch, Swedish, Icelandic, Norweigen, French, Spanish, Italian, Portaguese, Spanish (in no particular order), and even maybe the Slavic langauges like Polish, Ukranian and Russian) to notice a big discrepency in the mouth movements versus the dialogue in the local language that is in question there, so a much better comparison would for you to watch the TV series in the Chinese language, for example, to see how close in which the lips syc up with the Chinese language dialogue.- 4,591 replies

I thank you for this information, "Garmadon", but now I have to edit a few of my posts that mention the name of the voice actor of Crominus and LaGravis. "Penkid11", what do you mean by, "Crooler would then abandon her brother for the 'good tribes' and later take the Crocs under her wing..er paw.. whatever."? Are you saying that Crooler will become a "good" character and join the Lions, Eagles and Gorillas, or are you saying that Cragger will become a "good" character and join the Lions, Eagles and Gorillas (I'm confused here!)? (I strongly believe that the latter option will be much, much more likely to happen there (which is what I strongly prefer here anyway), rather than the former option!) However, I thank you for information in regarding the Russian concept video that showed up in the Action Themes forum for Legends of Chima on Eurobricks here, especially the fact that Crooler shows up there in a cape!

Then why does Japanese anime, when it is dubbed into English, have the characters' mouths not be in sync with the English voices?- 4,591 replies

REVIEW: GIANT Castle Chess Set (2008)
Good Cragger Fan replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm sorry for bumping this thread, but I only joined Eurobricks less than a month ago from now and had little time to post in here until now, and I really, really like this set (it is my absolute favourite Castle set of all time), so I felt compelled to reply to this thread, since I missed out on my favourite Castle set. I do plan on buying one copy of this set one day -- preferably in mint or near mint condition, as I must have the original box and instuctions -- probably on Bricklink (which is likely the only purchase that I plan to do on Bricklink), when I do get a job (jobs are very hard to come by for me here) and I can afford it. -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Do you have a source for this that you can link us to here -- as I'm very curious about this, as I am not being able to see the closing credits online anywhere and had missed the TV airing of the two pilot episodes? It is amasing that both studios are able to nearly perfectly lip sync the characters' voices to their English language voice actors' voices, them being animated in a country where English is not the main language that is spoken there. Therefore, I wonder why this is the case, so could it be that they chose English as the lip syncing language to use there, them seeing that at least 50% of the target audience uses English as there primary everyday language (the population of the US and Canada, alone, are more than the population of Europe (or at least Western Europe))?- 4,591 replies

I'm sorry for the double post, but do you have a source that you can link here that says that the voices of LaGravis and Crominus are, indeed, done by the same voice actor? I'm asking this because Crominus' voice sounds different towards the end of the first episode, which, in this case, is the only couple of times when his voice sounds a lot like LaGravis' voice.

About the first paragraph, I believe that the two pilot episodes of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu (which I considered them as "Season 0" of the TV series) were aired in mid-to-late May of 2011 on the US version of Cartoon Network, for the very first time (but someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this), and then the first two (or maybe three) episodes of the TV series proper (which are the first episodes of "Season 1" of the TV series) were aired in early December of 2011 on the US version of Cartoon Network, for the very first time, so it was only a little more than 6 months that is between the first airing of the pilot episodes of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and the first airing of the first two (or three) episodes of "Season 1" of the same TV series. In addition, a similar thing is likely to happen with the Legends of Chima TV series: with the first two pilot episodes that were aired in mid January of 2013 on the US version of Cartoon Network; the third (and probably the final) pilot episode (I think that it will be a pilot episode) of the TV series that will be aired in late March of 2013; and, finally, the TV series proper (which is the start of "Season 1") that will be aired in the summertime (this probably means that they will air in July, but I'm not too sure about this , so if anyone knows the answer, it would be greatly appreciated if they let us know here! ). Therefore, it is considered a separate set production (figurative) window, so I can very easliy see an entire new group of villains in being introduced to the Legends of Chima TV series, four episodes into the TV series, it starting in the first episode that will be airing in the summertime, as part of the TV series proper, in "Season 1". Besides, I really look forward to a new group of villains -- such as barbarian tribes that originally lured the Crocodiles, Ravens and Wolves to their side, but when the Crocodiles, Ravens and Wolves failed in the battle against the Lions, Eagles and Gorillas for the control of Chi, the barbarian tribes invade the land of Chima themselves and attack most if not all of the tribes of Chima, them including the Crocodiles and, perhaps, the Ravens and Wolves as well, and thus some of the current bad characters turn good in character and personality, especially Crominus, Crunket (once they escape the clasped cave) and Cragger! Also, here on Eurobricks, you mentioned in your last post in this very thread that you saw the TV commerical that advertised the new episode that will be aired on March 27 on the US version of Cartoon Network, and you said that there are a lot of calm scenes that feature both Laval and Cragger; thus I really, really hope that this is true there so that their friendship gets saved there, and thus, they stop being enemies. I'm saying this, because, you need to come on there, since how much longer in time can Cragger possibly stay under the evil influence of Crooler's orchid -- since it keeps wearing off constantly there; Cragger needs to be re-hipnotised by it, as a result; and sooner or later, Laval and/or any of his allies will find out somehow, eventually, and stop crooler from hipnotising Cragger with that orchid? Because of these things, I'm hopeful that LEGO will do the following things: First, they will treat Cragger as the "Lloyd Garmadon" of the Legends of Chima story in terms of most of, if not all of, the aspects of his personality and character (from him being a villain, to become, shortly afterwards, one of the main heros -- in particular); second, they will treat Crooler as the "Lord Garmadon" of the Legends of Chima story in most of, if not all of, his personality and character traits (from him being (appearantly) the main villain, to become, though at the very end of "Season 2", good again, once the true main villain is defeated there -- in particular), and finally, they will treat the barbarian tribes, or whoever becomes the new villain or villainess (or villains or villainesses), as the "Serpentine" and/or the "Overlord" and the "Stone (Samurai) Warriors" of the Legends of Chima story.

That's very odd, for a company who produced the 2012 to 2013(?) TMNT TV series, to not have it (which is an early episode, by the way) on their website! Therefore, I wonder why it is that, so can anybody answer this? As for the person who wants to be able to watch the 2012 to 2013(?) TMNT TV series in China, I guess all that you can hope for is if someone uploads the episodes to YouTube. (That is the case, unless YouTube is banned or restricted in China -- but I'm not sure about this, so can someone answer this?) -
That may be the case, but Crocodiles are a type of aquatic reptile, with scales all over their bodies, so they are not amphibians, even though they live in the water as well as on land. On the other figurative hand -- frogs are amphibians because they do not have scales on their bodies, and they live in the water as well as on land. Therefore, there is a very important difference that is between the two animals. As for you mentioning both crocodiles and frogs, in replying to one of my recent posts, I only mentioned crocodiles but not frogs in that particular post, but I did mention turtles and alligators as possible counterparts to the Crocodile tribe in the land of Chima. However, if you think that turtles and/or alligators are too similar to the Crocodile tribe in terms of attributes, me not counting their character and personality, to be one of the new additional tribes in the land of Chima, then what would be a suitable reptile and/or lizard animal that can be made into an additional tribe that is to be included by LEGO in the land of Chima (personally, I think that turtles and, especially, dragons and snakes are different enough from crocodlies that they can be included as one of the new addtional tribes in the land of Chima, without in them both being so similar to children that they can be confusing and/or boring to them!)?

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Good Cragger Fan replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Oh, I'm sorry, since it was my mistake; but I thought that Wil Films did both the LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series and the LEGO Legends of Chima TV series, but I guess that I was wrong here. However, I thank you for this information! -- but where in the world (in terms of country and/or city or town) is the headquarters for M2Film located in terms of place? This is very good news, as I look forward to the next season of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series! Therefore, in that case, the next season of the TV series might start airing in December of this year at the latest time!- 4,591 replies

I'm sorry for the double post. However, in the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu theme, there are no lowest tier Serpentine (i.e., nameless, mooks (or villainous grunts)) in the actual sets -- even though there are plenty of them in the TV series, not only in terms of numbers but also in the amount of screen time in which they get there. Also, this is why I strongly believe in the idea of LEGO in splitting into two companies: one for the children with Licensed and story-driven themes (i.e., Star Wars and Legends of Chima) with no or almost no unnamed characters in minifigure form; and one for the teenagers and, especially, adults who are fans of LEGO but are army-builders who want lots of nameless, grunts (both mooks (villains) and red shirts (heros)) of soldiers of all types in addtion to some named characters as the leaders and leader-assistants [i.e., Classic Castle (1978 to 1998 (or maybe 2000's Knights Kingdom and 2007 to 2009's Castle (the Fantasy Era) and 2010 to 2012's Kingdoms)), and Classic Pirates (1989 to 1997 (or maybe 2009 to 2010 Pirates))]. Finally, the 9492-1 and 8084-1 Star War sets do not have any nameless, grunt Imperial Troopers (Imperial Snow Toopers and Storm Troopers and Tie Pilots do not count here!).
-
If that it the case (but this never applied to me, even when I was a child, since I did do army-building of minifigures even way back then!), then the LEGO Group should have every single minifigure part, them including Licensed minifigures, or LEGO should stop making licensed sets if they cannot come to an agreement to sell the licensed minifigure parts individually with no unreasonable limits on how many in which one customer can buy on Pick-A-Brick on www.shop.LEGO.com (I'm especially looking at you, Hasbro and Disney!). Aternatvely, they should at least, at the bare minimum sell every single current non-licensed minifigure part individually on Pick-A-Brick on LEGO Shop-At-Home's website, at the bare minimum, if not at LEGO Brand Retail Stores in their Pick-A-Brick wall and/or Build-A-Minifigure bins, especially minifigures that are from the Castle and/or Kingdoms, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Legends of Chima, City and, maybe even the LEGO Minifigures line (though that may not be possible and/or neccessary there). In this way, it would make it way, way easier for anyone, it also including children, to army build minifigures without for them in having to pay for shipping and handing, play the figurative waiting game for the goods to arrive at their house and pay with a credit card, money order and/or chegue (as these methodes of payment cost extra money, in service fees and/or charges, especially the last two, though them paying by a cradit card can also cost extra money if they don't pay the balance in full when it is due by a certain date, and many people, including myself, cannot afford the extra services fees (LEGO is expensive enough already here in Canada!)).

Don't you forget that we already have two avian (bird-like) tribes (the Eagles and the Ravens) and two canine (dog-like) tribes (the Foxes and the Wolves), so it is certainly not "too overwhelming" to have two reptile tribes! Besides, on page two of the January 2013 (for the US) and the Issue 1 of 2013 (for Canada) LEGO Club Magazine, on the Mount Cavora image, there appears to be a different reptile image that is shaped into the moutainside of it, which is different from and does not look like the Crocodile image that is shaped into the mountainside of the Mount Cavora image on www.kingdomofchima.com, for your (and everybody else's information. (Could this animal shape that is shaped into the rocks of Mount Cavora in the LEGO Club Magazine be a Turtle, an alligator, or some other reptile? However I'm not sure what reptile it is suppossed to be there, but it definately is not a Crocodile!) Here is an edit: I corrected the website link from www.chima.com to www.kingdomofchima.com. I'm sorry for any inconvience that this may caused here!

REVIEW: GIANT Castle Chess Set (2008)
Good Cragger Fan replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is, by far, the best LEGO Castle set ever in the history of the LEGO Company (me never mind the best LEGO Chess Set ever in the history of the LEGO Company!)!!!!! This is because of the sheer amout of LEGO elements like extra weapons for Castle minifigures and the sheer number of minifgures that are in the set (a whopping total of 33!! ) -- so this set has the world record for the number of minifigures, more than even the UCS Death Star set of the Star Wars theme -- and even the 10193 Medieval Market Village, the 10223 Kingdoms Joust and quite possibly the UCS-style Orthanc set for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit themes do not figuratively hold a figurative candle to this one masterpiece of a Castle set!!! It's really, really too bad that I missed this one!! (even though I saw a display model of one at the Bellvue, Washington LEGO Brand Retail Store, and I asked if I could buy the display model of the Giant Castle Chess Set, but the employees there refused to sell it to me! (since they were completely sold out of them!!), as they said that it was for display purposes only, not for sale!)!!!!! Now, if I want to get this set, I'll have to spend at least $500.00 (US Dollars) at the absolute minimium on Bricklink or EBay!!! -
Review: 852751 Pirates Chess Set
Good Cragger Fan replied to einsteinonthebeach's topic in LEGO Pirates
I could not possibly agree with you more here! This is because I was unable to find the Giant Castle Chess Set, other than LEGO Shop-At-Home, even though I took a trip down to the US to the Bellvue LEGO Brand Retail Store with loads of American money and they were sold out of them!!!! (however, I got 20 Castle Battle Packs for the Crown and the Undead Skeleton factions for the Castle Fantasy-Era line (10 of each faction) ), and this is also because I could not find the Pirate Chess Set anywhere, not even on LEGO Shop-At-Home's website!!!!! -
I would do the eaxct same thing, though I would just merely be expanding on my current Castle displays. As for what I would do if I had a machine that make any LEGO element: I would make thousands upon thousands of the new Black Falcon shield that is found in the 10223 Kingdoms Joust set; an alternate Cragger and Cominus minifigure head, where the dual-expressions would be much more friendly and/or heroic-looking and much less angry and/or evil-looking there (and the same thing would apply to most of the other Crocodile minifigures' heads (except for Crooler and perhaps Crug and Crawley)); and an alternate Cragger and Crominus head mask -- where Cragger would have Crominus' Crocodlie Crown helmet in being printed on it (to signify that he is now the new Crocodile King), and Crominus would have no Crocodile Crown helmet that would be printed on it (to signify that he is no longer the Crocodile King) but his light grey goatee (or whatever it is called there) and eyebrows would be printed on the head mask, instead.

If you go to www.teletoon.com and look for the schedule link for the next three or four weeks (it is in .pdf format) and scroll down to the fourth week in the month of March of this year, it shows under the Friday column and the 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. rows, it says "LEGO Legends of Chima" in all of the three time slots. (Right before that, at the 6:00 p.m. row , it says "LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace", as the show that will be airing right before "LEGO Legends of Chima".) I'm sorry for the mixed tyogragphic emphaises in my last post, "Ricecracker", and I will try to use much less of it in the future.

Good Cragger Fan replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm sorry for the double post; however, I think you can watch at least some of the new TMNT cartoons on www.YTV.com, in Canada, but I'm not sure if you can view them in Hong Kong, China, so can anyone find out about this? -
If it is only one brand new episode that will be airing on Cartoon Network in the US (as well as on Teletoon, in Canada), then it better damn well have a proper ending to it, unlike the last episode -- with either Cragger turning good (via him being freed of Crooler's control from her orchid) and joining the Lions, Eagles and Gorillas to stop the Wolves, Ravens and the other Crocodlies (other than his parents Crominus and Crunket) in their evil plans, or Crominus (and/or Crunket) in helping the Lions, the Eagles and Gorillas in putting a stop to Worriz's, Rawzom's/Razar's, Crooler's (and Cragger's (while he is under his sister's control via her orchid)) evil plans to distroy the Lions and their allies (the Eagles and Gorillas) and steal their Chi orbs [once he and Crunket escape the clapsed cave in The Fangs region of the land of Chima]. (In this way, the first of the regular episodes of the Legends of Chima TV series can introduce a brand new villain, to replace (and/or accompany) the extisting villains, just like how Wil Films and LEGO did with the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series with the "Rise of the Snakes" story arc.) Alternatively, if neither one of these two things do happen in the new episode, then there better damn well be a brand new reptlian animal warrior tribe that will be introduced in that episode, that will be on the Lions', Eagles' and Gorillas' side of the war, or I will not be very happy at all here!!! Here's an edit: Can someone please upload the commericial (or commercials) that are advertising the brand new episode of the Legends of Chima TV series to YouTube or a similar website to it, or at least provide a link to them on here, if it is possible to do so? It would be greatly appreciated by me (and many other people on here)!

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Good Cragger Fan replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
You need to also keep in mind that Wil Films is working on the Legends of Chima TV series, so their spending most if not all their time on that TV series (which, by the way, will have at least 26 episodes that will be aring on TV later this year), for the next several months. Actually, I would be suprised if any brand new episodes of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu will be airing at any time during this year, so I doubt that we will see any brand new episodes of this TV show until early next year at the earilest.- 4,591 replies

I partly agree with you and partly disagree with you on this. The part that I agree with you on this in that at least some of the other companies are trying too hard to capture the figurative hearts of consumers. However, the part that I disagree with you on this on that LEGO only focuses on one thing. I'm saying this because: one, LEGO also does a wide range of products (they still do extended line products like clothing, magnets and keychains, way more than they did in the 1980's and 1990's, as an example, and they do too many useless themes, such as single (one and then done, never to be seen again) licensed and unlicensed themes), and two, they put in way, way too many named characters in sets and not nearily enough generic, grunt, nameless, foot soldier type of minifigures in sets. This is especially true in licensed themes like Star Wars, where there is not even one regular, Imperial Trooper in any of the sets (no, General Veers doesn't count as one, as he is an Imperial Trooper Officer), whereas in the movies there are way, way more Imperial Troopers than there are Storm Troopers, black Elite Storm Troopers, Sand Troopers, Snow Troopers and Death Star Troopers combined there, but unlicensed themes are not immune to this either, such as in the Legends of Chima theme, where there is, so far, not even one proper generic, unnamed Lion or Crocodile animal warrior, as two examples, in any of the sets or Speedorz, for us to army build there without us in having a clone of Leonidases or Crawleys, for example. Therefore, I strongly believe that LEGO is, more or less, doing the exact same thing as these other companies in them trying to hard to capture the figurative hearts of consumers, as well as them not putting enough thought, effort and care into their products.
